We dont trust anyone but them! Found them on groupon about a year or so ago and they are incredible. Theyre honest and will tell you to go to a specific place if they are uncertain about something. I bought the groupon to get my brakes and roters replaced, I also called ahead of time to ensure that my vehicle would qualify for the group on. When I talk to the gentleman over the phone he said yeah just come in what check it out as long as it may meet certain requirements your good but you have to come in which was a red flag. Even though I was hesitant I still gave him a shot and went in. Once I was there he took my keys to make some calls didnt even take a look at the vehicle of the VIN and 30 minutes later he told me would be a $150 in cash if I needed their assistance.

Following up on the other reviews, these guys are A+ in their professionalism and workmanship.There’s a ton of places that can do oil changes, brakes, and other basic work, but they did a total engine replacement on my 2006 Lexus 400h hybrid SUV.Just getting the old engine out looked like you would need Superman to help!I don’t know how they did it, because a hybrid engine is much more difficult to replace than others, but they got my baby performing like new again.After that experience, I am bringing my cars and recommending that my friends/family bring theirs to MAC (Midwest Auto Care).* Side note: If you come here with a Groupon, tip these guys because they make no money on that.Once you see the work they do, just come here directly so they don’t have to pay the Groupon fee, it’s much better to support a local business.

When I was calling around looking for a deal on a synthetic oil change I couldnt find any for less than $85. I saw Midwest Auto Care on Groupon and called them directly to see if they would honor the price of $44.45. They did even though they advertised 5 qt I needed 6 qt and they threw it in at no extra charge. I found them to be quick efficient friendly and taking precautions for the pandemic. I wasnt ready to do it at the time but will return when my next oil change is due which they agreed to give me at no extra charge. I was greeted at the counter by the owner of the shop (Jeff) who was extremely down to earth and friendly. Although busy, he took the time to engage in a nice friendly conversation. It made me feel really comfortable about my decision to walk into his shop. I noticed that each person who entered the shop was greeted with the same courtesy and kindness. He seems to really take pride in treating his customers well. During our conversation, we discussed some necessary maintenance issues on the car. Jeff quoted me prices that were more than fair. And he did not try to push unnecessary maintenance needs on me. The other thing that I really appreciated was how he took me in to visually inspect the issues to be worked on before, during and after the repairs. A sure sign of an honest mechanic. Bottom line, hes a nice guy with a great work ethic.On my last visit, I met the mechanic who was working on my car (John). I have nothing but excellent things to say about him, as well. He told me that when he receives a car to work on it becomes his own and he treats it as such. He was as kind, friendly and informative as Jeff. And he is definitely and asset to the shops professional energy.The majority of these reviews seem to be positive. I did notice a couple of negative ones. My immediate thought given my experience was the old saying that you cant please everyone. And usually those people who you cant please are the ones who want it their way regardless of what reality dictates.My experience showed that other shop owners could take a lesson from Jeff. Quick and friendly service. They honored the Groupon deal for a synthetic oil change, however they ignored that tire rotation that is advertised as included in the deal. When asked if a tire rotation was completed, I was told that my front tires had better tread than my back ones which would be better for my FWD. However, my front tires were bald and I already had an appt at another place to get new front tires later that day. Not only did they not check my tires, but they lied about it.
