My car was given for A5 service on 10/16(sat).Below where the Primary Comments in the service requestCLIENT AWARE VEHICLE WILL NOT BE COMPLETED TODAY but REQUESTS A.S.A.P AT LEAST BY TUESDAY (10/19) WITH DETAILI was fine getting my cat on 10/19. But I got my car delivered on 10/21 - delayed by two extra days. Not acceptable. The reason I was told for the delay was not logical. I was told the delay is due to the service department being busy. If so, why was I told to get the service done by 10/19? Also, the car was wet from inside with water droplets. I paid for a detailed cleaning service; I expected some quality work. I expected some timely and quality service.Moreover, I also requested the front license plate installation (see service request) - it was not done at all. Still, I am running a car with no front license plate installed - Not acceptable.Overall - Bad experience!!
Top notch....had service done on my car. This dealership us set up like a gated community...at a resort...Service was fast and dealership customer service reps very helpful friendly and thorough...
If I could give a 0 star, I would. I felt like I was being treated less than a human. No loaner car, don’t offer any rental, give me $15 uber vouchers lol, and doesn’t answer my text or my calls. The only way I could get in touch was to drive to the service center myself. Keep my cars for 2 days for 2 hours job. The best part is getting charge $400 because “they believe it was physically damaged” even though the car is spotless without a single scratch.
I dropped my vehicle off on Tuesday for a scheduled oil change and 3 days later still do not have my car. All I got is a sorry for your inconvenience. Had I known it takes this long for an oil change I would have waited to schedule the appt when a loaner was available. Originally they told me to wait since it would be an hour to and hour and a half. Good thing I didn’t wait I’d still be there 3 days later. By far the worst service I have experienced. Their reason is short staffed which is fine and I would have understood and made other vehicle arrangements but when I scheduled no one informed me of this. Poor communication on their behalf. A total inconvenience for a simple oil change. Unacceptable

This is the first time Ive had to have major work done on my Mercedes so the verdict is pending on the quality of the mechanic work... very spacious waiting area and covid safety protocols are practiced... I was also assigned a beautiful loaner vehicle.

First of all they didn’t have any available appointments available until a week and half later. I sent my husband in to drop off my vehicle. When he walked in staff members were just staring at my husband and nephew instead of asking if they needed to be helped seemed like they were waiting to see what staff would approach after a few minutes my husband asked is anyone available to help. They were not friendly at all then someone in a suite came around and told my husband someone will be right with him. Finally Tony approached my husband and asked to help my husband told him he was there to drop off my vehicle for Service A1 and that I he had a coupon, my husband said he looked bothered and made an unpleasant face about the coupon when mentioned. My husband also asked if they can check the driver seat and blind spot assist and Tony told him it would be $220.00 for each item to be inspected but if we decided to have it repaired they would would waive the fee. The irony in this is in the past I have paid for one fee for the entire vehicle to be inspected. Then I get an email for repairs of over $7,000 that I didn’t even ask to be inspected which I most certainly appreciate they did but wasn’t charged for inspection fees for a long list of items that were not requested. So had I not requested for my driver seat and blind spot assist it would have been in the report without cost??? I decided not to get any repairs done there because that left a bad impression on me and the way my husband was treated. I also got a message saying my vehicles was ready but to call ahead at least an hour so they would have it ready up front and I did notify them more than an hour in advance, when I arrived I experience the same thing my husband did. I walked in and there was a lady in the far left just staring at me she knew I was waiting instead of saying at least hi to acknowledge my presence she walks away then walks back and says yes! I told her I was here to pick up my car then she asked who was helping and I told her Tony he was just finishing up with a call and then called me over. Even though I called ahead of time I still had to wait over an hour for my vehicle. Over all just a very different experience that I got when I first went there a few years ago to purchase my vehicle. I don’t plan on having any repairs done or maintenance going forward and will look for another Mercedes Benz dealership .
Jawad is hands down the best mechanic I have worked with.He communicates very well and he treats my vehicles needs in a forthcoming, direct way.When it comes to any serious work on my sprinter, I will always come here. They have a lot of crucial resources that other shops just dont have access to, understandably. (Diagnostic support teams, a wide variety of parts on hand)Keep up the good work guys
Nick Cardoza went out of his way to take care of the issues. A part is on worldwide backorder but he made sure that I could use my Sprinter in the meantime. He is the 4th adviser/service manager/everything else doer in less than two years I have worked with at this location. How one of the most successful MB dealerships in the US can be too cheap to hire a second person to manage this department is beyond me.
Lynne Olson is awesome! It’s never a dull moment with her. She knows her job and provide great service. I’ve had other reps but she was the one I chose and I love working with her. Thank you Lynne for all that you do!
The service center for Mercedes-Benz of Chicago is nothing less then magnificent. Very helpful customer reps. Luxuriously appointed lounge area for the wait. Easy in, easy out. If you are driving by with your Mercedes, they offer complimentary carwashes. Just one more reason to buy from Mercedes-Benz of Chicago. An update. I ran over a nail coming home from work Friday evening. My tire sensor let me know that I had a flat tire. No problem with run flat tires. I called Chicago Mercedes-Benz Service Center that evening. I was able to get in for a quick tire change the next day. Very convenient and helpful. I like to add something on to my review. I had a check engine light on and made an appointment and I was uncomfortable driving my vehicle with the check engine light on. I drove in with no appointment. Spoke to the service rep and they took my car right away to get a quick scan to make sure that I would not damage my vehicle with the light on. Very courteous and exemplary customer service.
I called MB on Monday this week, and was told the tire needs to be ordered, since not in stock per Theo sales person !I called as a follow up a day prior to my appointment to see the status of tire arrival of the tire, I was told by Theo, it would arrive the day of service .I dropped my car on day of serviceI get a call after two hours to be told the tire is not in stock !Now my AMG GT 53 is stuck at the dealershipI am a physicianI have to go to hospital daily to take care of patientsThis has caused such a huge inconvenienceNever got a loanerMelvin the associate,initially called and said tire won’t be there till WednesdayI told him, I was told tire would be here on day of serviceAsked him to check againHe called back and said it’s a fedex delay and expects it on Friday which is todayI think MB Chicago needs to better take care of their AMG ownersExpect a world class service Atleast after this e mail !I would like to get a follow up from the service managerTy
They have great service and are quickly able to figure out whT is needed. I like that no matter what it is, the aorkwr will always let us know and the go from there. Everything they have fixed on me and my husbands benz was done correctly and at a decent price for what they are going to do to your car. I recommend if you have a mercedes or audi I believe thats the other side that they fix those cars because of the type of car and being foreign it will be the best place to go because thats what they specialize in and will know whT to actually fix unlike some places they take a guess a d just have to keep spending more Nd more cause these type of cars so it is done right the firT time. The workers are wonderful and will figure the diagnosis to your car. So yes I do recommend them to anyone with those types of cars cuss those is all they focused in on. Audi and mercedes benz, I belive.. so thank you Mercedes-Benz of chKCAGO for fixing my husband car and will be returning to This Location for anything that iaa needed to e fixed on. . The experience I had today really has me never wanting to return here. The only saving grace might be the advisor Melvin. I was quoted a price for body work that wasn’t completed correctly then if that wasn’t bad enough the porter or whoever stole my MB usbc adapter cable & Apple iPhone charger! Totally ridiculous & unacceptable!!!

My car needed emergency repairs just days before it was scheduled to be transported. Despite the tight schedule Kyle made sure that everything was done and kept me updated. Was able to pick up my car as promised, great service and staff.
I was pleased to find a very efficient operation. The waiting area is comfortable and well appointed with friendly staff. I liked the ability to get information via text and web links, even approving or deferring recommended repairs. I usually use my local mechanic for most services with the car out of warranty, but I will absolutely consider this dealership repair center in the future.
I got an A service done last week. I am so happy with my experience! It was so fast and Jacob did a really good job of keeping me updated while I waited. He checked my car completely to make sure I was on the road safe and I’ll be coming back in a couple of months to replace my back tires!! I made the appointment that same day with a loaner. Everyone is so nice here!

Brought my car in at 7:30 am for an 8 am scheduled routine maintenance on my 2020 MB GLE that I purchased from the dealership. At 5:30 pm, I had not heard from the service department regarding service status. At that time, I was told that my assigned technician would call me back. I called the service department again at 7 pm as I had not received a return call. I was again told that I could expect a call from the service manager still that evening. No call.The next day, still at 10:30 am, now 27 hours after dropping my vehicle for a scheduled service, I still had not received any phone call from anyone at MB Service Center...neither the assigned technician or manager...to let me know of the status of my vehicle. I was again told that a message would be left with the manager on schedule and could expect a phone call.Finally at 11:45 am, I received a call from the assigned tech indicating that my car would be complete and I could pick up later in the afternoon.It is inexplicable to me how a regular maintenance service - an appointment for which was scheduled at 8 am - takes 27 hours to complete. Putting that aside, the complete and utter lack of communication about the status of my vehicle and service - after repeated calls - demonstrates a lack of respect for the customer that is astonishing.Extraordinarily poor service.
The customer service is number one in it’s class. Jesus was my customer service advisor and he was very helpful with my questions and concerns. His attention to detail was great. I found a repair shop I can trust after so much trial and error.

My wife and I had to take our car in for maintenance. I prepared myself for a long wait while drinking the stale coffee I brought with. When we arrived, and to my surprise, they took the car immediately to begin the maintenance. The store had a ton of customers, yet the salesmen took his time with us to explain everything. No matter how busy Mercedes Benz is they always make you feel welcomed and part of the family. After many, many years of different dealerships, I have finally found a dealership I do not dread going to. Mercedes Benz, by far, has the best communication, service and advisors who truly care and are trying to make a difference one customer at a time.
Melvin Peoples has always been the employee that I have dealt with every time I’ve been serviced. He provides great service to all of his customers, as helps to understand and thoroughly cover everything pertaining to the vehicles. Before bringing my car to this location, I’d heavily considered selling my Benz to get a different car, as I felt they were too expensive in upkeep. Whenever I’d get serviced for one thing, it seemed as if I would leave with a bill of other things that would always be tacked on. Since I’ve met Melvin, although he has convinced me to keep my car, as he always offers me planning of when to get my car serviced to avoid the extra costs. Melvin has helped me greatly with his abundance of knowledge with the cars, and has sincerely made me feel welcome every time I have been serviced. You would think a mercedes dealership in Chicago would have integrity in the work they do but this is not the case I had a fuel pump replacement to only get my vehicle back doing the exact same thing it was doing before I had it towed to the dealership I cant believe they charged me for really not completing a simple job correctly
My car is a little older so I was skeptical of bringing it in for service for fear of the bill. Melvin Peoples did an amazing job of explaining the required service & routine maintenance. When we purchased our GLE from Mercedes Benz of Chicago we heard great things about there service center, we now service our vehicle there as well, even tho we live in northwest suburbs. We have never been disappointed. They always have loaners available. Communication and professionalism are second to none . The facility is impeccable and clean . Will not take our Benz any where else .

I have been a satisfied customer of MB of Chicago Service Center since I purchased my 2003 MB. The staff is knowledgeable and cordial. I have kept my car this long because they constantly keep it in top condition. Because of this level of service I would recommend them to any MB owner. From their precall reminders to the post call follow up this is the level of customer experience you would expect. They constantly exceed my expectations..and mine are very high.

I have always been a fan of mercedes and the way they treat their customers. However, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Kyle was rude, arrogant from the start of our phone conversation. He failed to call me once the car was ready nor did he ask if I needed a voucher to pick up my car. Instead he was irritated when I inquired about their labor discount and asked if I really needed the $7 discount? Once I entered the location the rude behavior continued from Kyle. Once again he didnt apply the discount nor acccept the Lyft ride and stated I should have told him earlier and take it up with management if you want. Yet again had go tell him to apply the discount to which he rolled his eyes and tried to convince me it was already there but it wasnt! Do yourself a favor and go to Loeber Motors instead where their customer service and attention to detail is bar none. Never going to this location again!

They’ve recently been up charging me for basic services. I took my car in to get breaks, & they added an additional $700 (on top of the $600) for something that of course couldn’t be fixed without the breaks. So I HAD to get it! ...a mth later I still could hear what sounds like rubbing coming from my break pads. Took it back in for them to check the break noise & also told them I would get the Thrust control arm fixed ($500-which they quoted me a mth before). They kept my car through the weekend, & tues. is when I found out I needed an ADDITIONAL service that of course couldn’t be done without the Thrust Control Arm, which was going to cost an extra $700! AND, then he quoted me $900 for the Thurst Arm (after quoting me a mth before $500). I of course said something, & he said he’d fix it. Here’s the thing. I will pay for a service if it’s necessary. But THIS is why getting services done at the dealership has a bad name. My car had no sound even when I took it in before the breaks. NOW my car not only has a break sound, but a knocking noise. I’m super disappointed in the way they’re handling these extra services especially during Covid & the financial strain that’s come on this country. It’s a luxury to get a service done at the dealership. The least they could do is their job & fix! Not add on extra things that are likely unnecessary. I don’t know anything about cars to say what’s right or wrong.

I am extremely displeased with my recent experience and the level of service I have received at Mercedes Benz Chicago. I have been a customer of Mercedes Benz for over 15 years, this being my third purchase. I have enjoyed my vehicles and always felt confident in my continued decision to do business with Mercedes, until now.At initial purchase I was very excited about my new vehicle and due to my history with Mercedes drove away with confidence. That was short lived, the sales staff made an error with my registration causing an issue with me receiving my plates and my insurance. When I realized the mistake had been made I reached out to Raul at Mercedes Benz only to be told they refused to assist in correcting the error. I in turn had to go through great lengths to even receive a response and to this day my registration is still incorrect.Moving past this error as a one off experience due to my loyalty to the Mercedes brand I was only further disappointed when I discovered my vehicle had a defect. The display screen scrambled at will and is frequently unavailable for use due to this. When I brought this to the attention of Lynne Olson I was told it is just an issue with Apple and Mercedes and basically told I should live with it. If this is a known issue why was this not addressed at the time of purchase or at the very least why was I not advised of the problem? I can imagine because the thinking of the salesman was who would spend this amount of money on a defective vehicle and that thinking would be correct. I would not have purchased this SUV with a known defect or a feature that I could not use and furthermore I am appalled that the position and policy of Mercedes is to ignore the problem and leave the customers to live with it.To make matters worse, my vehicle has an acceleration issue in that it seems to drag or delay in accelerating. I am sure you are aware of how dangerous this is for me and my family who ride in this car daily. I brought the car in to Mercedes Benz for inspection due to extreme concern and left it overnight only to be told that nothing could be found. Suffice it to say that given my recent experience with your service department this did not instill confidence or security in the safety of this vehicle. I not only have lost all trust in the commitment of the service department but also have doubts that they are even interested in doing anything other than brushing off important matters to avoid being bothered.And now most recently when I brought the car in with the acceleration issue I was advised that there was a $650 service due on the car. I have less than 10,000 miles on this car since my purchase and cannot believe that if there were a service due so soon after purchase that it would have been done prior to sale. Who expects to purchase a car and have to turn around and get a major service or repair done in less than their first 12,000 miles or first year of ownership? This only lends further to showing the lack of commitment of Mercedes Benz of Chicago and the service department to delivering safe quality vehicles to their customers and has truly affected my loyalty to the brand. I have received better and expect more from a brand I trust to keep me and my family safe on the road.
Like a lot of people, I was hesitant to go to a dealer for service. But I could not be happier that I did. I had a list of repairs from another shop that did not seem right to me. I scheduled an appointment with Mercedes-Benz of Chicago Service Center, and in about an hour, I was informed that I did not need three out of the four repairs suggested by the other shop. An hour later, I had my repaired vehicle back and saved $600. I will always bring my vehicle here for service. I highly recommend you do, too.
Great friendly staff as soon as i pulled in. I was promply taken to my service consultant who explained in fine detail everything i was going to have serviced on my 2019 S-class. Such a nice facility with great amenities. Vehicle was also cleaned!

I brought the car in for something simple and they then took 4 days to tell me the same thing I told them then wanted another 800 plus on top of a mandatory 210 which I got nothing for to continue... I’m sure if I would have left it there they would have come up with thousands more in fixes which cost 4x any other professional shop would charge. They had no customer courtesy cars said there was a wait list again causing me to have to stay home from work during this time period

At this location I got the complete run arounds my consultant was out from until Monday they gave me the run around saying he would call me then when he got in I asked about my car he stated he would call my this afternoon ok and thanks nothing but attitude all I wanted was updates but never again will I go here
