Went in to get the radiator replaced, brakes, and axles fixed. Got a quote and had it repaired. Then for some reason my ac would not work. It turns out they forgot to put the condenser hose back while repairing the radiator, they punctured a hole on the top of the condenser and left it as is. They had the nerve to I must have taken it to another repair shop and they forgot to put the parts back?! I had the receipts for all the services I had received at this location in the past 4 months along with their warranty for their work They at first agreed to fix the repairs that they caused and then went back on their word and charged me for the damage they caused. Since they had my car for two day I just went ahead and paid for the repairs. They told me all of their work has a warranty and if anything was wrong, I could bring it back but on the receipt they put no warranty on services which was explained to the customer. DO NOT GO HERE!! This is not an honest establishment. They will cause damage to your vehicle to you keep coming back for more repairs.

I was hearing a noise on my car that’s been driving me crazy so after taking it to 2 different shops, (that couldn’t figure out the problem) I finally decided to take it to Goodyear who had figured out what that noise was in no time.They charged me less than I had ever expected and finished it less than 30 minutes. The guys in the front were very friendly and really took care of me. If I ever have any other problems I will definitely bring my car back, I appreciate you guys.

We had a special deployment in the area and one of our cars lost its power steering pump. We brought the vehicle over first thing in the morning and it was done by noon. Definitely recommend. I wish they were closer to our headquarters to use them more often.

Been needing to get a new catalytic converter for almost a year now. It was stolen along with a cut cord and the O2 sensor. I got quotes upwards of 1500 dollars, but I had to go buy the parts. I passed by this place, googled them and every single review was a great review, so that helped. I almost walked away when he said Ill have to pay for them to inspect it, but Im ecstatic I didnt. Their quote was very affordable, atleast for me and considering past quotes. And bonus I didnt have to go buy parts or wait a lifetime to get my car back. I popped in around 1:45 got a quote called a Lyft to my sisters cause Im not familiar with the area. By the time I got to my sisters and got comfortable they called and said head back were almost done. My car was done before 3:30. My baby runs smooth, like new again, and that loud noise is no more. The gentlemen was even nice enough to take a look at another issue or 2 I had. I didnt feel like they were trying to upsell me anything. So far I am pleased with the customer service, my car and how attentive they were soon as you walk in. Most people dont bat an eye when you walk into their business. Even though Im on the northside of Chicago, I feel these guys would be worth the trip.

I must admit, I was very skeptical about going to this auto shop, because of past experiences with other establishments. High prices and poor service. Im so happy to say, that was not the case here...This place is Top Notch they were upfront with me about my car, they didnt try to sell me stuff I did not need or want. When Cal gave me my quote, I immediately began looking for things to eliminate, in order to save money. He offered me different options that fit my budget and allowed me to get the work done on my car that I so desperately needed. Hassan and Cal both provided excellent customer service... I cant say enough about this place and the staff besides, take your business there and you wont regret it...

I was searching auto shops on Google and seen the great reviews for Interstate so i said i would stop in.There was a young man in the front I heard them call him bacon and cheese. He check me in and told me I needed brakes and tires he showed me how the new tires are compare to mine and he showed me my brakes and why I need them. He was amazing and he give me a great price. I called Firestone to compare and his price was cheaper than them by $200.

I went there to check on a price for brakes. The guy older guy just wrote a price on ayellow sticky and hand it to me. I went down the streetto another brake place got it done for $100 cheaper. And the gentleman wrote me up an estimate detailing everything I was getting. Not great attitudes here.

This is a longer review that most of you wont read, so Ill sum it up here. This is an amazing mechanic shop where you will find a super knowledgable, respectful, patient, and helpful staff that will go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. I bring both of my cars to these guys for work and regular maintenance, I highly recommend them! They also guarantee their work with a warranty on almost everything they do.I started going to Interstate when I popped a tire on my car. I didnt know much about cars or car maintenance, and generally just trusted mechanics to do the work they said would. On that first time Tom took the time to show me how tread on cars was supposed to look, how the tread on all my tires looked, and made sure I understood why all four of my tires needed to be replaced. Toms staff gave me a ride from his shop to job and picked me up when the tires were ready.Since then I have gotten brakes changed on both of my cars, an alternator and battery replaced on one, and basic maintenance like changing oil and rotating tires on both vehicles. These guys are always patient and polite. They also go out of their way to explain to me whats going on with any problem and even pull up photos online or from my vehicles user manual to show me more information. They do their best to help me understand whatever the problem is and ways to prevent it in the future. Theyre also just really nice guys who remember previous discussions you have with them and genuinely want to make sure youre taken care of in all of your interactions.

Took care of my car after a sheered a bolt, very quick turnaround, good communication, probably gonna take my car in tomorrow to have them change my tires. Theyve earned my business!

Overall experience was great. Bought four new Goodyear Weather Ready Tires and got rear brake service. Mechanics provided me with all the details on saving over $250 dollars on tires and brakes. Customer service was fantastic, as the company dropped off and picked me up from work when my car service was completed. I will be back for future car tune ups when they arise.

Rolled in out of the blue. No appointment. Never heard of the place. Told Tom I needed a new tire (it was flat). First words out of his mouth were, “Lemmie take a look. I don’t want to sell you a new tire if you don’t need it.” SO REFRESHING 🙌🏻. That level of honesty and customer service is combo rarely seen anymore these days. I know zilch about cars, so he EASILY coulda sold me a bill of goods. And I would’ve forked over the cash no questions asked. Ended up just needing a patch. $25 - in and out in 10 min. Long story short, if you live in the area and need to fix a flat (or more! they do it all), do yourself a favor and head to Interstate Auto. Your car / wallet will thank you.

The customer service and actual work was great. I did feel like I was being toggled with on the price because I was a lady and alone. I got an initial quote of $350 for a tune up and oil change. After checking the vehicle, the guy came back and said my front brakes were at 35% and they would do everything for $800! I asked, if I was here for front brakes alone, that would cost me $450 and he said yeah. After some back and forth, he went down to, $750, then $600 and then all the way down to $550 for everything. I only let them do my tune up and oil change. Got my front brakes done elsewhere for $85.

The staff at Interstate were thorough, considerate of my budget and got the job done fast. Since the new tires, brake pads and rebalancing (thank, potholes) the car has driven well and stopped better.They gave me a ride home since the car had to stay over night and I had a really nice conversation with the driver.A good experience all the way around.

Interstate auto at 1254 S. Western provides excellent, professional, trustworthy and friendly services the mechanics are top notch and the managers or supervisors are like family to me. I have been a customer for many years and would not think about taking my car anywhere else for services. Im sure the life of my car is extended because of their service providekrs.

The guys at interstate tires literally take care of my mom like family. She is new to the city, and an older widow, and she is very nervous of being taking advantage of. The team here does the absolute opposite! They are clear with their pricing and work, and never overcharge. She and I will be customers for a long time.

Tom went above and beyond with his customer service. We knew we could trust him and we are thankful to have found such a great business to fix our car when needed.

Overall a good experience. I had front suspension worked on, both struts and control arm assembly replaced for around $1400 on 2006 Lexus SC430. Only issues were they were told me they would look at it and call me back within the hour to let me know what was up, but it ended up being the end of the day, and then they couldnt get parts until the following day, so I was without transportation for a couple of days. Still, I recommend and would go back again.

This place is the best. I bought tires all around for my car. I hit a pothole and bubbled a new tire. They took care of me and even showed me I needed new brakes. My passengers door was hit in an accident and wouldn’t open. They took the time to unbend my fender so I could once again use my passengers door. Thanks a lot guys 😁. Needed some work done and went to them for a second opinion. They were able to do the work for a better price and they got it done in a couple of hours. Luckily, they also noticed I had a nail in my tire and were able to take care of that too.

Having work done on my car here was a nightmare. I called to ask about getting new tires and Tom told me to just come by and he can have the tires install in no time. I arrived at 8:30am and said I needed to be out by 11:30am for an important meeting at noon. Hours passed by with no updates from him. After asking him if the job was almost done, he said it was another 30 min (this was at 11am).Another customer had been waiting longer than me and became upset and asked Tom for updates. Tom’s customer service skills are amongst the worst I’ve seen. He went into the garage and hid out there to avoid us asking about the long delay.Finally, I am told my car is done. By the way, I missed my meeting. Upon inspecting my car, I noticed that my rims are scratched harshly. I told them immediately that they damages all of my rims and their technician was quick to tel me that those were done by me and that I was trying to pin it on them. Tom then tells me that they were having difficulty getting the tires off and on my rims. Seriously?! If there is even a doubt of potential damage, YOU NOTIFY the owner of it BEFORE proceeding.At this point Tom has continued with his very hands-off service. They tell me that they will get someone to fix my rims. They end up going back on their word because it will cost them a bit to do so. We ended up settling on a measly $140 check for the damage. In addition they filled out a rebate form for me to get some money off and nothing ever came in the mail, it has been over 6 weeks now.They offered a free oil change for Tom’s awful service and deceptive customer acquisition tactics- telling me that they had my tires and I’d be out in an hour and a half. Needless to say, I won’t be using that oil change. You don’t lie to someone just to secure a customer. I’d understand a hold up if the store was busy but there were only two customers that entire morning.I will never return here again and anyone I know will surely be informed of this place.

Tom and the entire staff her provided me with excellent service. They were able to diagnose and fix a problem with my car that two other mechanics I took my car to, before coming here, were not able to fix.

I took my car in to replace a tire and it turns out I just needed a repair. Additionally, they noticed my break light was out and they replaced the bulb for me. I had no idea the break light was out. Interstate Auto saved me from getting a ticket.

Just wanted to say Ive been dealing with these guys for a few years now...And I have an old model car a 2000 Bonneville SSEI...I have dealt with other shops...But find with Good Year I trust them with other, shops I find to not be so trust wearthy. But Good year they do the job right the first time.If I have any issues I talk with Kay the manager....And he always explain whats needed with repairs to my car...So if you need quality good service to your car I highly recommend Good Year these guys are fantastic and very friendly people.everybody in the shop show much respect and friendly when it comes to the customers.They do there best to keep the customer happy thats a good quality I like where I spend my money.

I was visiting Chicago from MD and noticed our tire was low..I went to Goodyear and I was assisted immediately.The location is clean and Al and his staff were fantastic.We were in and out in less than 20 minutes.He even showed us the nail in our tire! Good people, and you feel like you can trust them in comparison to other car shops. They do charge more because they are a corporate store and their standard is to use premium parts, but again, comes with a warranty and you can trust them. Even if you are a woman... ;)

Great shop. Took my car there bcuz 3 other shops told me I needed an oil pan and wanted to charge me over 700 dollars. I took my car to interstate and they fixed my oil leak for 120$ it was only the oil pressure sensor. Saved me lots of money!! Thanks to K

Read the comments on here. Thought I’d check the spot out since they are around the corner from me. Just as I expected. $450 for back brakes and rotors? I have a 2008 Chevy. Not a foreign. Not going to mention the other prices they gave me. They charge dealer prices. Go to the dealer if you go to them.

Very reliable very dependable store nice people

Had to have my Pacifica towed there since I couldnt get the shifter out of Park due to the TIPM (electrical issue). Asked for them to look into it and they were up front telling me it may take a few days to run a full electrical diagnostic and cost me $200+ just to find the problem (normal practice). Parts and labor to fix it would be extra. Unfortunately the problem required work/expertise from a Chrysler dealer so they couldnt do the work. They did though find a workaround for me to drive the car out. I picked up the car and after showing me how to get it out of Park, they didnt charge me for the diagnostic!! Tom said he felt bad charging me since they couldnt fix it for me and was very apologetic. Tom and his crew were very courteous, fair and HONEST. They specialize in tires but can do most mechanical work...if you live in the area and/or need tires or mechanical work, check these guys out first!
