Ok if you read my reviews I never give out five stars. To be honest though there isnt anything I could have seen that they could do differently. In my mind if it aint broke dont fix it. I saw their reviews on Yelp and my poor little Dodge Grand Caravan was sick. I took it to them for a diagnostic because of the reviews. When I got there Joe the service manager was just so wonderful and helpful. Even though the drive was long and the traffic was bad the experience was great and I normally hate going to the shop for anything including oil changes. I just feel they are always trying to look for a reason to try and charge you 12000 arms and legs. I mean I only got 2 of each. Any who they took great care of diagnoising me. The charge was minimal. Joe made sure I knew what I needed to do and what my alternatives were. I mean really what kind of shop takes the time to get you to understand what needs to be done not pressing you one little bit about getting any work done just simply leaving it to you to make the best decision for your self.

Firstly, let me say I dont personally know anyone at this company so you can rest assured this is a real customer review. No one has asked me or paid me to do this review, and I rarely do reviews, but these guys truly earned mine!Next, Ill admit, I havent trusted mechanics in over a decade. It seems rare these days to find someone you can really trust. I havent been going here long but I can honestly say that my trust has been building fast in these guys, something I could not say for anyone else in forever. I will continue servicing my car, and my loved ones cars, here, in hopes of building a lasting relationship for many years to come.Long story short, some circumstances brought me to their doorstep and ever since, my trust has been building in them (which I havent been able to say in forever). Not only that, they were professional (but also really kind) from the first minute I walked in. Their waiting area was comfortable and unique too.Anyway, they really took care of my mom and her mysterious car issue that no one else could resolve, and they did it quick. Sam took the lead on this visit and he was nothing short of amazing. I can tell he really wanted to help my mom and did honorable things no one else would have done. He didnt seem concerned about the money as he was about helping her.With this said, Im going to be taking my own car here as well. I hope to have more review updates in the near future.Thank you to your whole team! You guys have done well to impress thus far! Much appreciated!

Great place. Had an alignment for reasonable price, brought it back a week later as the alignment was stull off a notch on my 20 year old car. They got it aligned as much as possible. Quick and honest service. And the parts department is a joy to watch fill orders while you wait, great entertainment value.

Joe and his staff is the best. They are very professional and Joe will never rip you off. We brought our Toyota RAV4 for service a week ago. The initial diagnosis was transmission problem. Its the same diagnosis from a different auto shop that we brought the car to. Since we trust Joe more than the other auto shop, me and my wife decided to have Joe fixed it. We were given a quote of almost $7000 to have the transmission and the ECM replaced. We were surprised when we were given a second quote of only $1682 after a week and they fixed it. The problem was the ECM and not the transmission. Joe saved us $5,300. He is a very honest man and treat his customers like a family or friends. In this materialistic world of ours, Joe is a very rare breed. We will never find a man and an auto shop like him. Thanks Joe, we will always be indebted with gratitude from you. I noticed that a light came on stating my charging system was not working so I headed to see Joe at 8 am. Since my alternator probably wasnt working I knew I wouldnt get very far running on the battery. I stopped at Hollywood Services and sure enough it wouldnt restart. Joe replaced the alternator on my 300,000 mile Acura at a reasonable price and I was on my way within two hours. Joe is the BEST

First time customer. I wanted an alternative to driving to the Skokie dealership for routine maintenance on my 2016 Subaru Forester. I did research and decided to find a ASE Certified mechanic in my area. Hollywood Services is well-reviewed and convenient, so I made an online appointment. I saved some money, a lot of time, and the job was done efficiently. I requested a couple of estimates for upcoming maintenance, which were promptly sent via email. I will be returning to Hollywood Services for these services.

This was quite possibly the best experience I have had bringing my car to a shop. I had an issue and I did not know what was exactly wrong. I was able to get my car in quickly and calling to book an appointment was super easy. When I brought my car in the next day everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.Joe took a look at my car and not only diagnosed and fix it quickly but when I came to pick it up he wanted to make sure I truly knew what was wrong. I really appreciate him taking the time to make sure I understood the issue. The fix was very affordable and I fully intend on bringing my car back with any future issues. These guys were the kindest, most honest people I’ve worked with. My Camry needed new brakes on a Friday and they had me out by Saturday. They even stayed after hours when the parts were taking to long to be delivered. Even when I called a few times, they always had a positive attitude on the phone and fully explained everything. The socket of my left headlight became faulty causing the light to dim and I needed to head out on the road the next day to drive back home to Oregon. I called Hollywood, they told me to come in to see if they could fix it. Not only did they fix it, they were really kind and polite, offering me coffee, and they completed the service in about half n hour. Thank you for helping make my trip home even safer!

Hollywood Saved my CarWhen I brought my car to Hollywood, I had no idea what was wrong with it, or if the warranty would cover the repairs.Hollywood figured it out right away, brought in the warranty company, and had everything taken care of in a few days. This is my first experience with Hollywood AP&S and I will say that it turned out to be excellent. Joe was friendly and very honest about what the car would need and seemed genuinely concerned that I be satisfied with their work and service. They treated the car like it was their own and made sure that the work was done right. To me it is a great relief to have found Hollywood Services as my car is now a bit older and will likely need more service as it ages and I really dont want to use the dealer anymore. I suspect they can work on any domestic and foreign car and if they cant they probably can refer you to someone who can. I highly recommend them and while I dont really want to have anything break or fail on my car I now feel confident that I have found a shop that can handle future repairs and service. What a relief.

I cannot say enough great things about Joe and the team at Hollywood. I often feel taken advantage of at auto-shops because I am not very knowledgeable. I was amazed at the care and service shown to me here. I came in with a leak in my tire and needed to get it patched up. I was greeted down as soon as I walked in and told to relax, have coffee and cookies while they looked at the problem. I was barely there for 30 minutes and they had found the problem and patched it all up. Definitely coming back here.

I walked in for an oil change, they said 90 minute wait or come back. I chose wait, but they expedited me and I was out in 40.

The staff is super helpful and friendly. They tell you what the problem is and give you an estimate up front. They were very honest from the start and even let me borrow one of their cars so I could get to work, while me car was being fixed. They also gave me a warranty on their parts and labor. Great people.

My boyfriend recommended Joe and I was not disappointed. Joe and his team treat you like family and provide excellent customer service. Joe always sends you an estimate but walks you through the things you should definitely fix ASAP and explains the things you can wait to fix. I had a clutch slipping on a 2012 Mini Cooper and looked for a possible place to get it checked out and the car is in town from Michigan. They inspected the car and indeed the clutch was bad. They made the repairs in two days at much less than if I had taken it to a Mini dealer. The parts were replaced with BMW/Mini parts and they show me the burned out clutch and they even threw in a needed oil change. Joe the owner is a old time honest man that I would recommend to everyone a REAL find in todays world. Thanks I will return for future repairs.

The worst experience i had in this placethe guy name joe and ninos are crooks my cousin had a lexus 2008 didnt pass emission took it to hollywood auto parts 10 years ago with a list of two sensorsneed to be replaced they kepted in the shop for a week they called to say that the cost would be $ 3550 and the car its selfworth about $ 4000 ..they said if you cant pay the $3550 you cant have the carat the end my cousin paid for the labor only in the amount of $1550 so he can it out without fixing it plus about $300 for renting a car

Joe and the crew are always transparent and honest about the work, and answer all questions, whether I phone them in, or ask in person. Most recently, I brought my vehicle in for a new radiator; this is a massive undertaking on my year/make/model due to obstacles built in with respect to the construction of the vehicle. They went through the arduous task of removing the old one and installing the new only to discover that, upon testing, the new one was defective on an extremely minute level; something I would likely have never noticed. Despite that, Joe directed the crew to remove it once again, and install a completely new one without altering the price on iota. In fact, Hollywood honored a military discount (Im a retired Naval officer) on top of that, which actually *reduced* the bill. I started bringing my two vehicles there based on a recommendation from an old Navy friend of 25 years, and I return year after year based on quality of work, service, and most importantly to me, integrity . We are currently 1.5 miles from Hollywood, but relocating slightly west of our current location by ~5-6 miles in the spring. As long as the vehicles are drivable, we will continue to bring our vehicles to Hollywood.

I came to Hollywood Auto after buying a used Jeep Wrangler and I knew it needed some work but I was nervous about how much and if I made a good buy. Joe sat down with me like a doctor would with a nervous patient and asked me questions that a mechanic has never asked before like how long do you expect to keep this vehicle, are you planning any long trips in the near future, have you noticed any problems, and what would you most like to get out of your visit with us? By getting to know me and the vehicle as a pair, he was able to talk me through issues and give me back a vehicle I plan to keep through retirement. I dont know if I should say this, but he and his team detailed my car inside and out taking a wire brush to undercarriage, cleaning the inside and making it smell brand new. It was like a new car when they returned it to me! It was the best experience Ive ever had!!
