This was by far the best experience with a repair shop I have ever had, especially in Chicago. I went through an absolute nightmare after the last place I went to repair my Jeep, so my aunt recommended these guys instead. Not only did they charge significantly less, they helped me save money in multiple ways by doing exactly what they promised in a fraction of the time I was expecting. These guys were honest (the highest compliment I could pay anyone right now), helpful without mansplaining anything, fair, and fast. Fantastic west loop auto mechanic. I had an engine light come on in my keep. Called and spoke with ken and got me in the same day. Ran the diagnostics at no cost. Reset the computer and had me driving out 30 minutes later. As long as I live in the west loop Ill be coming to A&A, highly recommend!

Drove in late from Kansas City and had engine issues about an hour away from downtown. Found A&A on google with all good reviews. Took car in the next moring without an appointment. They were super accomodating and professional, took my car right in. They looked it over and diagnosed the issue. Had it fixed that day. Highly recommend these guys. Reasonable priced and honest. Got my car fixed and got my family back to KC safely.

As the other reviews say, Ken is an all star. Extremely friendly and wants to help his customers. He wasn’t able to fix my issue without doing extensive work, which he clearly explained and let me take my car back instead of trying to convince me to do the repair. I will be taking coming here for my car needs as long as I live in the area.

Ken absolutely rocks.My 2004 Honda pilot needed a total brake job (pads + calipers + rotors) and Ken came in about $600 lower than another local shop and almost $1k below the dealer. He also used factory replacement/factory-grade parts (like semi-metallic pads) and was done in less than 36 hours.Highly recommended.

I gave them a ring in the morning to ask a couple questions and they were super helpful and told me to stop in whenever Id like! When I pulled up, the gentleman knew exactly who I was (based off the car I told him I had earlier on the phone) and helped me right away. Quick and friendly. Great place with good vibes! I had a tire blowout. I requested a new tire and wheel alignment to balance out my tires. Im not much of a mechanic and just tried to self diagnose. They called and suggested I replace all four and theyd adjust them without having to do the wheel alignment. At the time I was planning on getting new tires anyway, so this was a great deal for me. I got a great price on the tires and they even through in a free fix for my faulty trunk latch. So I left with new tires and a fully functional trunk that I had previously abandoned due to the difficulty of getting the hatch door to shut. Now I can load groceries in my trunk like a modern man!

Ken took the time on the car to properly make sure it was fixed and looked into parts vendors to make sure we got a good deal. Ken is a car guy, if you are particular about your vehicle, or know anything about cars. This is definitely the guy to go to.

Had an issue that I needed to be looked at and resolved quickly, went in and told them up-front I did not know much about cars. Other places would have used that against me and soaked me for a repair or fix I probably didnt need. At A & A, the owner did a quick look, fixed an issue under the hood, took it for a test spin and came back. He filled the air with tires told me what the problem likely was and sent me on my way.
