Water pump blew out on my G37 a week before 2020 Christmas. Needing to drive to family functions for the holidays, I was nervous about finding a place to get this done on time. Jerry is an amazing and honest mechanic! I never knew it was possible to feel happy and reassured leaving an auto repair shop, but I feel that way every time I leave All Tech. Jerry takes the time to explain things and has even showed me what the problem is when my car is up on the jack. I also appreciate that Jerry talks to me, not my boyfriend, since it is my car. Some other places will assume my boyfriend knows about cars or that he is the car owner and only talk to him. This is the only place I take my car, I highly recommend Jerry and his team!

Bought my car a month ago. I brought it to their shop because it needed an a/c recharge. I told them that I smelled something burning. They said that the car needed a new a/c compressor so I paid for them to replace it. They said that that was most likely the reason for the smell. Well I still smelled the burning rubber. I was like ok should I go back? I decided to go to All Tech because the neighborhood FB page reccomended them and it had a higher rating then a lot of shops around me.I am so glad I went to All Tech, Jerry diagnosed the problem within 10 mins of lifting the car. It was BAD... But, Jerry wanted to show me what he found and explained what he wanted to do. I trusted him from the start. So far so good. And he even suggested that I come back in a couple of weeks to check everything was running properly. 4th car Ive owned and dont remember any of my mechanics ever want to check up on the car after it being fixed.Thank You Jerry and team!

This place did a rack and pinion change and a gasket for the motor and took them over 2 weeks for the job and also left the cables loose on the battery had to replace it recently cause that cause the battery too die completely also they dent one of my doors they did a poor job wouldnt never recommend this place to any one the owner Jerry is a complete dishonest person

Alright, this place is legit! Everyone mentions Jerry, and he definitely helped me out. We accidentally put diesel in our car (less than 2 gallons-and dont ask how it happened, not gonna throw anyone under the bus) and our car started sputtering and stalling and we stopped driving right away. We thought it was the spark plugs, which no problem, I can do that. I try to do some small work (rotor, pads, filter changes, etc) on my 2005 Toyota Corolla when I can. Finished the spark plug job while watching a horrible Bears vs Colts game that we lost. And car still acting up. Basically two horrible events that Sunday. The next day we called 6 mechanics around the neighborhood. Jesse gave us the most detailed outline of what had to be done, an estimate, timeline, and pretty much was super nice over the phone. He even gave us a hint to call up our insurance to get it towed and that it may be covered. Sure enough, towing was free (Statefarm)! The car was checked in and 24 hours later and the car runs even better than before!They drained the fuel tank, cleared out the fuel pump, fuel lines and all. And Im sure they did, cause I happen to pass by their later with our other car to run errands. I saw that the car seat (fuel pump) and under the hood were all being worked on.So glad we found this place. Definitely going to be our go to mechanic! Thanks All Tech!

Ive been going to All Tech for several years and Ill never go anywhere else. Fortunately hes in my neighborhood, but if I ever move Ill travel to get there. Everything everyone is raving about is true. Its always kinda tricky as a woman knowing if youre being given the run around or a different price than maybe a man would get. Jerry is so easy to work with, honest, great vibes, explains things thoroughly but simply, will show you exactly what hes seeing (if something is cracked or worn, hell get out the flashlight and show you), and is fast in turn around even though the shop is ALWAYS busy (as it should be since hes earned his stellar reputation). He remembers his customers and is always friendly and smiling. The guys that work with him are equally as welcoming and helpful. He is straight up about what needs to be fixed now, what can wait, and what is totally fine to just let be so you can choose how best to spend your money. Prices are absolutely reasonable and Ive left shocked more than once about how much less it cost than I was expecting. All Tech is the model of how all auto repair shops should be. Jerry...The owner....He is the greatest...Took my Moms car there....after another place told her that her 2003 Honda Civic was basically a lost cause...as the repairs needed...exceeded the value of the car...it was the venting of the gas tank & pollution devices....He found a bad hose that some kind of rodent chewed threw...The diagnostic part was 3hrs....repaired in less 5 minutes....HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My car left me stranded the other day, and I had to it towed to All Tech. This was my first experience with All Tech, and Jerry was very informative and professional. He told me everything that was wrong with the car and exactly how much it would be. He didnt charge me for this. Unfortunately, Im going to junk my car, and I told Jerry this. I asked if it was okay to keep it there overnight until I have it towed again in the morning, and he said it was fine! He didnt even try to charge me, which I thought was nice since I have never been a customer of theirs. I will definitely return to them. WOW, Jerry the owner of this shop is a mechanic by design purpose. He is living out his calling which is working on vehicles. My 2008 Lexus RX350 had lost all power while I was driving on the highway and it was by the grace of God that I am able to write about it. Anyway I had my car towed here and explained to Jerry what had happened and showed Jerry from the google search all the people who had the same problem and took there car to Lexus who told them a piston had fell in the engine and damaged the engine. Jerry did all kind of test and insisted that is was not the engine, Jerry stated the engine is fine but not sure what caused this problem. Jerry was determined to solve this mystery, he must have had my vehicle for about 2 months doing every check and scan and the process of elimination of the problem and one day he called me and said he found out the problem. The problem was the ECM now he was on a hunt to find a ECM that was compatible and programmed all the codes back into the ECM, I could not believe that he had my car running again with no problems. After all the time he spent on my car to fix it, I had to share the wonderful news with the world. If you have a problem with your car please take it to the BEST MECHANIC in the CHICAGO area. Jerry was super busy but because I had what seemed like a very serious (and inconvenient) issue (I couldnt reverse which meant parking in Chicago was almost impossible) he invited me to come in so he could check out my 2005 Chevy Malibu. He diagnosed and fixed the issue immediately - there was simply a missing bolt from getting a part replaced at Jiffy Lube - apparently they didnt tighten the bolts properly. He put in a placeholder bolt that he had and advised me on getting the actual part - the tire caliper - replaced under warranty at the Jiffy Lube I had been to since it had been damaged after the bolt fell out. He didnt charge me for his time (or the bolt) and even invited me back to get it checked out after Jiffy Lube replaces the part.I dont expect free service or suggest that you will get free service - but Jerry was very kind to go out of his way to help me out in my hour of need and I got a very positive vibe from him and his shop. Ive been driving for 15 years, Ive been to dealerships and shops both in Chicago and California, and Ive never been satisfied with or trusting of the service ANYWHERE! Ive even had small freebie repairs done before at different shops, but because of the level of service, the positive and genuine vibe I got, and the other 5-star reviews on Yelp, I feel comfortable and confident committing to take my car to All Tech from here on out for anything I ever need.If I receive anything less than 5-star service in the future then I will update this review, but so far so good!Thank you Jerry!
