Do NOT go here. I called to ask how much it would be to install a serpentine belt. The lady on the phone kept telling me they would need to inspect the vehicle to insure that was the repair that would be needed and they would have to call me back. It’s not rocket science to see a worn belt, they are shady.

I used them to repair the catalytic converter that had been stolen from my vehicle. I found them to be exceptionally honest and professional.I will definitely be keeping them in mind for my future automotive repair needs.

This is the 3rd time I have brought my car in to Parkview for repairs. So I was satisfied in the past when I was working with Sam. This time I was working with someone named Damian. It it was a very different experience. I took my car in on a Monday and was told that someone would call me later that day or the next day. Never heard from anyone. On the third day I had to call them and still no answers as to what the problem was with my car. Finally I was able to get answers on Thursday that week and I still had to call them. Very poor communication. On top of that, after I picked up my car on Friday that week, I noticed it had new scratches and a dent on the left rear side. I am certain that it was not there when I left my car there to be fixed. When I asked about it I was just brushed off and told that it was already there. No apology, no admitting that it happened there. I question their integrity now and will never take my car there again. So disappointed.

Elias and the rest of the staff at Parkview are phenomenal! I’m new to the Chicago area and was looking for a new mechanic and I can promise I won’t be going anywhere else. They are very professional, extremely quick, and super friendly. There was a small mistake in repairing my windshield but Elias was extremely quick to fix it and compensate me. I absolutely loved the work they did to my car and will without a doubt be returning!

This place was awesome. I had taken my car to 3 different shops and all of them did not take the time to do what this shop did. The code my car was reading previously to coming here was power module control. Nobody else took the time to break that code apart they were just trying to get me to spend 900 bucks on something that wasn’t the issue. My car eventually got worse I took it here and Sam found out exactly what was wrong and I didn’t spend an arm and a leg on it. Sam even showed me what was wrong with the part he took off my car. He was honest and got my car back to me in a timely manner. My car hasn’t driven this good in 9 months.Thanks Sam!

Ive been a costumer of Parkview Automotive Repair for over 25 yrs and have been satisfied every single time. Ive taken my vehicles for large and little repairs. They are very affordable and I have never been cheated or overcharged. They always call before any work is done to go over what repairs are needed and to let me know the price so I am not shocked. I have also recommended many friends and they too have been greatly pleased with work done for them. They do good work on your car, I can vouch for that. But, I wont be returning here because of these following reasons. They did extra things to my car then charged me for it even though the additional fixes wasnt related to the fix I was getting, my biggest gripe is that they didnt even have enough decency to call me and inform me about the issues before they fixed them, So in total its a good shop mechanic wise but bad ethics in my personal opinion.

This is a very professional shop. I used them the first time when my truck was rear ended, they made my truck look like nothing happened! Today I got new brakes and rotors, they fixed my broken door mirror, they also did a free safety inspection since I was going on a road trip, I will be coming back for more work. Very fine work and such great customer service.

Parkview Automotive and all of the workers there are very nice and courteous. They stand on their promises regarding estimated times for repair. They kept me informed with updates and the work performed was fantastic. As a matter of fact, I think my car runs a little better than before it started malfunctioning. The price was reasonable. Although I did not have all of the money upfront, they offer alternate ways to pay through either through their credit card or easy pay financing. So all in all, they do great work and make it affordable with flexible ways to pay for repairs.

Ive used Parkview in the past for bodywork. They do a professional job. They back up their work and they also do alignments and other mechanical work. A full service shop with great people and great prices. Miguel is one of the personnel that will make your experience a great one.

I initially went to Parkview about 5 years ago. My water pump on my Toyota Avalon went out, and AAA towed me there. They replaced the pump, and corrected a problem that I was gavi g that another mechanic couldnt figure out. Parkview prices are reasonable, and thay dont make you pay for what you dont need. The guys there are friendly, and they try to work with you. Being a woman, I know that when it comes to cars, men try to take advantage of women. I can say I do my homework., and I can see that they have been honest with me. You wont be disappointed if you choose them!

On my way to the Auto Show from the suburbs with 6 other guys in my van I lost both brake lines going to the master cylinder. No brakes at all and in the fast lane going 60 on I-55. Praise God the bus lane was empty. I was able with the help of a Chicago Police Officer to move to the right hand side of the road and parked. I called several (maybe 10) towing services and all where to busy. I then called Parkview Auto Repair and spoke with a very helpful man named Miguel Sanchez. He said they would send a tow truck and be able to repair while we went to the Auto Show. Within a 1/2 hour they where there and towing my van to their shop. After the show I called and they told me of the repairs. I picked up van and everything is working good. What a great testimony for a shop to help someone broke down and out of town. Thanks again Miguel and Parkview Staff for your help and repairing my van at a reasonable price.

This is the best body shop on Western Blvd. and in Chicago I think ! They restored my 2018 Honda Crv after a bad accident. They worked with my insurance to get my truck fixed the right way. The Employees here are very professional and very knowledgeable, they helped me to get into a rental, they settled the tow bill at the tow yard, and they treated me very well, I highly recommend this body shop to anyone that wants to get good service and repairs that are of very high quality. One more thing they did finance my deductible since it was $1000.00 they have various financing options. I will be back here and will send my friends and family.

This shop has been around for a very long time! They know what they are doing, prices are fair. They give warranty on all repairs and really care about the customer. I would like to share that this auto shop is one of the best Ive experienced. My SUV broke down on the Dan Ryan and this shop provided me with transportation to my hotel in the city and also were able to get some major work on my vehicle in 24 hours. The were very professional, reasonable in cost and tremendously helpful. Im hopeful that I will not have car problems in the Chicago area anytime soon, but if I do, I will DEFINITELY use Parkview.

Not a bad place to get work done on your car and at reasonably fair price but I went in for transmission service and waited 4 hours until they were done. The guy who I was talking to about the service told me that there would only be up to a 2.5 hour wait. I dont like to bring race into it but by me being a black man I noticed a white man came in after me for whatever service he was getting done and they got him in and out in 2 hours while I still was waiting on a simple transmission service. Other than that this is a very respectable business.

Good customer service. Im not a mechanic, but they are straight talkers and seem to deliver a good value. If they suggest doing something while theyre in there, theyre not going to double bill you hours like shadier shops might try to do.

Very professional shop. They do fleet maintenance for our business and Ive also brought my personal vehicle to them. They always give me a range of options (what it needs, what it could use, etc.) and fully explain all the work that needs to be done and why. Good place.

This shop wanted to hold my vehicle for 16.00 after I paid more than3000.00 dollars in work they did on my vehicle after get my vehicle back i had to take it back to these guy a least 2 to 3 time. my vehicle runned better before they worked on it so dont take your vehicle to this shop an if you are African-American please dont go to this shop they will jack up the price believe me I know will never going there again. Im giving them a negative 5 stars they dont deserved to be rated!

Per recommendation of a driver delivering at my facility i drove the company van for maintenance.Costumer service at glance, friendly and courteous.Great technical expertise .Pick up the vehicle a day later just like they said, no down time.

Ive been here a couple times for an oil change and once to change my timing belt. I like these guys. I think they are completely competent, trustworthy, and they do a good job. One of the guys who works behind the front desk (Miguel I think) is particularly accommodating and will take you back to the shop to show you what they are doing. They do not try to push unneeded repairs on you, they just do what is necessary. During holidays, they give away calendars and keyrings. It seems like a nice, honest family business, which is why I like them so much.

Took my car in for ignition problem. But it was the key, so I had the key made which cost me $300 and it worked. But this is the kicker I had a automatic starter that they didnt reprogram to the key so my car would started with the remote. Took it back to them they wanted to charge me another $200 for another key and reprogram the automatic starter because they said that it take two key to reprogram the module. When I put the automatic starter on I had one key. So I took it back to where I purchased the alarm and the charge me $45 to reprogram the module. So be careful of taking your car there.

The guys were able to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem and fix it the same day without charging me a fortune. They have earned my business and my trust.

Excellent Service!

This was my first non-Toyota service experience in the 11 years since Ive owned my RAV4. AAA recommended this shop. I took my car in for 5k interval maintenance service and inspection for recommendations. After 2 1/2 hours of waiting I was informed of recommendations. No service had been performed during this time! From the recommendations two additional services were elected - replace tire rod and air filter. Almost three more hours later I was told my car was ready. Upon starting, there was a strong rumbling vibration and noise! The tire pressure light was also on. I reported the issues and after another 1/2 hour I drove my vehicle away with no intention of ever returning. My sun visor was also bent and dirty but Ill suck it up as a loss and lesson learned. While there, the few times I inquired about my car I was told it was almost ready. I would have been more understanding if they kept me informed along the way of any issues that would prolong the time of these basic services.

I’ve found that the mechanics here are very professional while interacting with the customers and the handling, and working on my vehicle.

Our car is paid off and we did the dumb decision of removing full coverage, got in an accident and damaged the front right side of the car. We looked in the area we live in for convenience of being able to get back home easily. My husband went to about 6 or 7 places and was most impressed with the detail printout of parkview and overall chat we had with an employee on going over what needed to be done. The estimate at the time came out to 3100 and they said it would take about a week. We took our car and was told after taking it apart that the total will now be 4700 due to some other things coming up, needless to say we were shocked at the drastic jump. My husband dealings were all with Miguel, not sure his position. Anyway, he assured us car will be in great shape after the work done to it yada -yada. 1 week later and no car, they need more time all along its us calling them to get updates not the other way around. We keep getting promised it will be the next day and then that comes and nothing. We go about a week an a half to check out our car and notice the alignment is off, we tell them and they said they need more time. We are almost at the 2 week point and Miguel offers a 45 dollar credit for inconvenience. Finally after 1 week and 6 days and us hounding them for our car they tell us its ready. We pick it up and miguel tells us a abs sensor is out and it will be about 200-300 dollars plus dollars to fix or they can see if they can get a used one. At this point we are livid. How is it our fault this wasnt caught by them?? He gives us excuses and is not apologetic at all. Horrible customer service! Our feeling now is we dont want anymore services by this place and say well take it like that with the sensor out. Initial check of the car seems good but upon trying to open passenger door from the inside it wont open, the horn doesnt work, wind shield wiper fluid doesnt work and theres a rattle noise when you hit a bump. We call Miguel and he says to bring it in to fix. Now at this point after all this you would think they would have shame, be super apologetic and even maybe offer to fix that sensor they never caught or at a discount but NOPE! It was more of an annoyance we were back even though they messed up. Everything was fixed except for rattle, they blamed that on shocks. It wasnt hundreds of dollars I was spending it was thousands out of my pocket.. not insurance. They kept my car way longer than they promised and didnt care that they did. They do not care about their clients or are they an honest company to work with. I would not trust this place with my car again or would I ever recommend them to anyone. I will also be writing to the better business bureau.

They are really good did my car in like 30mins my engine light was on, on my 2014 lt Malibu eco I work nights so imagine going in thinking your going to be sitting forever. They didnt try to over price me because I was a woman like the last shop did, they charged me $1800!!! And didnt know what was wrong and said they need to open my engine.....Parkview charged me $408 with 10% off first time customer 😁 Miguel was really helpful!!! He made me not worry and they were really kind. I will be going back in about 2 wks to get something else did. It felt so good to spend money with honest people.

Got charged 90$ to open hood to put battery back then when i denied their sevice on oil change and coil replacement they threw my engine back together so fast that they didnt connect my turbo hose and i got stranded 4 blocks away from their shop called and asked why my car was running worse than ever and he told me that my car wasnt running when i brought it in. But all i wanted them to do was open my hood so i could put my battery back (the reason my car wasnt running) would not recommend them to any one maybe you have to be Hispanic to get good service

Pricing was fair. Came to this shop after having an alley mechanic do damage to my vehicle. Had to come back after a radiator replacement and they took care of the problem. Had a personal mechanic tell me its not how they treat you when you 1st come its how they treat you when you come back. They took care of the problem right away.
