My visit to North Shore Auto Rebuilders was excellent. A little background story: I got hit in the back of my C Class and was on a hunt to find a certified Mercedes body shop to repair the car. I visited one shop near Glencoe and to say the least it wasn’t even in the slightest the same experience. North Shore was incredible from the moment I called to request their service to the moment I left their garage. A special thank you to Amanda and Guillermo for there incredible effort to assist me when I needed help the most. Now my car looks like it’s brand new and I couldn’t have been more satisfied.

I am meticulous when it comes to my cars. Ive had a couple Porsches but recently bought a toy that needed a little exterior TLC, grills, trim, paint etc. I cannot say enough good things about these guys! Steve was straightforward from the beginning and went above and beyond to get it looking brand new! Having dealt with a number of shops over the years for various things, hands down best experience I have had. I would recommend them 10x over.

Absolutely amazing customer service. My car actually (luckily) broke down and wouldn’t start. I happened to be parked right outside North Shore and ran in and asked for a jump if they could. I ended up running into the owner himself, Steve, who not only happily said he would help but he also brought out one of his mechanics, Matt, to take a look and assist. The jump wasn’t working from a small charger so they brought out a big one and scrubbed away some corrosion on my battery bolts. After 15 min of awesome service they figured out I just needed a new battery bolt, ordered the part, took down my info, got my car started and told me to come back tomorrow and they would put on the new part. I was ecstatic. They did such a good job my car actually started the next day and I was able to get to the shop for the replacement piece after a friendly call from Amanda letting me know it was in. It took all of 10 min to fix and now my car starts easily with no problem. Thank you eternally to Steve, Amanda, and Matt who saved me from asking random people to jump my car and from dropping $110 on a new battery. Fantastic place and people!

Hands down the best customer experience since I can remember! My Porsche Cayenne Turbo was damaged in an accident caused by another driver. Live in Indiana without any Porsche certified repair shops nearby. I first attempted to work with another repair shop in Westmont, IL but found they were not interested in the job due to the insurance company involved.Upon researching Porsche certified repair shops in Chicago, I came across North Shore Auto Rebuilders. Gave them a call and Steve was immediately helpful to put me at ease ensuring me he would deal directly with the so-called difficult insurance company. After sending Steve some photos by phone he generated an estimate to my insurance company which was quickly approved. Steve arranged for my vehicle to be towed at no expense to me from Indiana to the repair shop in Chicago.Once my vehicle was in their shop, they were able to provide a Porsche loaner which I drove to Chicago and picked up. Office and garage are very clean and organized above standard for a body shop, all high end cars here. Asked for a tour of the shop and to see the work being done to my vehicle. Team was very down to earth and Steve in particular kept in constant communication and made this stressful situation quite easy to deal with. Once my vehicle was repaired, they transported it to Loeber Porsche for safety calibration and brought it back to their shop once complete.Repairs ended up being a bit more than originally estimated due to damage that could not be seen until parts were removed but I never had to talk to the insurance company once the car was there, North Shore handled everything. Zero out of pocket for me and my car honestly came back in better condition than it was in before it was wrecked. These people are top notch, incredibly easy to work with, will go the extra mile for you and take some stress off your shoulders! One last thing, while my vehicle was on the rack I asked if they could send my wheels out to have them refinished for me, had some curb rash I wanted to pay to repair. They did this and some other special requests of mine without hesitation.Not sure if I will ever get to work with these fine people again but, they will be my go2 auto body repair for life. They earn their 5 star rating by being hospitable, honest and doing above quality work! If you have a high end vehicle dont waste your time looking anywhere else like I did. Their reviews are legit. Thanks to the North Shore team for standing out in times like today where we just need some kind and professional interaction and to actually get what you expect without having to fight for it!

This is arguably one of the best body shops in the city. Importantly, while they are not the cheapest, I always found their pricing to be fair, especially given the quality of work that they do. I was referred to them because they are known for working on Porsches and other foreign exotics, but they are just as experienced with all other makes and models. I have had to get some minor body work done on my 2017 Camaro ZL1 and they have always done an amazing job and Steve has been a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Although it was a tedious repair job, they were able to get it done in the same day. I have been looking for a new repair garage, and now I have a good one to return too!

Is there any other way to say it, other than.. FANTISSIMO !!! I dont know how NSAR does it, but they gave my super Mercedes a factory finish. When an ill informed driver made a sudden stop for someone on the side walk, there was an audible gasp by everyone in the vicinity. They, too, couldnt believe their eyes. Mercedes said theres only one place to go and, my, were they right !Steve, ever so pleasant, is the 4th generation patron of a high-tech, super professional organization. They restored the car in record time, and MetLife were pleasantly cooperative throughout.Im lucky to have my car back in one piece, with no on going drama; the other driver, I presume, still cant find a sudden stop he can resist.

Here is my story.After having my car damaged over the winter time, I called Geico and told them about it. Mike who was very helpful that works for Geico came out to North Shore and reviewed the damage with taking pictures., I was not sure if they would be able to get my car back to the way it looked with the damage that happened to my car, but. After 4 to 5 days of work, I went back to pick it up and look over the damage that was fixed to the front of my car and was very happy to see that the car was like new again.
