Ive been coming to Landspeed for years and am always satisfied with their work. My most recent visit was due to the recent windstorm on the northside which caused a tree branch to shatter my rear windshield and strip some paint off the car. As always, I called Landspeed and got a quote for the damage. They fixed the damage for a reasonable price, and my car looks good as new! I trust these guys completely, and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an auto mechanic in the Chicago area.

Had transmission done last year was stuck in Chicago an had them fix transmission so I could get back to Indiana ever since leaks now won’t even go you would think after 2800 dollars things would be better repairs be aware an half time while was being worked on kept getting run around pretty much got taken for 2800 one positive thing daughter got see Chicago. HONEST, QUICK, AND PRICED RIGHT!!!I needed new brakes. I thought it would possibly be front and rear. Based on past experiences at other shops I was expecting a $400+ job.When I got to the shop John came out to me, and took a quick look at my brakes. He quickly assessed that my front brakes needed new pads & rotors which had me thinking $$$.He made a quick phone call to a supplier, and quoted $240 for my car! Thats a great price for that kind of work! I was so relived that I asked him to add an oil change in the process.I took it in at 10am, he said hed have it done by 1:30pm. Sure enough, he called me at 1:30 all ready to go!PS: He could have told me the rear brakes were bad too, but he was honest. He told me they have at least another six months before needing knew pads!THANKS!!!!

Love this place! I originally brought my car here for light body repair since my car got side-swept. I remembered how attentive and helpful Faisal was with this and I brought my car here recently for having issues starting.His staff was super helpful and responsive and worked with my extended protection plan to make sure any work they did could be covered. My biggest balance in life is my time with work and outside of work and they were oftentimes available to speak through text, which was a huge time-saver for me! Ive definitely been recommending this place!The prices are super reasonable and the turn around time is great!

Amazing service, this is the only shop I will go to in Chicago! Whenever I have had an issue with my car I can always bring it in right away with a quick turn around time. His prices are always much lower than other shops. I highly recommend!

Ive used Landspeed on several occasions, and highly recommend them as a trustworthy, skilled, and reasonably priced auto repair shop. I initially used them for body work from an insurance claim, then used them a few other times for mechanical repairs. Each time, the work has been punctual, on estimate, and quality work. The business owner, Faisal, is pleasant to deal with, and the location is convenient next to the Brown Line. So you dont get loaner cars and free breakfast and lounges like you do at the dealer, but you dont get dealer prices and BS either.

Update 2: Went to a real shop and they changed my front pads. They told me the ones I had on were original manufacturer pads and that they were never changed (gave me my pads as proof). So apparently Landspeed never changed my front pads, not only are they a scam but also frauds. I call in to speak to the owner and am told hes away for a month and half. BBB and Chicago Consumer Protection will probably have an easier time getting hold of the owner.Update: This place is a bait, switch and scam. Great deal on brake pads but they put the cheapest pads on. 20,000 miles later and my pads are gone. Good luck trying to get them to explain their warranty in detail. Avoid this place.

If I could give Landspeed Auto a -5 stars I would! We trusted these guys, and they took advantage of our patience and kindness...A custom paint job that was supposed to be done in under two weeks turned into a nighmare that lasted a little over a month. Unfortunately, the work was NOT worth the wait. The lower part of the car appears to have painted in the dark. The very day we brought the vehicle home it started to peel. The moldings started to come off. It was as if the car was put back together by a child! The manager Abraham offered a $700 check partial refund to take the vehicle somewhere else to fix the mess they made. To our dismay, they couldnt even be honest in the refund because....THE CHECK BOUNCED!Unfortunately, we may have to handle this matter legally...Its no wonder their rating is a big fat F with the Better Business Bureau! Shame on you Landspeed Auto!

Great work! We were visiting family in the city and our alternator went out. Landspeed was the only place who could see us on a Sunday. They had the work done in about 2 hours and we were able to be on our way home again. So happy with their service and willingness to help us out.

Good repair, bad communication. I have been trying to get a hold of these guys for a copy of my itemized receipt for nearly 2 months for a repair done in October. Phones are disconnected or the VM box is full. Very frustrating for what should be a very easy thing to do!

I was looking for a mechanic to take a look at my car which just wasnt running right, especially the brakes. I called around and got a good impression after taking on the phone with these guys so I brought my car in for a full diagnostic. I urgently needed my car repaired. The website says to make an appointment by calling or filling out a questionnaire online. I called twice on two different days and it went to voicemail. I left a message including all of my contact info and never got a response. I ALSO filled out a questionnaire online to make an appointment and still never got a response. It has been about 3 weeks and I still have heard nothing.

Excellent shop in every way. Fixed my brakes and went out of their way to explain what needed repairing and why and what parts they would use and exactly what the cost would be. Why doesnt everyone else do business this way?

Ive been having lots of problems with my brakes but not all the time and in different driving situations, sometimes when it was raining sometimes not. Sometimes on the Kennedy going the speed limit, sometimes during bumper to bumper traffic, nothing that I could identify as the cause of the problem and it just reached the point where I no longer felt comfortable driving. A guy from work I talk with all the time said to bring it to these guys so I did. I havent had any problems since I got the car back on the Wednesday after Labor Day so this turned out to be a great recommendation since it looks like they did a great job. Deserving of this review for overall work, customer service, and price.

John is a great technician. He has worked on my Audi for 3 years now and save me hundreds and probably thousands over taking it to the dealership. He has done everything from oil changes and battery replacement to a timing chain replacement, never with any issues. I would highly recommend him.

These guys are a scam. After received the parcel, they will simply dispute your PayPal transaction under the pretense of Did not receive item, forcing you to return the money. They have no heart or soul helping other stealing money from hard working people!! And they know this is going on!!! I highly recommend that you do not ship anything to these people.

Hey, heres a auto repair shop thats just great! The guys know what theyre doing and its obvious they want to do the best work possible. My friend Nick recommended this place to me after they fixed his brakes so when I needed work done on my check engine light problem I went here. Glad I did. They fixed the problem and they charged me less than I guessed they would. Ill be recommending them now too. Landspeed Auto behind the north side of the Irving Park Brown Line station on Ravenswood.

This dump of a body shop has a rating of 4.8 on yelp???? HOW. Please scroll thru all the 1 star reviews and read all the customer testimonials. I trusted them with my car, have been ripped off, up charged on services that were not even performed. Just like the other reviews, everything is fine and dandy when he is taking your money ( close to two thousand dollars worth of work). When the car broke down couple days later you get to see the real John. Will not answer my phone calls, will rudely hang up on you and wants nothing to do with you. He will tell you blankly its not his problem any more. Unbelievable.

Needed brake job on my 2015 Nissan Versa. I happened to be obly 10 minutes away. Called & owner answered and gave me price within 2 minutes after asking what was my car. Great price. Included labor as well. Best part also....he had pads in stock! No waiting time. Where will you find tgat? I gave him 5 stars for having fresh brewed coffee as well as nice atmosphere entry. Tv even. Nice young guy with alot of knowledge fixing alot of antique cars for owners is a great sign he is good and knows what he is doing. Please give him your car to fix. Do NOT trust this place. I purchased a remote start from them to be installed was told Id receive a call when it came in I never did. I had to call multiple times. I was informed it would take 30 minutes -hour to install but on my appointment day they they took over 3 hours and never completed the work. They wanted to keep my car over the weekend and I refused. There was no communication and they didnt want to process a refund. I finally called and talked to one of the workers and they promised a refund and never refunded it. They are con artists. Avoid them at all costs.Ive Also attached my invoice as evidence of our deal. Since he claims he hasnt done it for 5 years. Nothing but lies from this company.AVOID at ALL costs

Wish I could give zero stars.. Had an appointment at 10.. sat and waited at this abandoned establishment until 10:45.. No show... very unprofessional! I drove into the city from Arlington Heights just to get my car repaired at Landspeed Auto. That alone shows what I think of this place. They are awesome!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! The worst service ever! First of all the manager lied me all the time, did not pick up the phone, pretending the shop is closed, took my car to a differrnt location even without asking me. I was able to contact him only through the insurance agent! I call - voicemail, insurance calls in 2 minutes and i get connected with the manager! SHAME!!! Then he missed the deadline several times, AFTER WE FIXED THE DATE WITH INSURANCE AGENT - I COME TO PICK UP THE CAR AND THE STORE IS CLOSED!! AFTER I CALL INSURANCE THEY OPEN THE STORE IN 5 MINUTES AND MY CAR ISNT THERE!!!!! What am i supposed to think, that its stolen??? and in the end did not repair my car properly, IT WAS EVEN PAINTED IN DIFFERENT SHADE, EVERYONE AT MY WORK NOTICED IT! I went 2 years ago and had good service when the owner was there, but the last time I went to get a diagnostic on my Jetta since it was burning oil, they charged me 90$ for checking my car 15 mins and they said there wasn’t an issue.

Stay away from this place, the other reviews about this place being a scam is fully accurate.

Ive had John (Faisal) perform multiplemajor and minor jobs for me over the last couple years. He performs honest work at a fair price and I continue to go to to Landspeed for upgrades, maintenance, and general advice.

Customer service is zero !!!! I wanted to do a rear brake pad change only, the price he gave in Groupon was a discounted $79. I decided to check it out first before buying it. Drove 20 miles met Faisal and told him I wanted only the rear brake pad changed cos I just changed the rotors, he insisted I changed the 2 rotors again with a bill of $288. The high bill wasnt the problem but He was so rude about it. He asked if I was the mechanic and he said I could take my car somewhere else for all he cares. I took my car and despite his insolence I thanked him, he had no courtesy to reply, he just walked away.If I am wrong about his attitude - check his replies to other people. I took my car somewhere else and they said I only needed to change the brake pads. Beware of his Groupon prices.

I got flat tire today and I went to this shop which was closest to me. When I came there was just only one person Faisal. So he did his job very slow, he fixed my tire and he didnt check pressure in another tires and just put too much air in my tire. So now I have different pressure in my tires. And its so funny he charged me for 22$ with taxes. FOR TIRE. 22$! Thats sucks! The worst shop what I ever visited. I used to pay for the same thing (with professional people and great service) 5$ plus tip on North Ave and 10$ on halsted stSo this shop is too expensive or I think this guy just lied to me about the price.

I bought a Groupon to have the car detailed. The guy upsells me, saying that the Groupon wont get me much and it will be much more thorough with the upgrade. After I got the car back, I checked the trunk and it wasnt even touched. How do you detail a car with an upsell mind you and just completley miss a whole section of the car. Spend your money somewhere else.

Extremely rude and dishonest he would NOT honor Groupon he told my husband that he would need another parts and he hadnt even looked at the car he was still behide the desk he could tell by looking tbrough the window. He said to my husband if you dont have the money dont come here and this was after I purchased the Groupon that he presented . My husband called him the day I brought the Groupon to see if there would be other charges he said if there is it would be no more then $25 extra with the Groupon...I am.not impressed by his attitude and I do be reporting him to the BBB I have made a formal complaint to Groupon and have asked that his business be removed due to dishonesty and he was about to physically fight my husband, I am tempted to make a crimal report on this man as well..... even his picture above isnt how this place look... and to the owner dont even bother replying any excuse you have will be weak just like your skills

An auto repair shop run the way an auto repair shop should be run. Brought in my Audi R8 after it was rear ended with extensive damage. Fortunately, no one was hurt. I was given an estimate and approximate time it would take to fix the car and I couldnt believe that the estimate and the time were pretty much on the money. The guy that I dealt with was Faisal and based on my experience hes the guy to see.

Dishonest & not upstanding! Canceled my service after ruining hundreds of dollars of property and justified this by saying he wasnt receiving payment for the hours of work it took to destroy it so were even...WTH!? To add insult to injury, he also admitted he was canceling my service because he wanted to avoid negative feedback from surfacing online. How wrong is this?! I called the police to intervene in the injustice and they responded that there was nothing they could do because the dispute is considered a civil matter and I would have to take up this issue in court. Thankfully, I was made whole for the products he ruined, but the experience itself was so undeserving and a complete waste of time spent over several failed visits. Furthermore, I refuse to be robbed of my right to leave feedback and already contacted the corporate entity that brought me this business for restitution and will continue to submit my truthful feedback in every forum I can find.Beware and patronize elsewhere...

I purchased a Groupon. Scheduled an appointment, pulled in and they looked st my car for 5 seconds and told me it was an extra $60 for pet hair. I drove a friends dog once, its not like it was covered in hair. Clearly its a scam to get people in their shop and then make more money on them.
