Crash Champions went above and beyond to fix my car after my catalytic converter was stolen while in Chicago last month. My car was my home on a road trip, and having it be in the shop for several days was a big fear I had. I would have had no where to sleep, and I was planning to move on that day to a new place. They fixed the car same day for me even though I just dropped in, and made the entire experience absolutely painless. Great energy there with awesome customer service. Everyone who worked there was helpful and knowledgeable and did everything they could to work with me! I’ve had no car issues and have not had to go back since they fixed everything. It could have been so much worse logistically, and I’m so thankful for this really positive experience out of what could have been even more unfortunate than having something stolen from your car. I had my car serviced for repairs twice and also detailed here. Jason was able to have my car ready 3 days after drop off. I was so happy with the repairs- definitely my go to body shop. They were also was able to schedule me a rental vehicle while my car was in. Super satisfied and will definitely continue to recommend them.

Crash Champions did an excellent job fixing a small dent over the driver side rear wheel. There was this odd color mismatch in a small section but that turned out to be some adhesive residue and Moses cleaned it off with some polish in under a minute. After that, the paint looked great! As others have mentioned, they have excellent customer service at this location. A bonus was that they can work directly with State Farm.

Customer service feels like a top priority as soon as you walk through the door, everyone is friendly and everyone wants to make sure you are informed and up to date on your vehicles repairs. A very quick turn around with quality work makes this place a go to, hopefully I won’t have to return in the future for further repairs but this will be definitely be my first choice if I must.

Didn’t know what to expect from the shop came in for my appointment for my appointment front desk secretary was kind and very professional she had called for my rental got to meet nate greeted me asked me how I was doing very professional asked me let’s take a look at what type of damages my vehicle has gave me an estimate how long the car should be in the shop took down my email on my phone number said he will keep in contact with me with any updates on my vehicle right after I I dropped it off Saturday calls me telling me then my vehicle is going to be done the following week Friday the communication was good he updated me during the week letting me know that the parts are in for my vehicle and they’re working on it it’s all coming up Thursday afternoon I get a call saying my vehicle is ready to get picked up at 4:30 today crash champions worked a miracle delivering my vehicle a day before vehicle look perfect like nothing ever happened I was very pleased with their work I just want to thank everyone at crash champions that was involved on fixing my vehicle from front desk secretary to ordering parts and taking apart the damage parts on my vehicle you guys are awesome I had an awesome experience with you guys I wanna give a big shout out to the paint Department they did a amazing job on painting my car it was unrecognizable like if it wasn’t damage I rate you guys five stars you guys are awesome keep up the good work crash champions

This is my 3rd time using this body shop (Previously Albany Auto Body) over the years and they are a class act. Jason and his team were upfront and honest from the start, managing my expectations in terms of timeline, cost, and results, and are always trying to help keep the out-of-pocket cost down as much as possible - while maintaining quality. I know I can trust them to do amazing work and to be honest. Communication was top-notch as I was updated as to the progress on a daily basis via texts and phone calls. Barb at the front desk is wonderful and kind. She has a relationship with the rental car place and was able to handle everything so I didnt have to stay on the phone with them forever. She even helped me get a certain type of rental car that I needed as a caretaker to my elderly mother and ensure it was covered by the insurance. Everyone was invested in the results to the point of calling me when there was a software issue (with my collision system) that required some extra adjustments, to them needing some extra time to make sure my car was impeccable, spotless, and sparkling clean when I picked it up. I was fine with the extra time rather than having a car turned over to me that had an issue. They are committed to perfection and also very careful about Covid safety and sanitation. I feel like I just drove a new car off the lot. I hope I dont have to see them again for a while, but I would send all my friends, family, and neighbors to this body shop again and again. In a world that seems to have lost the art of customer service, Crash Champions - Albany Auto has remembered and internalized the importance! They get my 5 stars and my referrals!

They did a fantastic job with the repair. A big storm pushed a large waste dumpster over the front driver side wheel panel. It took them exactly a week and they handled all the communication with my insurance. They also left the interior of the car cleaner than I had left it. They are in the network of preferred vendors for progressive insurance.

As a single woman, I always fear when I need to have work done on my car. Ive had people treat me poorly, assume I am stupid, try to overcharge me, etc. This place is different. Jason and his team are so professional, communicative, and efficient. They replaced my broken mirror quickly and completely. They even made recommendations about another, separate issue. I wish I could give 4.9. The only reason its not 5 is because after my initial consultation, I had to call them a few days later for the quote. They told they simply forgot to send it to me. I really appreciated their honesty and they more than made up for it with their exemplary service.I had to get a side mirror completely replaced. They were always helpful and courteous and honest. They provided a quote for a brand new mirror and an aftermarket one. They recommended the aftermarket one, which was cheaper, because they promised they could make it look like new. They were right. They were able to make the replaced mirror look just like the new one.Definitely check out Crash Champions for any body work.

Ive been taking my car here for years--for body repair and general maintenance. Theyre honest, do great work, and charge very reasonably. Most recently, they replaced an unrepairable rim that a pothole ruined. They went out of their way to find a reconditioned OEM rim at a good price. Ive never had any reason to bring my car anywhere else.

I have taken my car here once before and I was beyond impressed with their professionalism and service. I had a faulty wheel bearing, plus I needed new brakes on my rear wheels. Albany Auto was up front with me about what they were doing, and even proactively called me during the repair process when an issue came up (trouble with the alignment, not their fault at all). Everyone I interacted with was friendly and informative, and was more than happy to answer my many questions. I cannot recommend Albany Auto highly enough, and I will absolutely be bringing my car here for repairs in the future.

I got in a terrible wreck just up the street from Albany. They heard the crash and came running out to assist.I dont want to gush too much about how amazing they were, but they were amazingly helpful, supportive and did fantastic work. They did everything they could to save my car and after $12,000 of damage (covered by insurance), they fixed up my car, good as new! I am so grateful to Albany and they have a customer for life!

Rear quarter-panel repair and repaint was very high quality for a fair price and job was done in the time frame quoted. They also specialize in vintage cars of all makes. Few shops have their level of appreciation for the automobile experience.

Nate is so helpful! I brought my 2003 Land Cruiser in for a sanity check re: some structural welding she needed due to a rusted bracket. While Albany wasnt able to tackle the job at the time, Nate added real value by double checking that my vehicle wasnt part of a Toyota frame recall and also wrote down some service intervals I need to be aware of... he spent 15 minutes with me and the vehicle and I appreciated his help and transparency.

I had a minor bump in the parking lot and my bumper popped out and I took it to them because in the past they have be insanely honest, helpful and knowledgeable. Long story short they solved my problem! If there is anything I can share with you about them is that they have never overcharged me. In fact I felt like I needed to pay them more. Trust me Im cheap and I am OCD so this is a big deal. Rest safe knowing that they would never charge you a penny more than they should. Where in Gods Earth can you say that nowadays? I have taken my car there multiple of times and got the fastest and best quality care for my car.

The place on the northside for anything car related. My windshield wiper on my driver side suddenly stopped working. They got me in right away and fixed it with no issues. It was just loose so they tightened it up and they threw in a new set of wipers! They are honest, it’s very clean and professional. Good honest people who know their craft. I have had old Bessie in their hospital twice. Once for body work, and the others for repairs. New to the area and was missing my mechanic of 20 years when I found this crew. My first visit the staff was working on care packages for the homeless. Their lot is filled with classic cars pampered with TLC. My jeep had been attacked by a truck and all my new neighbors saw the damage. All of them recommended Albany. Know I know why. Work was done satisfactorily at the lowest possible price. I am in no hurry but definitely will be back.

These folks do their job just the way it ought to be done everywhere and then go beyond it. They were very communicative throughout my repair job and made sure I knew what was happening. Driving around downtown Chicago for 15 years, really takes a toll on a car with the way people park on top of you on the street or in narrow parking lots. Small scrapes and scratches on doors and bumpers, now all gone, and the car is looking great because I took it to Albany Auto. They were affordable, professional, and did great work.
