I don’t want to be rude but this is why retail is dead. Everyone working hates their lives and their jobs. Nobody was helpful nobody was capable, when we finally flagged someone down after 15 minutes of attempting to steal for attention, the salesperson told us what we wanted was out of stock :-) I get that times are tough and that it’s illogical to keep a fully staffed store but literally any one employee interested in customers that have come to spend large chunks of money would result in a better experience for all!

I ordered a Apple Watch for curbside pick up and had to wait for 10 minutes. No one still didn’t come out so I had to go inside. When I went in I handed him my receipt for my pickup and told them no one came out for my curbside pickup. He took the receipt and took another 10/15 minutes because he thought the receipt was not legit. I’m very disappointed with their service and felt discriminated. Never again❗️

I upgraded my cell phone Friday 10/15/21. Erin the salesman explained that I was eligible for an upgrade on my i phone. He then said there is a promotion going on and I would receive $800 for a trade in through Verizon. He verified the promotion with 3 other employees and told me I could just drop off my old cell phone at a Verizon store and they would give me the trade in value with the Best Buy promotion. The 1,100 i Phone 13 Pro would only cost me $300.The next day, I called Verizon on Clark and the saleswoman said I could only drop my old cell phone off at a corporate store. I then told her about my new phone and the promotion I received from Best Buy and she said that there is no current $800 promotion and I should go back to Best Buy because what they told and sold me is incorrect. I returned to Best Buy and spoke with Marco the store manager on Saturday. I explained that I paid 1,100 for my new phone and there was NO promotion on my account according to Verizon. Marco said, Verizon is telling me incorrect information and the promotion is still running. I asked him to please show me the promotion I received and he and a sales rep printed out the promotion for me. Marco quickly read part of the paper with the promotion and pointed to my my older i Phone XS and said, the promotion is correct and I just need to drop off my old iPhone at Verizon down the street; talking fast and brushing me away.When I got into my car I reread the paperwork and in the first paragraph, last line it states, the promotion is for QUALIFIED NEW LINE ACTIVATION FOR VERIZON. I went back into the store waiting over 20 minutes to speak with Marcos again. While waiting I asked Denise to read the first paragraph about the promotion and explain what that means. Denise said you get a $800 with a new line of service.Finally Marcos was free. He seemed shocked to see me again. I asked him to read the first paragraph out loud to me and explain it. He read it slowly and then stopped before the last sentence. I asked him to please continue to finish the sentence and he mumbled the words, The PROMOTION IS FOR QUALIFIED NEW LINE ACTIVATION FOR VERIZON. I then asked him, What does a new line activation mean to you? He said, it means you need to open a new line. I then said, I upgraded my phone last night not opened a new line. He did not do anything to help or fix the situation even though I was completely mislead.He said you can get the promotion for that as well. He was flat out lying. I asked him to write that on my paperwork and he said he couldnt. He never once apologized or admitted to his error/falsifying information. I never qualified for a promotion and I ended up spending $1,100 on a phone that I was told was on promotion. Marcos being the store manager and acting extremely confident about his knowledge of promotions completely lied to my face and did nothing to remedy the situation besides tell me to go to VERIZON. I do hope this situation will be rectified.

Great experience purchasing screen protectors for iPad and iPhone. The Best Buy rep installed the screen protectors perfectly, and the iPhone version comes with a lifetime warranty. Super useful. The store was also pleasant and relaxing, very enjoyable visit.

I headed to customer for assistance and I am told they dont have enough staff. I run for the exit already upset. Manager is chatting and walking around but cant pitch in 😃

Chicago, IL. Im impressed. Today, Brandon displayed an incredible amount of knowledge, patience and sensitivity. I stopped by this morning March 26, 2021 because I bought a laptop which was delivered yesterday and when setting up and suddenly there was an issue with it😫 I was extremely worried and pretty devastated🥺cause it was my 1st brand new laptop ever😩 The young lady customer service associate (didnt catch her name).. working at Best Buy @ Bedford Park, was AWESOME!!😇 She provided friendly efficient service 🙌 and was able to find me another laptop at a different location!! I was so very grateful she listened to my laptop issue, offered couple options and was able to find me another laptop cause I was freaking out about it.. I mean,,, brand new laptop ever and it cost me a pretty penny. Thankfully everything worked out great thanks to the young lady and her great customer service!🙌Thank you so very much!!🙏😇

You can walk into the same Best Buy multiple times and your experience can be different depending on who helps you that day. Go to Best Buy on 1000 W North Ave and ask for Gino. Finding someone to assist me was almost like working. At times I walked around for over 5 minutes without seeing so much as one service person. Add to that, the items I was interested in werent displayed so I had no frame of reference to make an informed decision. When I did come across a salesperson he was uninformed about the product info I needed. The one saving grace was the Geek Squad section, who attended to me immediately and was very helpful with the info I requested. In the end though I left empty handed and kind of disappointed.

Went to Best Buy for a laptop. I looked around for about 10 minutes and no one offered me any help. I deliberately went to a brick and mortar store for help instead of shopping online because I know very little about computers. I also figured I would get a AT & T cell phone. I looked at the phones for another 5-7 minutes and still no offer of help. I even tried to stop an employee for help as well with no success. The only thing I got out of the visit was what size laptop screen I want.I ordered a phone on line and I called Dell and bought a laptop. If you want to see what you want to buy in person before going online to get it this is the place to go.

I went in for an exchange. The person that helped me locate my item was nice, fast, and the efficient. The cashier however was not personable, no communication skills, and seemed to want to rush me out of there. The check out experience is just as vital as the experience on the sales floor, if not even more. This was definitely a deal breaker and wont be going back. Ill stick to my local store in bucktown.

Did my research, went in, got what I wanted, all was pretty stress free and speedy, except they asked whole bunch of personal information at the check out. Now, I am getting pretty much an email from them every other day! I have unsubscribed now, but an option to let customer choose if they want to be in the marketing list at the check out would be preferred. I am just glad that I left my email and not my husbands.. It would totally ruin the Christmas surprise.

This review is for my experience with Ashton in home appliances. My husband and I walked in to look at vacuums as our joint holiday gift to each other. He walked us through several cordless options and even demoed how to clean the filters and work the attachments. Above and beyond. Someone walking by even stopped to watch him demo because he was so knowledgable it was exciting.Doesn’t stop there for ole Ashton. We found the vacuum we liked but it wasn’t available in store and therefore we wouldn’t have it to “unwrap on Christmas.” He upgraded our shipping for free so we have it in time. $40 shipping upgrade for free.It’s easy to forget about places like Best Buy when Amazon is so readily available but you just can’t replicate the kindness and customer service you get in person. NEVER buy certified the manager told me he doesnt really know what that means and most of their products work great but if there are issues Best Buy will NOT stand by them, they direct you to the manufacture. Next time I will buy directly from the manufacturer to begin with. Beginning to think Best Buy intentionally sells used products as certified like new just to be able to charge customers more. TERRIBLE service, that does NOT stand by their products or sales.

Best Buy is my candy store, and I appreciate being able to browse without being interrupted excessively. I was able to pick up the items I ordered online order within 5 minutes of getting in the store pickup line. The store is laid out well, Many popular electronic brands have their own designated sections making it easy to find specific products and accessories. Lastly. I found that the North Ave store had many, open box specials tucked away in various sections of the store. Best buy always offers great deals on products that have been opened, and this Best Buy had quite a few deals on display.

This Best Buy location has been my go to place to buy electronics and video games for my whole life. This place has pretty much everything you can ask for. They have everything from small accessories and toys to super powerful gaming PCs and everything in between. The people who work there are also very nice and helpful. One of the employees I had seen and talked to before remembered me much later and we had a nice talk about games and about PCs. The guy was very relatable and very fun to talk to. If you need anything electronic from games, movies, computers, phones, and anything I forgot, this place is certainly a must-visit.

Ive used the Verizon store for years to handle my cell phone upgrades. I decided to try Best Buy this year. Im so glad I did. Pete, their mobile department supervisor was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He went above and beyond to help me pick the right phone and accessories and made my transition to a knew phone both pleasant and fun. HORRIBLE CURBSIDE PICKUP. They make you wait in their regular parking lot and then signal you to come in front of the store. How are we suppose to know where to be if they don’t have any signs!? Plus, they do not even have signs of 6 ft for people to stand. People were all close to each other and they wouldn’t tell them anything. To top things off, they put a sign up after the fact they noticed they had to walk up to a car to give out the orders. What an experience.

I’ve stopped here several times and recently I bought a car receiver for my car since they had free installation at the time. I got the receiver and then scheduled a time for installation. When I arrived for the installation, it got done right and I am happy with the entire store.They have plenty of parking, a lot of cool products and a nice showroom.Walking around the store I was offered help and that to me will keep me here.
