Awesome antique mall! Two stories, lots of antique furniture and trinkets, all in great condition. Items aren’t overpriced and there’s a lot of great history for sale here!I specifically wanted to highlight the staff at this location. You see, I had left my wallet somewhere amongst the treasure trove of items in the store. Two employees walked around the store with me to help me find it. They were extremely kind and helpful.
Extraordinary determination of collectible/vintage furniture notwithstanding an abundance of other wonderful segments - garments, cameras, typewriters, Chicago explicit stuff, film banners, and so forth Costs are likewise lovely sensible for the kinds of collectibles youre finding there. Profoundly propose looking at it in case youre a fanatic of antiquing!
Prices are absolutely absurd. Everything is overpriced. Good selection on records and old furniture and clothes, but awful prices on all collectibles. Called if they had any Hot Wheels and they said “we don’t have a ton but we have a couple” me having experienced that “a couple” means 1 or 2 booths have hot wheels. (That’s just what I’ve experienced in my antique hunting). Show up and ask again, this time “ooooh that’s a tough one” showed me a booth with 1 TUPPERWARE TUB WITH LESS THAN 20 HOT WHEELS FROM THE 2010s FOR FIVE FREAKING DOLLARS EACH!!!! NOT EVEN IN THE PACKAGE! They were in terrible condition. Immediately left. Will never go back. stay away from this place unless you wanna see some horrid prices.😡 I’m sorry for ranting but they need to adjust the prices. Badly.
I love this place! I always find great items, and I always spend too much! The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Great spot for a true antique vintage kinda person, no new shabby chic chairs with cute sayings..just old stuff
Im not an antique fan, but I went here with a friend who was and it was really cool to walk around the store. They have a ranging and great selection. A lot of stuff was pricy for me, but Im sure reasonable for anybody else who understands the value of antiques.
Great selection of antique/vintage furniture in addition to a wealth of other awesome sections - clothes, cameras, typewriters, Chicago specific stuff, movie posters, etc. Prices are also pretty reasonable for the types of antiques youre finding there. Highly suggest checking it out if youre a fan of antiquing!
Great place with lots of stuff. Everything is in good shape, well organized and displayed nicely. Dont forget to stop by upstairs, its like time traveling into the 50s!
Its just the best cool place to look and see neat Antiques
Always a great time spent shopping the great treasures in this 2floor market
We can find some Great Finds here
Great selection but over priced.
Cool stuff
I had a question about the age and value of a table and chairs. I called and sent a photo and within minutes had all my answers!! The service here is outstanding!! Can’t recommend them enough!
If you love mid-20th century furniture and accessories like I do, youll love Broadway Antique Market. Im going back to purchase a floor lamp and wall art.
Cool place lots to see but really high prices on some things that dont deserve it
Beautiful things. I wish I had more money.
I have a thing for the 50s and they definitely obliged. So many decades to choose from.
We cut short our visit as Cathy reminded us ever so politely at 5.40 that we need to rush as the place was going to close by 7....not sure if how we looked had any role to play... considering most trinkets were in locked cabinets, we had no choice but to ask for help to check out the prices and rates...it obviously was much trouble for her to show us the pieces, considering she had evening plans to go to....overall, it was abundantly clear she didnt care we were there as customers....
Love love love!!!....Surprises with every turn. Will definitely visit again
Very cool shop.
Lots of cool stuff but some pretty obnoxious prices and even MORE obnoxious staff!
Great selection. Good mix of organizing by type of item and the fun of just browsing around. Furniture selection upstairs is very impressive.
One of my favorite places to shop in the whole city. So many items from every decade. It feels like stepping into a gigantic time capsule.
They have a great selection of furniture and accessories. Good prices. The staff is always friendly and helpful
I love going in here. But I just cant buy anything.. way too overpriced. They just need to come down a little bit. But they have great stuff. Also, the people working are very unfriendly and seem annoyed when ringing you up for a purchase.
Nice and different
I really enjoyed looking around here! It reminds me of a ln antique market back home I liked going to. Very spacious and lots of interesting pieces to look at. I bought a 1950s pink poodle to go in my room from here. Ill definitely be back!!:)
Love it. I found this place worth going out of the way for. On a trip to the Chicago area, the L was my only transportation option. I saw that a station was near this place, so I made a point to ride the train specifically to visit this place.I was not disappointed. It is a good size place and it took a while to look around. For me, I found this place to have a larger than normal selection of retro items from the 50s-60s-70s.... very cool.
Exquisitely crafted collection of objects.
Broadway Antiques always has outstanding items in their store and a friendly face to greet you. I recently purchased a mid-century couch from them. I was pressed for time with the moving truck and they went out of their way to help me get in and out quickly. They processed the payment over the phone, opened 15 minutes early, and had the couch up front and waiting for me. They even gave me a 10% discount. I couldnt be more pleased with the couch and the service at Broadway Antiques.
It has very nice items. Will buy something on occasion. Staff is really friendly. Its nice, just to look around at all the nice things they have.
In from New York for two days and I had to stop by a couple of antique stores. B.A.M. is a good market for those who are looking for furniture and vintage home decor. Amazing collection of vintage and designer jewelry too. They know what they have and with its worth, so with that said there are no major bargains, but it is one stop shopping for those looking for furnish or update a pad. the style curator
A very diverse of collection of antiques including great pieces of mid century modern furniture. The owners of the store were just darling.
Two large floors of all kinds of antique and vintage goods. Great posters & other memorabilia. Bought vintage jewelry for wife. Friendly & knowledgeable staff.
Great place take a trip to the past browsing the two floors of their cool vintage collection. There are many real treasures here if you know what youre looking for.
Great selection, super friendly customer service, overall a great stop. Some dealers do price a little high, but most are very fair.
The selection is vast and of good quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are just on the north side of reasonable.
This is the coolest store you will ever see
Two levels of vintage items for everyone! The top floor is stocked with furniture (mostly 1950s-1970s) and house decor. The main level features dealer-specific kiosks. Some are well curated (all posters and postcards) and some are just a mess (dishes, clothes, books) but its worth combing through for unique treasures. Considering that everything is previously owned I think some of it is a bit overpriced but theyre open to negotiations, just remember to bring cash for a better discount.
Decent sized place with lots of good stuff. Prices are better than most places in the area, but its still pricey. The place is two floors so it could take a while to go through if you have the time.
Lots to look at and fairly good prices on some items.
Nice place to shop to find that unique piece you are looking for have diffrent booths and z great selection on many items
Excellent mid century products at a reasonable price
Lots of cool stuff, but way too pricey
This is a great place to visit on a Saturday afternoon. Their selection of antiques are amazing. I purchased a few items from there that I later found out that they were worth much more!
A great place to shop for other peoples junk.
Tons of great stuff, well-organized, bright, clean, a huge range of items, friendly staff!
It had a fantastic collection of artifacts, art, textiles. The place is totally decorated in a antique way…any collection we look at is adorable. Really a very good place to visit.
Lots of mid century
Best collection and prices that I know of in the city for antique furniture. They have a huge collection of chachkies and decorative junk too if youre into that! Antique and custom made jewelry too.
So much great stuff, youll be in there a while.
Great selection and a lot of it a reasonable prices
This place is huge! It must take up something like half a block and it has two levels! Broadway Antique Market has lots of old furniture like dining tables, sofas and chairs, as well as ornaments and clothing like hats and coats. Stepping into this place also feels like stepping back into time.Unfortunately, this place does not have a lot of old signs or lights, and some of the items do look a little worse for wear. Also, some of the items can be rather pricey, for example I saw wooden building blocks for kids priced at $2 per block. Now, that can add up pretty quickly!
So many really neat things from the last 100 years. Just loaded with history. Fair prices too!
Great place,Classics
Cozy, with all kinds of things: Clothes, decor, furniture, mysterious kitchen utensils. The staff are also nice and chatty if you want, but will also just leave you alone to shop unless you talk to them first.
Always something new and wonderful here!
So many lovely things! I could spend all day in there looking at everything.
Great place, lots of Vintage items and fair prices
Nice mix, higher end antiques
A little pricey, but a really nice and diverse range of items; all in great quality.
A lot of vintage stuff and some true antiques, a great place to just browse
Interesting finds, if you want to change up your decor this is a good place if your looking for something specific.
Lovely place where there is something for everyone
Very good vintage and collectables. Fun shopping
Awesome collection of oddities, prices can be a bit high
Always a fun place to walk around, but can be tough to find good deals thatll last and/or be useful in your home.
Great place to shop! Friendly knowledgeable staff!
Great selection. Snarky knowledge staff.
One of the absolute best antique malls in the city of Chicago. The merchandise is always fresh and displayed impeccably. BAM has a reputation for amazing Mid Century and they do not disappoint. If they dont have it, make sure to let them know what you are looking for and theres a good chance they will find it. Edgewater is great for vintage shopping and BAM started it all on the north side. Now there are many shops around them and vintage things to do. Perfect to make a day of it!
Broadway Antique Market is the best place to buy furnitures, home decors. They have a great collection of antique pieces which is really adorable:):)
Have a good selection of antiques from furniture, clothing, jewelry, odd & ends, and more! Theres almost something for everyones price range!!
Lots of cute stuff, definitely would check it out.
Great shop. Huge selection of awesome furniture too.
The best and most interesting shop of its kind
Great place to browse. Big selection.
Small but a nice place to find blasts from the past
Eclectic collectiom of mostly midcentury modern
Truly amazing place!
Oohs and aahs at every turn. A little expensive, but still fair prices.
Grate product at good prices
Very good things
Beautiful items, very costly.
Great place to find treasure.
Great place tons of selection.
A lot of selection and and a variety of different items.
Top notch vintage
Mid-century Goldmine
Wonderful browsing place.
Great art deco pieces
The place is pretty great but the vendors overpriced their wares.
Nice place to find treasures!!!
I have to admit Im biased, we found my engagement ring here. 😊 Since then weve purchased a sofa, an old Jewish cookbook from 1947 and too many little odds and ends to count. Theres so much to look at, the vintage clothing alone is worth it.
My happy place!
A gem! Dont forget to shop the second level.
Its a passage to the past...like going to a museum!
