COPD started out to be wonderful. The past six months have been crazy horrible. My concentrator broke. They replaced it with a “brand new machine.” The large filter in the machine was full of black mold. It was awful. The billing is questionable. It is impossible to talk to most people. I am not sure I would recommend them.

My dad is on home hospice, and he needed a humidifier to put on the concentrator that we got from my mother in law, Our nurse was in contact with them, letting them know what was needed. Long story short, they never called my mom, we stopped to pick up what we needed. Went in and talked to Chris (who we found out is the owner) and I don’t know the problem between COPD and our home hospice, and don’t care, he was so rude to my mom and I, he told us that because he didn’t sell us the concentrator they couldn’t service it. I said that hospice would pay it and he told us that he can’t service it, and he couldn’t come to house because we live so far out…in Hillsdale…20 miles out. We had to fight to even get the humidifier that cost 17.49 from him. We were going to order a replacement battery for 525.00 also, but not now. We are giving our business to Lincare. Chris had my mom in tears, because he was so rude, don’t even care about the cost of what we bought, but you cannot treat someone that way. If I could give negative stars I would, COPD does not deserve even the 1 they got. I would run as far away from this business I could, they do not care about their customers.

Im not sure who is managing COPD anymore but they are going down hill in my book. Ive been a customer for several years and up until a year or so the customer service was exceptional. Now when you call someone has to call you back. It could be the same day or a couple days later. Doesnt work for me anymore. Question their billing as well. Im no longer a customer of COPD and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone

Steve, Shawna and Shannon were the best to work with through replacing my 8 year old CPAP machine after moving back to Cheyenne from Oregon. I had a trusted DME provider there and I found a great one here! Every step of the way they communicated with me what the next steps were, worked patiently through the pre-authorization process and delivered just the product I needed. Steves teaching on use of the new machine was thorough and excellent! Having worked in healthcare for 43 years, I have high expectations of my providers and the staff at COPD Respiratory met all of them, even going above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone seeking high quality respiratory or sleep medicare care and support.

Grandmother’s o2 concentrator went out at about 11am today. Work around these things all the time at a LTC facility. Tried to troubleshoot.Called. A James answered. I explained my regards to a downed concentrator. Literally all the man said was “ok?”. Thought I had the wrong number because of how unprofessional, uninviting and dead ended his responses were to what is an emergency on my end. Said that he’d be by at 5pm because driving from the North to South side was lengthy. Mind you, this is at 12pm. I tried to explain that my grandma is supposed to be on 4-5 continuous and that her current portable has the option of 2 continuous lpm or up to 5 pulse lmp. I also expressed concern that she is on dialysis and the function of her respiratory system is not something I wanted to mess with.Don’t even get me started on trying to keep up with obtaining clean supplies like tubing for a woman who is constantly dealing with respiratory illness.

I can see why the one star review. Cant even get a call back. Will be picking up my equipment tomorrow. Have left 4 messages to try and find out whats going on. Another night without my machine, could have thrown it in the garbage and had a new one delivered by now from the company that manufactures them. Not one of the respiratory companies in Cheyenne is worth the powder it would take to blow them to kingdom come.
