Way over priced they dont ask what you want does what they want

I didn’t look at the reviews of this place before I went here, or else I wouldn’t have gone here, but I received good, friendly service. I was able to get in right away and get the work done, the price was a bit higher than I would normally expect to pay for labor but because it minimized my down time I didn’t mind to pay it.The one thing I didn’t care for was that the tech started working on the equipment before he told me what was wrong and he never quoted me a price, I had to ask him what he was doing because he didn’t say anything because he wasn’t doing what I brought the equipment in for, granted my equipment needed the work he was doing, I just would have appreciated a heads up.Truthfully, Overall was a good experience even though while reading these reviews in the office it really made me nervous that I was going to get shafted but thankfully I wasn’t.

Called because i was in a bind and needed some batteries. They didnt have anytime available which is understandable. Then i asked if i could buy 4 from them and yhey wouldnt sell me any over the counter said i had to have the truck there. Very poor customer service if i could give no stars i would.

The work that was done was ok. But they over charge by $200-$300. Vary said to charge $220 for a part that is $28. Let that sink in.

The boy at this shop charged me $226 to replace 2 clearance lights on my trailer with a attaude. ( not a nice boy!)

This place is a joke. No wonder their shop stays empty. The employees attitude and respect is the worse Ive ever seen.

Everybody here get me a good job one of the mechanics as a little boy he came out and talked with me its a great family place I had $5,000 worth of work done and it was worth every penny they did exactly what they said they would do they did not try to charge me anything more they did not try to sell me anything I didnt need everybody was great its a wonderful shop they come highly recommended

I dont know why there is so many 1 star review, we are trucking company and we did couple trailer repairs at this shop and this was pretty quick and cheap. So from my experience I did not had any issue with them and will use this shop if I will need service for sure. 5 stars!

Was parked in the Flying J parking lot facing the Blue Beacon and needed my turbo calibrated. Called the day before and was quoted @ $300 for the job. Next morning I go in and talk to the guy behind the counter. Suddenly its $250 for a road call and $140hr minimum 2 hrs. The quote was $550 and it had to be cash or tcheck NO CREDIT CARDS! I was shocked $250 road call fee for a job 250 feet from their shop and all that was required was their laptop no actual manual labor. I was heading to the bank begrudgingly when I saw Grabers Diesel off the highway. I pulled over and gave them a call. They ended up sending a truck from their other location and it still cost $120 less than these guys. In my book there is nothing worse than taking advantage of out of town people who are in a bind! I wasnt looking for a handout but this was abusive!

AVOID at all costs. better alternatives nearby. Bad people, shoddy work. Scammers. Tried to charge 8x factory retail for a non oem wheel hub assembly. Had oem part shipped directly to them from manufacturer instead... for 1/8 their price. This did not sit well with them. Demanded cash payment after hours on the weekend with no recourse. Brett manager and Kent mechanic were extremely difficult, unprofessional and ultimately did very poor work. Their repair broke down within 100 miles due to overtorque/load on the install of bearings and failure to install a retention nut on spindle... basic, basic stuff and dangerously sloppy oversights. My family is in the diesel repair business. Ive grown up around good shops. This is NOT one. Avoid this shop!

Be aware!!! On the phone a rude guy quoted $350 out the door job one hour down time. Guess what took them 3.5+ hours, I can understand that, sometimes it takes more time than would you like but the bill ended up being of $560. Really???

I went in to get a PM, differential oil changed, and a tire replaced on my trailer. Initially I was asked what I was paying with, and I told them a debit card. Later they asked me if I had EFS, T-Check, or Com Check. I told them no and asked why. They said their credit card machine had been giving them problems, and that they werent sure if they would be able to process the payment. I asked for an estimate of the total and suggested I could go to the ATM at the Flying J to get cash. When they came back with an almost $900 quote, I told them I wasnt comfortable pulling that much out of the ATM, and that I would get nailed with several ATM charges by doing that. The tech went and talked to his boss, and then came back and said they were willing to do a portion cash and a portion card. At this point I knew something was fishy, so I asked why we couldnt just do all card? The tech went and talked to his boss again, and then came back saying we were all good to use my card for the full amount. I told them to forget it and that Ill go get work done elsewhere. I dont appreciate being lied to about the card reader not working. The tech told me that recently theyve had a bunch of customers dispute the charges, and that theyre just trying to avoid that. Regardless of whether thats the case, or that theyre just trying to avoid the service fee they pay for credit processing, being lied to definitely doesnt make me want to give you my money. If youre comfortable lying to me right out of the gate, how can I trust you with my truck?

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP AT ALL, SCAMERS AND DONT KNOW WHAT THEY DOING.RIDGE EQUIPMENT CO, INCI came yesterday to that shop at 12:43am 06/01/2020 to change a spare tire on my trailer, so it took him 45 min to sprayed 🔩 with W40 and then finally he came to me and told me that I need to cut 4 🔩 and he can make new one and its cost me 375 $. I said no, then the guy who work on my trailer told me that i have to pay 66$, I ask him why do I have to pay if you not done your job. He said I use my time and can W40, so I pay them and go to TA 15 miles that guys on the TA amazing people work there change my tire for 45 min and charge me only 48$.So the SCAMERS call RIDGE EQUIPMENT CO, INC in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Pulled up to change hub cap on trailer.(hub was fine just needed to change the gasket)Mechanic came out to take a look, yeah no problem..we can do it. How much? $300. What the ****??!No thank you, Im not stupid. Flipped a U turn outta there.

Ridge Equipment did a fabulous job with my horse trailer. They went over and above, checked everything, packed the bearings and checked more things than I even thought about. Their price was very reasonable and I am taking my trailer there annually.

This shop is big NO. Go across the street at GRABERS.Quoted me $3500 to replace Radiator.Got it done for $2600 at Grabers.This place was trying to keep markup of $500 on radiator. And they have policy if you bring own parts it will be $250 extra. Like WTH.

Some of the most unintelligent people I have ever worked with. Been to this shop twice in a couple weeks time, both times received horrible service.

Went there for brake pads and new rotor on my steering axle. Was quoted $2968. Left and went to Petro ta for $600

We pay $45 for an ABS sensor in our shop. We were charged $169.99. To get a copy of the invoice has been extremely difficult. I was, at first, thinking great wed found someone to help us close to the Port of Entry at Cheyenne. Will not let any of our fleet of 150 trucks go to this shop again.

Been there 2 years ago and recently I thought I would give another try. The price they give is by far not the out the door price. I was quoted $329 for a oil change, then I asked out the door price tax and everything. They pulled out a price of paper And did multiple equations. I started to laugh. He said $450 ish. Big difference from original quote for a general oil change. Same scenario 2 years earlier on steer brakes. Not saying work is bad but I am saying there system is to mislead on cost. Would rather drive to Denver for good, honest service.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went there. My review is no different from all the others. Like.... it must be one of the worst places I have been to. The people there were nice to me though. Prices inflated and a repaired thing..... well.... it still needs repairing . If you think dealers are expensive, Dealer is 1/2 price compared to this. Maybe less.

The work they performed was okay but the cost was astronomical! Very high labor rate, and high markup on parts. I should have read the reviews before going there.

I just wanted to let everyone know these guys are ripping people off. Im a truck driver I came in to get my air dyer repaired . They changed few parts and it was still not working even after all that the charged me $850.00 even when they didnt fix the problem. I also wanted to let u know when I asked him what was coast for a new air dyer cost me they told $2,500 with labor. They also dont accept credit card cash only. I went to a different shop I got my problem fix for $540 out the door. These guy are ripping you guys off please dont get your truck repair from this guys they are just ripping u guys off.

If I could rate honestly -I would choose -1 star. Rude people with big prices. We called for road service Sunday early morning when its freezing outside. Got ETA 1h to arrive. When they never showed up after 2h I called back and asked ETA. Was told that they not gonna do road service, they only can tow truck to shop. People who dont know how to run this kind of business.

Sold a used tire that was patched, that should of never been patched in the first place. Cost $425.00. It was on July 4th so Ill give them credit for being open on a holiday. Wont let you into shop area to see tire that is being put on. Called them on it was rude and told me if I would of brought it back to them he would of patched it again. Will never do business there again. My suggestion is dont waste your time on stopping at this business

Kent and his crew went over and above what I had asked them. They provided speedy service, and very knowledgeable of the task. I will definitely come back if I have to.

I called ahead to get a tractor lube done. When I arrived they said $70 to lube the tractor!!! Outrageous! When he saw my disgust at the price, he came down to $50 - Which is still by far the highest price I’ve ever been quoted for this service.I told him not to bother and walked out.

Bunch of crooks, it costed us $2100 for them to re-hang a trailer door . I had 2 new doors installed somewhere else including labor and material for $1500 and these clowns charge 2100 to hang an existing door.

Had them change my oil,,forgot to tighten the plug. Claims it is their procedure to torque the plug,, except they skip that part. And they claim no wrong doing.

Didnt get any work done there. Was resetting at the Flying J beside it. We went for a walk. Happened to walk into the driveway. Was going to look at the old Vovlo for sale. Was warned we were trespassing on private property. Told to leave.As far as I am concerned. With that type of attitude towards potential customers. They should put a fence up around the place. No enterance or exit gates required. After reading the reviews, the sooner the better.By the way Ridge Equipment. In that few seconds We where there. You lost 2 potential customers both owner Ops., With multiple trucks and lots of OTR. friends. Not good for your business.

STAY AWAY from these guys. This company is a joke. The coupling air line for the trailer was leaking air. They replaced the fitting. Job done in 5 minutes and they charged a $165. Almost $15 shop supply, in top of $ 20 for the fitting? Are you kidding me? I hope they will go out of business soon. Go there if you have a lot of money to waste.

Update : DO NOT USE THIS SHOP !!!!after this post we where banned from the property. While our truck was still in the shop . Got a call saying the truck was ready . We left the motel walked to the shop, as we where walking up to the shop door . A man came barging out said you two are not allowed on the property . Wait on flying j property and we will bring the truck to the road . So we stood on the property of flying j watched and recorded as two men hooked up the trailer and proceeded to drive it onto the public road way . Parked it in the middle of the road and got out.Rude and inconsiderate . The shop is open 24 hours . Needed a fuel pump replaced . Got towed to the shop december the 10th at 10 pm- ish . Had the parts the morning of the 11th . Here it is 5:30 pm . The semi barely been touched . The guys are in there working on their personal vehicle . My husband has been over twice to check on progress . Each time was asked what do you want .and dont worry about it. Just go back to the motel.Big Als highly recommended this shop . Since the tow driver and his company gave awesome customer service . I took his recommendation. I really should have checked out these reviews .

I guess i have to select at least one star.....After a 9 hr service call of Replacing batteries that did not need to be replaced. Mechanic finally diagnosed the truck as needing a starter.WASTE OF MONEY!

Super high priced, had a heater hose leaking from engine side, replaced hose $880.00good news is they can get you in quick and fixed, just ask for the Vaseline on the way in to get lubed up for when you get your bill. It may not hurt as bad.

I went there on 11/12/15 to ask, if they could replace 2 tires on my flat bad. I had 2 spare tires with me to replace. They did it, but the price was a little over what I expected. More for $25/ per tire then some other pleces could charge to do the labor. Shop was empty all the time I spent overthere. (almost 4 hours to replace 2 tires and get an oil change. )Be aware of 4% credit or debit card charge if you use a card. Be aware of some little charges here and there. If I see the price for an oil change Id like to be it final plus TAX, no like oh, we have to add $12 for disposal fee, and some shop supply... I dont like that way. There is a lot to say..... Stay away from this place. I wish I would read reviews here first before I go. Good luck everyone!

Felt like I had been raped! $429.00 to repair a mudflap hangar by welding, 300 miles later mudflap had torn in half - $48.00 to replace it - they refused to help pay for it! Another 600 miles their weld broke and it cost another $60.00 to have it done right. Who in the world claims to be a welder and uses brazing rod to weld steel plates together? They do!

If possible would give zero star review came in for possible turbo. guy said 120/hr came in the guy hooks up computer says actuator is bad without even looking at turbo. tried to charge me $700 for a actuator 1500 for turbo ended up paying 300 for computer hook up, what takes 1/2h maybe, these guys will rob you blind. cheaper will be if take truck to dealer, Stay away from this place.

$214.94 to replace the oil filter and 2 gallons of oil. Told me the filter was 30 dollars ended up being 69.99 for 1 oil filter. Screw this place. They are useless should have gone to the dealership and paid half the price.

Worst place ever, owner has no manners what so ever, was entering there facility to do some work on my trailer and accidentally missed the entrance, guy runs out starts yelling and cursing at me for entering his property thinking I was trying to do a Uturn, if you don’t wanna get yelled at or cursed at find a different place cause they will screw you over if they don’t like you.
