Its a great place and service is great. Its a ture hardware store. They have just about anything you need to fix a persons house.

I needed a specific size of lumber for the repair I was working on at the time. They cut the lumber to size for free! They were also the lowest price in town for that lumber...big box stores were 40% higher. I always price my jobs. Even the tools I needed were 20% less than the big box stores. I highly recommend this team who will work for your business and get what you need. I was a newer customer but sold on their many years of knowledge, customer service, and competitive prices.

I own Popular Priced Fencing LLC and these guys are amazing. They are priced just as good as the big box retailers and the customer service is phenomenal. I highly recommend this company.

Their computers went down as I was at the checkout counter.. The employee that was helping me said to me dont worry, Ill just do it the old fashioned way then he reached into a drawer and pulled out a receipt book and wrote my order by hand. I was out of there in less than 5 minutes.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable service at Capital lumber. This family owned business has been around for 3 of the Heimsoth family generations, and the experience shows. The hardware, lumber, and staff is top notch. I went there for the first time 4 years ago for some materials and I havent been to a Lowes, Home Depot, or Menards since, they just cant compare with the quality and service at Capital Lumber.

Very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring staff. If you want to make sure you are doing your project right, ask them!
