I went into this business to purchase a dining table and chairs as I have just returned from living out of the country fir ten years and needed to furnish a home. I found a beautiful table with chairs in the back “sale room”. I went to the front of the store to ask the woman working there if it would be possible to get the set delivered. She assured me that it would not be a problem because her boss’s husband did the deliveries. I told her that I would be in touch because I didn’t have a place yet. I paid for the table, told her I would let her know when I had a home and would be moving in and left with my receipt.I went back in today to let her know that I now had an apartment and they could deliver the set any time. She (the woman I bought the table from!!) informed me that delivery was no longer available. She said I had told her that I would be able to have it delivered the day I purchased it or the next day. That was a complete lie! Obviously, without an address I could not take delivery of furniture on either of those days, so why would I have told her that. Now, she says delivery is no longer available. Also, when I requested a refund of the purchase because I didn’t have a way of getting it to my home, she refused. So, if zero stars was an option, I would have selected that!! Some of the worst customer service I have ever received. Lying and trying to convince me that i I said things when I did not. No way to handle your customers “Our Place”!!!
Absolutely love this store, always new items, antiques, and rustic decor.
An absolute gem of a store. The owner and her husband were delightful. We were not sure if the item would fit in our car, no problem a tape measure was provided. We could even put the item in our vehicle before paying to make sure it fit. Now that is service!!! We will definitely be going back as I could easily have bought half of the items in the store!!! A wonderful array of decor, holiday items and furniture. A little treasure to find on a day out to Cheyenne, WY.
Happened on this store waiting on barts to open.. found out he required masks to shop( the reason we left fort Collins without spending a dime).. the lady was very polite and spend alot of time wheeling and dealing with us!! When we were finishing paying a lsrge dum of money she directed us to the eclectic elephant, that lady was also very helpful and making money gor her vendors.. spent several hundred dollars there slso.. all because neither of them required a mask. we will return to these 2 places on our next buying trip!!
Our Place has a wide variety of antiques. Including great reasonably priced furniture. The owners are knowledgeable about their products and always willing to work with you. If you are looking for a license plate, chances are they will have what you want with a huge selection throughout the store. I also appreciate the fact that if they dont have something, they dont mind pointing you towards other antique stores in Cheyenne. Friendly store with great products... you cant beat that!
I cant speak to what they have in the store unfortunately. I called at 1pm to verify the hours since its a holiday and was told they were open until 3. We arrived at 1:45 and the lights were off and the place locked up. This was fairly annoying as we made a detour into town just to stop at this store and woke up our children to go in.
Small place but lots of neat stuff. Disappointed that they would not barter on the prices as they seemed quite high.
