Nice big store with lots of selections of beer wine and spirits. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are great..

These guys really were wise guys, but not in a good way. They do not hold up the values of the great state of Indiana. Launches my Id back at me and nearly cut my ear.

When the once in a lifetime chance happens that they dont have what you are looking for, the staff is very helpful and found things close to what I was looking for!

Was passing through town and my friend recommended I stop in at Wise Guys. Coming out of city of Wise Guys I am glad I made the stop. Found the bottle that I was looking for and also had a conversation with the manager, very good guy. Great selection and great people. Highly recommend a visit when you are in the area.

I am from out of town and went to check out their beer selection. They have a wide selection of alcohol, but i was a little disappointed that about 95% of the local beers were IPAs. Cant really blame them for that. Just wish I could have picked out something other than an IPA.

Great variety! I visit often. Most everyone there is polite and friendly except for the manager. The one who does the ordering. Dont ever ask him when hes going to get something in. He is never nice. So besides him, its a nice place. Great wine selection. Most items priced higher than other liquor stores in town. But it is the largest, cleanest and newest liquor store in town.

I have a medical exemption letter from my specialist not being able to wear a mask. There was not one other person in the entire store. The cashier told me I wasn’t welcome and they don’t accept medical exemption letters. She gave me no option of curbside pick up. I will not shop here again. I’ll settle for jewels limited selection where I have been treated kindly without a mask.

The location is excellent and the staff is friendly. But truth be told, they need to find a better buyer for this store. Their beer selection is big, but that doesnt mean its good. Theres an overabundance of mediocre craft beer. And some stuff will sit on the shelves for months (check brewed on date when youre here). Outside of a major beer release, Ive never bought anything on whim here because they hardly ever have anything to be excited about.Also, a minor complaint, but they have never followed up with me when Ive requested some fairly common things that they dont have. Most the time it just makes more sense to drive to Triangle in Valpo than to settle for WiseGuys.Not knocking on the people. Just the product.

This place is way bigger than I thought it would be from the outside! They have a really great variety, and the staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable! Their prices are competitive, but the selection is the pull. Give yourself time to look around... you will likely find something new to try!

This is my #1 stop for all things alcohol. I bought a $180 bottle of The Macallan scotch whiskey for $80 for my brother for his birthday. The staff is always very helpful and the store is always very clean. If they dont carry something, they will try to help you find some place to pick it up. During the COVID-19 crisis, these guys remained open and they provided drive-up services. Greatest liquor store in NWI.

It was very clean inside easy to find whatever you wanted to. The service was excellent. There was no long wait. And they had just about any alcohol you could think of. I will go back.

Its great that theres finally a liquor store on the other side of town in chesterton. But i wish they had more pint options. Not a lot to chose from but theyre still fairly new.

Well I think this is a decent place. They seem helpful and knowledgeable. Prices do seem a little bit on the higher side. I called to checked on the price of an item as to not waste my time going there if it was too high or if they didnt have it. I was refused the price over the phone. Therefore they have lost a customer. I did buy something the day prior, but that will be my last time going there.

Love the vibe of this place more than anything else. Staff is laid back, friendly, engaged and funny. Good selection and competitive prices.

I disagree with the term discount in their name, because at least when it comes to craft beer, Im not finding many deals here. Decent selection, but no discounts. I shop there out of convenience, but will go elsewhere if I have the time.

Good for finding wines liquors and beers that the local grocerys dont carry (and only slightly more expensive on the items the grocerys do carry). We love to try new beers with their make your own six pack. Also good selection of cold beer (cases, 6-pack, and some singles).

This place has the best selection in the area. If you want to try different things this is the place. The prices are a little higher on the cheaper liquors than other places in town. eg. Jim Beam etc.

They refuse to give prices over the phone which means they probably have outragious pricing. No hate to the individual that answered the phone but management put gimmics above deals. Idiotic. Triangle Liquors in Valpo has a better selection, wine storage and lower prices. FYI.

We tried a beer at craft house and wanted to see if it was here. We looked around the employee asked if we needed any help. He suggested another beer by the same company. Love the variety, great we dont have to drive all the way to Merrillville.

Prices are not any better than other local merchants. The truly disappointing part of my experience was the lack of knowledge on the part of the staff. I asked for a Tempranillo wine the person had no idea what I was referring to. Likewise, did not know the difference between a Belgian Ale and Belgian Strong.

This is the only local place that carries the Tequila I like. Milagro Anejo
