Absolutely terrible the maybe once a year I go there, tried it again and jokes on me, still terrible. Avoid this one and go to any other gas station in town, at minimum the others at least know how to run the register.

0 stars wasnt an option. Ive visited this gas station for the past 15 years. I guess under new management they have changed our hometown gas station to one likes that of the one in Gary or Lake station. I do not recommend.

When things change in small towns too fast, it usually has bad results. That’s exactly what’s going on here. Swiftly changing from a hometown market to a bodega to mimic (laughably) Gary and Portage gas stations, as well as firing an employee (without letting them know and just taking them off the schedule) leaves a bad taste in the public’s mouth.

Horrible management. They fire employees for reasons that are illegal. The manager has got to be the rudest person I have ever met. Shes sloppy, talks ghetto and is extremely disrespectful to the customers as well as the employees. The way she speaks to the employees is absolutely disgusting, and she does this with customers standing right by the counter. If this is how they want to represent their business and treat the employees who work there they will lose business fast.

Personally i havent seen the negative change others have expressed, i think theyre stereotpying Clark gas stations.I still go here nearly daily and have done so for years and years now, everyone is still very friendly and upbeat, the store is still nice and clean.Things change, so yeah, theres some now very common random convenience store trinkets for sale, the branding may have changed, theres some new stuff set up around the counter, but its still the same speedy mart.Its still got the same vibe, its still the impromptu community center for the people around its immediate area.
