Brought Vehicle in for Head gasket replacement and timing chain and hardware. That alone cost just under $2,000.00. Then when we got it back it would not go over 3000 rpm and limits itself to a limp mode of sorts. Cant drive it on most streets just to be clear. Back to Cams again and he said the oil screen was clogged on the VTec. Said he cleaned it and said good to go. Once again, not long after we picked it up, it happened yet again. SO back in again for the 3rd time and he changed a part at an additional cost of just under $225. Said it was fixed again, but not long after that problem happened again. Took it back for the fourth time and he said he used a cheaper part before and now will use the Honda part. That now added an additional cost of $85 for the Honda part. Said it was good to go yet again, but nope. Problem occurred Yet again, brought it back a 5th time and now he had it for weeks driving it around to check it out. He claimed there was nothing wrong. We finally got it back after many months in total, (not counting the Pandemic). The battery was now dead too (new battery), and the problem immediately happened within the first 5 min of driving it. This cant be his finest job. I can not recommend anyone bringing anything there right now. We expect to take it someplace else and when we get to the bottom of the issue, we will send him a bill to reimburse us. Glad we had other Vehicles to borrow. Oh and every bill was always slightly more than what he quoted us.
