We went here recently just to get a new patio set(table and chairs), but ended up getting a lot more. We went in and instantly saw that almost all of the products were of great quality and the salespeople were very friendly and helpful. All in all, we ended up buying the patio set, four Adirondack chairs(two with footstools and two without) and three tables that matched. It was also a nice touch on a burning hot day that they allow customers access to a fridge of cold water.

Have never been treated worse by a business owner. Will never set foot in this place again, Disrespectful.

Upside: Great customer service and selection.Downside: Eye watering prices.

I went in with lots of questions about grills. The salesman and owner (I assume) were both very helpful. I could tell they knew the products well and I didn’t feel pressured. Bought a grill, they set it up, delivery guy answered a couple of more questions.I don’t want to buy a grill every year. Or every two years. Or every five years, for that matter. I appreciated how they took the time for me to get comfortable with an appliance I’m going to have for 10 years.

I have purchased many products from this store. Always knowledgeable people helping in the process. The owner of the store is always helpful and friendly and makes the process very easy. Best place in town to get your propane tanks filled or replaced as well.

This place is special. Harvey and his team are exceptional. Great products, great service, great friendly atmosphere. For over 40 years, this special neighborhood store has provided the very best and most competitive lawn, leisure, fireplace and Christmas trees anywhere in the St. Louis area. Purchase from Harvey and experience customer service at its best.

The owner was extremely rude. My husband and I went in today (in our gardening clothes if that matters, because I have a feeling it mattered) to look into getting a shade canopy. We were expecting to pay between $4-8,000 for what we were looking for. Once the owner realized he didn’t have what we wanted, he treated us like dirt, walking away in the middle of me talking. Then, a very nice sales assistant offered to show us a catalogue, at which point the owner walked back up and rudely exclaimed “I ALREADY TOLD THEM WE DON’T HAVE WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR”. I just said thank you and walked out. We‘ll spend our money at another local business.

Drove a 100 miles, stopped in to look at some pollywood chairs, owner was very helpful and explained all the pro and cons of inventory he carries which made my choice easy. Will return to do business again.

Lots of high end grills and furniture. High end means high prices. Cant find better prices for pellet grills, pellets, and propane exchanges though. Chris L your comment doesnt even make sense. If he was acting like you were doing him a favor that would imply he was being nice.

Don’t waste your time. Apparently this place has as much business as it wants because the owner is rude!

Went in looking for a grill and the sales people and even the owner went above and beyond to help. They answered all of my questions and even gave me a bit of a discount since I added a few options.Remember people this is not a big box store. These are high quality items that you wont find at Lowes or Home Depot.Will absolutely be back for my patio set.

Called up Suburban Leisure today to ask if they did propane tank exchanges. They said that they did. I then asked if I had to come in the store or could do it all outside. They guy on the phone then suggested that I go to Dierbergs or Schnucks and then hung up on me. Just bizarre.

Kenny was very helpful in assisting us with our furniture selection. He allowd us lots of time to sit and try out the Adirondack chairs. We will return!

My parents went to this place and the owner was AWFUL. He treated them disrespectfully and clearly hates the world. When my mom told him she didn’t appreciate him snapping on her, he was clearly angry and mad. Maybe you should get a grip and retire!

Owner was extremely rude. Acted like I was doing him a favor by going in his business. I will never go back. Salesman was very nice, but the owner kept inserting himself into the conversation.

We visited the store today with intention of buying $10k+ in outdoor furniture. The man that attempted to help us (the owner, I presume), was the most negative, rude, and unhelpful sales person I have ever met. His only interest was telling us what they can’t do. Don’t waste your time visiting this store.
