Everything was amazing right from the get-go! Scott, our salesman was informative, helpful and not pushy! He worked WITH us to get us a layout that worked structurally, and adhered to easement and water drainage limitations that they didnt know about. I was sold on not only their services, but their decking material (Vekadeck). The demos of the durability of the product were impressive, but I still did my own research (and my own durability tests), and this stuff is the real deal! Great product. We were generally already sold on Chesterfield due to friends experiences and our initial consultation with Scott, but price was in expected range and actually came in slightly cheaper than the competitive bid we got. We also visited the showroom and made some good informed decisions based on the products on display there. If you have any kind of deck project with them, I suggest hitting the showroom so you can SEE whats available. Scott set proper expectations that there was quite a back up (not surprising at this particular point in time), and Melissa in the office kept us informed of our status consistently during the months between our signing and project completion. Neil and his crew of 3 were assigned to our project. I suspect that our project was on the larger side of projects that are normally done, but youd never know it based on the quality of work! These guys cut zero corners, were very professional, set expectations of what possible delays we might encounter, and again, just top notch craftsmanship, as can be seen in the pictures. Little details were taken care of too. For example, they put down top soil and seed around the concrete pier posts, and made conscious decisions on post-light placement and the color of the back cross beam. If they were unsure, we were always asked which way we wanted things. Once the project was near completion, we were ASKED if they could draw the final payment from our financing account before actually doing so. Again, another small detail, that was impressive to us. My Dad used to build decks in the 90s, and even as picky as he is, found absolutely no issues with craftsmanship. The wife is happy with everything, and of course, I am too. Overall great experience. I would recommend this company and will be calling them for future deck or fence projects.

Great communication from the team during design and during the wait u til construction of our deck. With how crazy busy things have been, the frequent updates on where our project was in the queue was perfect for managing expectations. The build quality and efficiency of the construction team was also excellent. Very happy overall.

Had 5 bids for my vinyl fence... all were in the ballpark, but the salesman for Chesterfield was so nice and informative, I just felt more comfortable. Im so glad I went with them too. The installers were hard workers and very good. They did what I consider to be a pretty large fence in just two days. And that includes removing the previous wood privacy fence. They did a great cleanup job as well. I have had lots of compliments on the new fence. Very happy with them!!

2 years ago we decided to have a fence installed using Chesterfield fence and deck. We decide to go with this company because they were the cheapest bid of the multiple companies that we got bids from. We had our fence installed in July 2019 right when we moved into the new house, and paid the down payment right away then after the services were complete, we paid the rest. In October 2019, they sent us a bill saying we hadnt paid the second half of the amount. I went through a lot of aggravation trying to prove that we had paid the rest when the services were complete. After going round and round with this company I proved that we had paid off the remaining amount and that we were completely paid up. I just received a bill in the mail yesterday, July 2021 oh, it says we still did not pay that amount that they accused us of back in October 2019. I havent heard from this company in two years and all of a sudden they sent me a bill out of the blue claiming that I have not paid them. Now I get to go through the aggravation of proving that I paid again because they dont know how to keep solid record in their finance department. By the way, I just want you to know that their invoice is an old-fashioned typed up piece of paper. It is not indicative of them using a good system that keeps records. It looks like somebody hand types their invoices every time they send them. The manager of the finance department claims that they keep records of sending past notices and I am going to make her send me a copy of that because I have not received anything since 2019. I also dont trust the records department when they are claiming that they keep Financial records. Im most likely going to have to go to my own bank and pull up the bank statement myself. Do not use this company! They are unprofessional and do not know how to keep Good Records. Save yourself the aggravation pay a little extra money to go with a company that is reliable and trustworthy and wont contact you after 2 years of silence!!!!

From start to finish, we had no issues. Nick was prompt with the quote, Teresa was awesome with the scheduling, and Almir and his crew were great. They showed up on time and were done before I got home from work. Fence looks awesome and the wife is happy, always a plus!

Omg they put up my cedar fence 241 linear feet in 5 hrs!! They dig the post holes by hand. They didnt tear up the yard. They are the most professional company I have dealt with. We could not be happier with our deck!From the very start, everyone at Chesterfield Fence and Deck (CFD) was very helpful and professional. The crew was VERY clean, sweeping up the patio underneath the new deck every night before they left. The deck looks AMAZING - our neighbor even send us a text message about how beautiful the deck looks!Now, any company can be easy to deal with when there are no problems, but a true judge of a companys character is how they handle problems. We had an issue where the ribbon board (a decorative board that runs perpendicular to the main flooring) wasnt centered properly and was also the wrong color. After sending a supervisor out to look at the deck they, without hesitation, said they would make things right. In this case, making things right was removing the entire surface of the deck (unfortunately rendering it unusable) and redoing it all. We even asked if it was possible to reuse the half of the decking that was too long (by cutting it down to the correct length), but wouldnt do that since the replacement decking for the other half may not be a perfect color match; they would rather take the financial hit than put in a deck that didn’t look perfect. To me, that speaks volumes about the company and its leadership. It seems like its harder and harder to find a good company that doesnt cut corners and stands behind their work, but in my experience, Chesterfield Fence and Deck is most certainly one of the good guys and I cannot recommend them enough!

Quinton was our salesman, I cancelled on him the first time like a jerk, he happily came out the second time! We got a huge 21 x 12 deck, he also recommended the Picture Frame type style, with white railing and black poles. Hamza and Semiz did the install of our beautiful deck, and honestly I thought they were installing deck for themselves. They communicated so wonderfully, they took about 16 - 20 hours to install the whole thing, and each day had its own part, it was basically a science watching them put together every piece. They were so professional, the whole company really from Melissa keeping posted on when our was going to be installed to just the outstanding job the install team did. I have MANY neighbors ask me where I got my deck, and i am PROUD to say I got it from Chesterfield Fence & Deck!

Nice fence.ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I had a fence put in last summer. Andy my forman couldnt have been worse. I paid 10k to have a fence installed. The guys who put it in put a panel in that looked like a bowling ball was dropped on it. I took pictures sent it to Andy who was completely useless to talk to. He directed me to his boss Lee who seemed to care less about my issue. I also spoke with the lady in charge of accounting who gave me the run around and still have not received any call backs 6 months later from anyone to resolve this. I would suggest spending less money on advertising and more money on customer service training. You would think they would have a follow up call when they finish to make sure the customer is happy after spending so much money. Nope. They just want your money and dont seem to care if your happy. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone

10 years ago I had CFD build us a deck on a previous home. They were so great to work with that I didn’t hesitate in calling them again for a new deck on our current home. Greg (sales) was friendly and professional. During construction, Mike was always timely and really cared about the quality of his work. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product that he produced!Special shout-out to Melissa in the office. Our project experienced a lot of supplier and pandemic related delays. She kept in constant contact and gave us accurate timelines (as best she could), all while remaining positive, friendly, and professional. CFD truly has a great staff!

The crew that came out and tore it down was great had it all down in a day. The 2 guys that put the new deck up were very professional and did great work with attention to detail and the finished product. If you are looking to make a investment for a quality deck I suggest giving them a call.

I am upgrading my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Someone from Management called me concerned with my situation. He committed to sending a crew November 30th and that has occurred. The crew arrived around 9 am and corrected the gate. They would have gotten 4 stars had the communications been better in the first place. It was not the non-functional gate as it was the inconsistent communications and follow up.We used Chesterfield Fence and Deck to install a 6 foot fence with gate along side our house. They installed it and it seemed fine but in 3 weeks the gate was out of alignment and it no longer opened or closed without forcing it so it is effectively useless.I notified my Project Consultant Nick on October 23rd and he said he would get a Field Supervisor to take a look which he did. The Field Supervisor agreed there is a problem and that he provide it to the office which did not call so I emailed Nick again and he agreed this was frustrating and would look into it Monday, November 16. Here I sit November 22nd, a full month, without even a path to remediation and an unusable gate.Please do not use this company to free up their time to provide service after the sale to customers such as myself. Also, I recommend that you keep our experience in mind when making your decision.

This is a great company if you want your fence or deck done properly.Here is the deal, if you want any job done you have three variables that can be modulated to fit your specific needs.You have price, speed and quality. You typically can get two of the three. This is certainly true with Chesterfield Fence and Deck.Is it the cheapest option? No, it is not. But the quality, and speed are there. The customer service follow through is there, and I would definitely say the value is there. They build solid, lasting structures or quality materials.So my experience boils down to knowing what to pay for and what to remove from my budget. And securing and beautifying my properties is important to me and CF+D are a known entity, so they will continue to get my business.

We had them put in our fence and the communication is horrible. They originally scheduled our fence to be completed in September but when they never showed on that date I had to reach out to multiple people to get any information. It turns out that the manufacturer was running behind so our fence was not in stock. Because of the lack of communication my husband wasted an at home day and all we received from Chesterfield was a lot of excuses and empty promises. I requested weekly updates since I did not trust that they would communicate and was promised that would happen, which it did not. I was constantly reaching out for information with little work from them. There was a lot of empty promises with zero follow through. We finally got our fence completed and it was done quickly, however the workers did something with our sprinkler system and told us to contact the company to get it fixed. I sent an email to Theresa about this and again got 0 response. I am so frustrated with the lack of communication which is the absolute basic of a company. I will not recommend them to anyone due to this.

I would recommend Chesterfield Fence and Deck to anyone and would definitely use them again. The service we received was AWESOME! Their work ethics is the kind you wish everyone would display. Eldin and his crew showed up everyday even in the rain and completed the work prior to the completion date. Their cleanup was impeccable! The city inspector was also impressed with the deck stating “these guys did a really good job” and asked if he could take pictures.

Recently Chesterfield Fence removed an existing fence in our back yard and replaced it with a new Eastern Cedar Fence. We received 3 bids but Steve Niles impressed us not only with his personality but offered what we believe to have been the best product (including waranty) and price. They attended to our project in good time and did an excellent job of installation. It was clear that the installers were well skilled and knew what they were doing. The project took longer than planned because of weather. Should we have any concerns it is only that they could have done a bit better in clean up when finished but only a minor concern. All in all very well satisfied with Chesterfield Fence, beginning to completion.

One of the most important considerations for a deck, according to my wife was…” I really wanted a deck that would stand the test of time with no maintenance…” When my wife went to their office to look at materials and colors, she came home with samples in hand. She was able to show her friends and family the high quality of material and was able to get input from all. She then called Keith and he took time out of his Saturday to come over and review the different options: Post lighting, Railing and boarder around the deck to give it a wonderful finish to ensure my wife had the deck she wanted. Additional considerations on the build was my wife would like to add an overhang in the future and Keith ensured us his engineers would include required supports to make sure we would be within code in the future. We signed our contract and the work began… Melissa was assigned our project and she was in continuous communications with us as to each stage of the project. When the team would be out to take down our old deck, to getting plans for permits and eventually the start date of building the deck.Mike’s crew showed up, first demoing the old deck, and ensured our safety by advising of limiting use of the doors going out and then by placing a safety barrier to help visualize safety needed to be taken. After the old deck was removed, and the new band board was placed he made sure my wife was informed of the entire process. As the deck began to take shape, Mike took additional time to explain the fastening system he was using for the decking to help with constriction and contraction of the material and as the post where added with lighting he asked my wife for her opinion to ensure she was happy. Unfortunately weather pushed us back and got in the way, but they were troopers and kept coming until the job was done. I cannot say enough nice things about them!! Chesterfield Fence & Deck installed a deck for us. We chose VEKAdeck, an engineered deck board. The foreman for our job was Travis. He did an outstanding job. Very professional, polite, efficient and very particular that everything was done perfectly. We are very pleased with our deck.Another crew installed the roof cover for our deck. The structure was well constructed and the shingles matched out roof shingles perfectly. When they were finished with the job, there were a few issues that were not resolved. Chesterfield sent their repairman, Jim. He talked with us about our concerns and made the changes. Jim understood exactly what we wanted and did an excellent job making the changes

Could not be happier! From start to finish this was a first class operation. Kevin, the salesman clearly showed us, without any high pressure, the options and prices so we could make an intelligent decision. We chose the Eastern Red Cedar shadowbox four foot fence and waited for only about five weeks before three very skilled workers arrived, fifteen minutes earlier than expected, to install our fence. I have never experienced friendlier workers who answered all of my questions and made me feel so comfortable and so wise in choosing Chesterfield Fence. I mean it; the professionalism and precision of these installers were amazing! They removed my old fence and constructed my new fence in less than six hours! And I have a large back yard (178 feet). Concrete was poured in each of the thirty inch post holes and the fence was perfectly installed on the designated property line. Also, the two gates look really classy and will be very useful in the years to come. This fence is absolutely gorgeous and everyone who sees it gives positive feedback like you cant believe! If you are wanting to improve the value of your home, need to replace an old broken down fence, or desire to install a brand new fence, dont go anywhere but Chesterfield Fence and Deck. My long anticipated screen and deck project turned into everything I had hoped for, even with the challenge of a sloped site with very limited vehicle and equipment access. My neighborhood is extremely picky about fences and who installs them. DIY or a handyman wouldn’t fly around here. Chesterfield Fence and Deck more than met all my expectations, fell within budget and knocked out the entire fence install in one day. Only complaint is they didn’t put up a name plate on my fence... now all my neighbors are coming up to the door asking for more info!

I bid out my project to three local companies. My choice was based on price, reviews and sales process. CF&D went above and beyond what should have been a typical experience. My deck looks great, they honored the contract even though some unexpected issues arose that required additional work, the crew was great and kept me in the loop at all times. I typically dont write reviews for companies if they did work that was expected. The whole process from office staff, to planning, to implementation and cleanup with CF&D was exceptional.

I contacted Chesterfield Fence and Decks for a bid on a 4 seasons room. I had used them at our old house for a fence and liked the quality of their work. I knew they would be a little pricier than a plain 4 seasons room but I wanted a fancier one. From the beginning to the end (just finished) it has been a pleasure to work with everyone connected with them. I liked Kevin, the salesman, Dan, the project manager, Melissa, the coordinator and they were all responsive and didn’t fail to return my calls. Chris and Joe who did the work, were utterly fantastic. They were honest and kept me informed on each step along the way but their workmanship was the real winner. Their attention to detail was outstanding. This is now the favorite room in the house. More compliments than expected. Customer service and quality are both subpar, communication lacks (I still havent received a reply from their president to resolve our concerns). CF&D recently installed a VEKA deck on my new home. I couldnt be more impressed with the attention to detail, professionalism and product quality. Scott Will (salesman)presented me with CF&Ds exclusive VEKA deck product. He showed me how other products would easily dent by dropping items on it. But not VEKA deck! As hard as Scott tried to dent it with the corner of another product, VEKA withstood the force of the blow. The installation crew was extremely friendly and hard working. After every step of the process they insured everything was cleaned up. Outstanding job CF&D. Thank you!

The deck looks nice and the crew of 3 put it together very quickly. It took a while to get started because they are fully booked. Price was a little high and it did not include staining which we did ourselves at the end to protect our new cedar decking. We love Chesterfield Fence!My fiance and I bought our first home and needed a fence installed right away because of our dog. I investigated a few fence companies and decided to go with Chesterfield Fence because of their quick responses, professionalism, and the price (over $1,000 less than the other guys).Chesterfield was able to work with us during the few weeks before our closing so that the day after we closed, the fence could be installed. There were a few changes that my fiance wanted to make to my original design, and making those was easy - just a few emails. I was guided through the process to get my permit and Nikki was super polite and helpful when she scheduled our appointment.The day of our installation, our installer (Freddy & a few others) were right on time and was super friendly. They were professional and conscientious. The install took longer than originally planned for, and the installers stuck with it - even during a quick thunderstorm (I told them to hide out in my screened in porch!). We even ran into one small hiccup and the installers got it sorted out with very little input from me necessary.After the installation, they cleaned up and asked us to okay their work - WOW! I am in love with how amazing our fence looks! We got 4 foot white vinyl with a 3 foot section to allow for a rose bush and its wonderful - pretty and solidly installed. The gates even lock!Our dog is coming home tonight and I cant wait to be able to let her run in her new yard with no worries. Thanks for the great service, Chesterfield Fence!

Huge shout out to Greg Lewis. I had a beautiful deck, stairs, and stamped patio installed under a year ago by Chesterfield. Unfortunately, I wasn’t informed of the maintenance needs of the stamped patio causing it to require servicing. Greg was able to pull some strings and quickly get the patio scheduled to be stripped and re-sealed at no cost to me. Thanks for standing behind your product and for the great customer service!

While I do love the fence so far (only a week old), Ive been very dissatisfied with the customer service after the installation. If you do decide to go Chesterfield, make sure you do not make the final payment until you are completely satisfied, otherwise they will not follow up and be very unresponsive.As an overview: The salesman was helpful and really saw us through the planning process. The ladies at the office you call for payments and scheduling are friendly. The crew was friendly and efficient; however, they did cut a cable line. Accidents happen, I get that. But resolving my problem is when Chesterfield Fence became absent, non communicative, and unresponsive. I was able to resolve the issue myself with Charter, but only after my own follow ups to the company did I get an answer to what had occurred on installation day. Charter was more helpful and responsive than Chesterfield Fence - That is really saying something! I mean a 5 minute call would have solved all of this, but now my view of Chesterfield Fence and what they claim to stand for has changed. I am sad that I gave my money to this company.

We got a chain link fence that is Fantastic and solid, even after long periods of soaked ground and high winds the fence stands firm and tight. The installation crew did not rush, nor did they dilly-dally. They ensured that each post hole was deep, straight and even. They used high quality materials and professional installation procedures. The sale man Greg was outstanding and help us with the selection of materials and the relocation of the stairs and help following up during the final scheduling of the installation. Our project coordinator Melissa was very professional and kept us informed on the progress of the design, permits and construction schedule. Our installation crew headed by Mesha was outstanding and worked very hard and carefully during the demo and the new deck installation. They kept the work site very neat and clean every day. The finished deck is great and looks outstanding. I am so impressed with your company! We built our deck a little over 5 years ago and had a great experience. It was built exactly how we planned it and finished quickly. We have not had any problems with the deck itself. A few weeks ago I noticed a few problems with our post caps. I made a call and I quickly received an email from Tim with a solution. Matt and Brad came out and fixed everything and it actually looks like a new deck again. A company that takes care of their customers 5 years after they built a deck with them deserves a lot of recognition. Matt and Brad made this easy. Thank you so much!

Service was terrible. They dug the wrong holes for the posts and had to dig all new ones during install leaving the back of our yard full of deep holes (they gave us several bags of dirt to fill the holes-thanks!!). They messed up the driveway gate and had to drill a third hole in the asphalt and patch one of the others. Within 4 months of install we already had two bent spindles and one down completely. Terrible product for a ridiculous price. We should have gone elsewhere.

We worked with Mersad at Chesterfield Fence and Deck. He walked us through the entire process and answered all of my crazy questions! He still, after the project was over has responded promptly and was very professional. The installation crew worked so hard in muddy/rainy conditions and finished our big project in just about two days. They were on time, professional and friendly! This was a wonderful experience with Chesterfield Fence and Deck!I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again, absolutely!

Frank and Justin, from Chesterfield Fence and Deck, built an AWESOME set of steps for our patio! So so workmanship. Rude, argumentative installers. The company that they use for financing is beyond terrible. Has thousands of online complaints( Green Sky) . Very disappointed in this company.

I used Chesterfield Fence and Deck on a custom fence around a new patio and retaining wall and the service was outstanding.From Dee, the sales rep that worked with us, to Nicki and the installers everything was perfect and went off without a hitch.A great company to work with, made so by the great team they have.I highly recommend Chesterfield Fence.

Service was bad. It took them 8 trips to get our fence right between installing the wrong direction to having crooked boards. A few things our sales person told us turned out to not be true later until we had to argue multiple time with the install foreman. They couldnt install what we were sold and then blamed us. They tried to charge us for gates that were never installed and for extra fence. I thought I had this worked out and then got charged for it. After talking with billing people, I had to have the same discussion with the foreman again.The owners really need to look at some of the customer experience. I ended up fixing my gate myself because they wouldnt just fix it and sent me from department to department.

Chesterfield installed our new high quality aluminum fencing with two gates recently. We are very pleased at the work done and have had numerous neighbors compliment our addition. The whole Chesterfield team from sales to installation crew was top notch!

The crew that completed my 6 foot cedar fence did a great job. The work was flawless, the job site was left clean and men were very professional.Chesterfield Fence put my original fence up 22 years ago they did a good job then, the fence lasted longer than expected, so I had them out to replace it with a new one.

While the final product is acceptable, the overall experience was extremely frustrating. I made the mistake of trusting the sales rep when he said he would take care of my concerns. Make sure you read the contract and plans very carefully, and do not let any work begin until you have plans approved and personally speak to the workmen. The carpenters are the only reason I gave the company 3 stars.

They were very consistent on getting as much done as they could every day. I loved watching the progress go as i came home every day to see what they got done that day. It turned out amazing in the end. I couldnt of asked for any more then they did. Great job.

We all have heard You get what you pay for. Well, That isnt exactly true. Five years ago We had a 6 foot cedar fence put up in our yard. We actually went with Stl Fenceworks to do the job. Well, nearly five years later. Our posts began to lean. We called Stl Fenceworks to have them honor their Lifetime Workmanship warranty and found out that they really dont have one. So, We contacted Chesterfield Fence and deck to replace 2 posts which they gladly did for us. While the crew was here, I actually called Stl Fenceworks to get their Standard on installing the fence that failed us. I spoke to the Warehouse manager and he informed me that they use a 9 foot post and put 36 inches into the ground and concrete. The posts that were removed were 7 foot in length and only had 16 inches into the ground. Is it any wonder why the posts have failed? My advice here would be to pay the cost up front which we did not do. We wanted to save and in the end, corners were cut that we still paid for. As posts fail, I will be sure to contact Chesterfield Fence and deck for the repairs.

Great place, with wide range of products, good quality and reasonable prices, clean, nice staff and willing to help, and always available I rate it at five stars.

I had several tall rotten deck support posts replaced by Chesterfield Fence and Deck in early November. The crew showed up on the arranged day, without posts long enough to complete the job. They were professional about it, and were able to return later the same day after obtaining new posts. The crew was excellent, and were very personable. Post installation looks great overall.The only problem is that at the end of the day, we were told that someone would be back to remove the cardboard concrete tubes and temporary support structure in a few days, once the concrete had a chance to cure. Unfortunately, it has been 6 weeks, and nobody has returned to complete the job. Rainwater was collecting inside the cardboard tubes and soaking the new brackets and posts - exactly the reason to replace the posts and add above-grade concrete pillars in the first place. A phone call did not get a return call from the installers. I ended up removing the cardboard tubes and temporary supports myself - not what you expect when you pay a few thousand dollars to have posts replaced professionally.

We had Chesterfield Fence and Deck install a new fence for us. The workers were on time and worked hard for 2 days to complete the fence. The fence is beautiful! We have had many comments from people about what a beautiful fence it is, and even from people we dont know. I would highly suggest Chesterfield Fence and Deck to anyone.

Mersad Ramic was our Salesman. He was amazing!!! He was thorough with his explanations. He was very kind and patient with me, I had a lot of questions. This was my first time buying a fence he took the time to explain my options and how we could afford it without ANY pressure. Chesterfield Fence came highly recommended and now I see why. I got a few other bids, but they were the best. Mersad is the reason we chose Chesterfield fence and deck. The workmanship was fantastic, the office staff was amazing but HE is the reason I will be referring him my clients if they are looking for a new fence! (I’m a real estate agent.)

Superior Craftsmanship!!!From beginning to end, we never regretted our decision to contract with CF&D. We are thrilled with our new maintenance free deck, roof, and screen system. While CF&D was not the lowest bids, they were competitive and had many advantages which made the selection decision obvious. (key for me was their own construction team)No construction job of this size goes without a few challenges, but CF&D listened to our concerns and took appropriate action. We would like to call special attention to the primary construction team who built our project, who were friendly, professional, superior craftsmen, and Paul Eilerman, Construction Manager who was always willing to discuss the project, offer solutions, and provide insights to the projects timeline....
