Jake installed my French Doors perfectly. It was well worth the wait and the cost. I should have used Pella first. I had French doors installed by a local person. The doors had gaps and were cut down to fit the opening. Thank you Pella for a great product and great job. I would use Pella again.
We were beyond impressed with every aspect of our window installation. Beginning with Ben who was very knowledgeable, helped us with the design, and sold us the windows. Shortly after they were quick to schedule the installation and they followed through with that exact date. Finally, Matt and team were amazing at installing the windows. Very professional and the end product is better than we expected. Finally, we found a great company with great service and amazing products.
Our Specialist was very cordial. He thoroughly explained the product and he was not obtrusive at all. He listened to our needs and requests and he handled them in an amiable manner. Our Windows and Doors were scheduled for installation on 04/19 and 04/20 and our Installers were punctual and professional, both days. It took 2 days to complete the project because of the volume of the order. The installation process that they had in place, highlighted their proficiency. We had a cut screen on one of our doors and they ordered a new one on the spot. ( It has since been replaced ). We needed a minor tweaking on our lower level sliding door ( insulation around the perimeter ) and our Installer was very flexible with making sure it was taken care of as soon as possible. Needless to say, my wife and I are very pleased with our new Windows and Doors.
Arrived on time. Removed old door, installed replacement and sealed all joints. Looks great and was done in under 3 hours. Cleaned up & hauled off old materials/door. Price was as agreed to at time of order. Pella makes a quality product and they stand behind their warranties. Very happy.
All good from start to finish. The installer was wonderful.
The Pella specialist was very nice and well informed about the product. He was calm and explained a lot to us. There was no pressure. We ordered and waited about 2 months for the manufacturer to create our windows and door. The installers were extremely professional. The did an excellent job and have everything done in a little over a day. My experience was a very pleasant one.
I initially had someone come out to look at the existing Pella door that we inherited with our house purchase. It was very old, and determined to need replacement. The whole team was very kind during the whole process. Was initially told it would take 12 weeks for the door to arrive, but we got it in about a month. The installer did a great job, and we couldnt have had a better experience. Thanks Pella!
This is the worst company to work with. Service is terrible. We have waited over 4 months for windows and still have not yet received them. They said we would get them in 10-12 weeks and it is past that. Now they say they do not guarantee delivery dates. They are always pushing it back. They give you the run around within the company and a million excuses. I have put in some Pella windows a month ago and the quality control is not very good. Go with Anderson windows or another brand of windows. Avoid Pella at all cost and avoid Pella of St. Louis. They are expensive and make you wait forever and the quality is subpar.
All of the workers worked fast and cleaned up great
Pella is tops in my book. We had all of our windows and patio doors replaced by Pella St. Louis and they exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and workmanship. They even cleaned up after the installation AND the installers wore booties and masks!! Major KUDOS!!
We had whole house window/door replacement done with Pella. First we love the new black windows, so modern and casements changed the look from the interior out and the views go on for days. Second, our fist experience with Pella was Daniel Beaudoin and he was the best no pressure, get us what we want and can afford salesperson we could have hoped for. Thirdly, the installation team of Steve and Denise - they are amazing. They really do make it a joy to have your house and routine messy for a few days. The careful, expertise job this whole team performed from sales to installation has been a GREAT experience. We knew when to expect delivery and installation and we were kept up to date of all delays as they were encountered on the manufacturing side. Would recommend this company, this salesperson, and this installation team over and over again!
Went to the showroom yesterday to look at a Lifestyle series sliding patio door, with blinds between the glass. The salesman was extremely helpful. But was surprised at getting a quote of $7335 for a standard patio door. Plus another $940 for installation. Even after a 25% discount, it was over $6,000 with installation. All that for a standard door, not something customized. I asked for a printout of the quote, but I couldnt get one. I guess Ive been wrong, and that people regularly spend $6 - $7,000 for a Lifestyle sliding patio door. Or maybe the prices are flexible depending on what the salesman believes the customer is willing to pay. Sadly, Pella doors are way out of my budget.
We contacted Pella St. Louis to assess window replacement at our villa. After assessment and after paying a fee of $125 for them to assess, the inspector told me two large windows and a few sashes would need replaced. He said Pella would contact me with quote within two weeks.I was contacted by Mary at Pella who told me Pella installers could not install two of the windows due to size and that she would send the replacement list to the contractor of which she only called by first name. She said he would contact me.Two weeks later I called Mary back as no response from her contractor. She then said I needed to contact him and gave his number. At this point a month had passed. The contractor for install met me and reassessed what Pella said needed repaired and stated all windows needed replaced and that he would not do the project without doing all windows. We went from what Pella recommended from a few windows to a completely different assessment by someone they referred for install.Four weeks later and we have not received any update and when I reached out to the installer he said he was still waiting on Pella, that was two weeks ago. Frustrated, I called Pella and spoke with Mary to get our original assessment that we paid for so I could find another contractor and Mary told me she could not give it to me even though I paid for the assessment. This is a shady unprofessional business that does a bait and switch. Forces you to use a contractor they recommend and change what needs to be repaired from original assessment that you pay $125 for. They refuse to give you anything in writing.I should have known when I had to pay to have them tell me what windows needed to be replaced that they run a scam operation. I am a Director of Operations and have always had outstanding relations with companies and Pella will NEVER be a referral from us.
Over the years we’ve had Pella replace all the windows in our 65 year old home- two floors plus basement. The quality is excellent for the price. Installation crews on three different occasions were timely, courteous and extremely professional. In addition they cleaned up and left area better than it was before installing new windows.
Hours of operation not helpful almost no samples on website.
Very disappointed in quality of service from sale, measurement to installation. Was told windows would not interfere with inside mounting of blinds. They do as they are mounted inside rather than on the outside like original windows. Windows were installed during COVID shut down. Window sills were badly scratched. Outside trim looked terrible-excess caulk, pieces of trim pieced together rather than use one continuous piece. Larger than normal gap at top of sliding window over sink (from measurements done) was filled in with insulation. Sales person failed to come out to inspect job as promised. Installation manager came out & agreed to redo outside trim & touch up window sill with filler (not paint). Second time was done well!
Hello all. We were in need of new windows and thankfully we went to Pella. I was concerned with the usual; energy, drafts, quality and price. When we began our meetings with Pella, I really loved black grilles but didn’t think the house could handle it. Man was I wrong! We met with a sales person, played with colors and ideas. I was able to lose all double hung windows and go to casement (which made me very happy) our windows look taller also. In some areas we lost the transmission and did tall casement windows- or home is so updated you would not believe it! Less grilles, in black and some windows like our great room we eliminated grilles completely! We did not do our entire home either/ which you would never ever know. Absolutely best install, completely organized the project came in on time! Our drafts are gone-I Love the interior black grilles too! I knew I wanted that, but the difference is just remarkable. Absolutely the best update ever! Highly recommend
What a great experience overall! Pete was incredibly informative, kind, punctualand innovative! He was never pushy and answered all our questions. We use Consumer Reports for all of our large purchases, so we were interested in the Pella windows, but after our visit with Pete and the information and demonstration he provides, our minds were made up.Ted came over to install our windows about 4 weeks later. He worked non-stop and did a great job! He was also very knowledgeable. We are super pleased with the service and products provided. We will be doing five more windows next year with Pella!Thank you and see you in 2021!!
Our salesman, Tim Morgan, is extremely helpful and professional. The showroom is set up well so you can view and operate the door and window options available. It is worth the trip!
My husband and I just purchased new windows and entry door with lights, so if your looking for windows, doors or skylights give Pella Windows and Doors a call and ask for Joe Feldewerth, he is Fantastic salesman, Joes presentation was very informative, discussed with us what would and what would not work for us, we also seen on his computer what our front entry door will look like, we have worked with other window and door companies in other homes, no comparison.
Good product and people
Superb work. Windows and door were installed in a timely manner with the highest degree of professionalism.
We purchased a front and back door from Pella on June 1, 2020 and were told they would be delivered and installed in 6-8 weeks. We received one door and installed, but we are still waiting on the 2nd one. We have been getting the run-around from our salesman and also the president of Pella Windows of the St. Louis area regarding where our door is and when it will be delivered. The door is paid in full, and we cant get any answers. The excuse we have been given is Covid but no one knows where the door is or when and if we will be receiving it. Pella, if you are really as professional and premier as you advertise, get back to us and give us a straight answer. We would NOT recommend Pella at this time. While the door received is beautiful and great quality, their customer service is not.
We had three windows replaced in our bedroom and want to compliment Jake and Justin for their outstanding job. Very professional and efficient and great to work with. The job was done fast and everything was cleaned up. Super nice guys. This was our third Pella job. Two previous were doors. We were very satisfied with all.Janis and Mike R
The workers were very friendly and did a professional job. Improvement couldve been in the installation of the front door by hanging a plastic tarp to contain dust and/or flying particles.
It was a pleasure working with salesman Joe Feldewerth and installer Rich Prilenski. Joe worked with me on achieving the goals I wanted for my new doors. Rich obviously knows his business as an installer very well, gave appropriate instructions for usage and answered all questions. Both gentlemen were on time and very professional in their dealing with me. Thank you.
I understand we are in a Pandemic, but my door was ordered in February. It’s now June 11th and no word on when we’ll be getting it. I was given four different dates. Latest one is it will be here on the 12th, tomorrow. I’ll post a second review after it’s installed. 5 months for a door is ridiculous.Update- door has been delivered and installed. Our salesman was extremely apologetic and offered a major discount. The door looks amazing and installation was quick.
He was punctual james is a true craftsman. Did an excellent job and installation and explaining the use of the patio door as well as cleaning up behind himself as a purple worker I have had Pella doors before and though they may be a little more expensive than others their installation and customer service is above average! And added touch the sales person who sold me the doors Pete came by to check on how things are going this morning first class service.
I purchased new windows from Chris. Chris really went above an beyond in assisting us. He found a great stain for our windows that matched the rest of the woodwork in our home. He also worked with us in designing and adding a bay window to our dining room. This new bay window added much needed natural light and a place for the family to relax in the sun and catch up on reading or playing board games.
The Salesman told me I would be very very happy not only with the Pella Sliding Patio Door, But the Installation team as well. He was right. The two installers were absolutely fantastic. I was first amazed at the quality of the door. Then the installers were Pella installers and they were amazing! Professional, clean, courteous, and boy did they have a plan and it was executed perfectly. After being finished they cleaned up, caulked, touched up any painting on the new door. Checked the opening, closing, licking, of the door and the screen door. Both products were twice the doors I could have purchased at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Full 10 year limited warranty on the door and on Labor. Love it.
Quality worksmanship and thorough cleanup.
Our back patio door was in serious need of replacement. The Pella pre-construction team was awesome!Their service was prompt, easy to work with, and design ideas great. When it came to the actual installation, their installers were amazing. They were fast and accurate. Just how installation should be.We will be hiring the team at Pella St. Louis in the future to do all our window and door work!
We replaced a few windows in our hone that received the most sun and weather. It was a night and day difference in sound and energy consumption and comfort As soon as we could we replaced the rest of our windows and also all the windows in my folks honeHighly recommend Pella through the entire processFrom sales to installers Especially Pete in sakes and Tom in installation
We had great experiences with sales, installation, and product quality. Today was the first really cold day since the installation and its like we are looking at a picture of a cold day -- no wind noise or air leakage at all. Very happy.
We received great customer service on our 35 year old Pella casement window. For the past several years, it took two of us (one inside the house, one outside) to get this particular window to close properly. Chris at Pella arranged an appointment for us and Skip showed up within a week to service our window. He quickly analyzed the situation, made an adjustment to the window that required the window to be removed, and reinstalled the window. The window now operates like it was new again! He also took the time to answer my questions on how to properly lubricate all of my casement windows. The entire service call took less than an hour.
Highly professional staff with a great customer service and do windows and doors the right way for a great project.
Several windows were replaced in our home, and we had a vey good experience. Everything was done very professionally and competently by the sales staff and the installers. We are currently enjoying our windows which are exceptional in quality and appearance.
Our contractor recommended Pella for our home remodel. Its been five years since the remodel and we couldnt be more happy with our Pella windows and doors. I recently called on a small issue with one of the doors and the service was great. Good product, good people.
Jake was great!! Very helpful!!
Professional and honest from sale to installation. Pete was knowledge and could answer every weird question I had. Great experience from beginning to end.
We needed new windows on most of our home due to 20+ year old ones that are starting to rot. The process was simple and straight forward. That is what I look for. You do need to review your options but my sales guy Chris took time to go over everything with me in detail. And to be honest, I ask a lot of questions and he took his time again to explain any changes we made. I love what we selected and was glad he helped direct me in the right direction. He was easy to meet up with at my house and the show room. I dont usually leave a lot of reviews but with this long term purchase I felt I should share how simple they made it for me.
I was really nervous about making such a huge investment into our home but knew it would be worth it. There are SO many decisions to make. I was really impressed at how well I was taken through the process. I asked a million questions and even changed my mind on a few things a couple of times. They were patient and easy to work with. I started the process in October and booked an early Dec install date. They also let me know clearly which dates I needed to make final decisions by. The showroom was very nice and there were so many more options than I realized. I felt like they were honest and up front the whole way. The install went well. Ive had many people in my home over the years to do work and this crew was top notch. They were experienced, friendly and on time. They cleaned up everything and left my home with sparkling new windows. I couldnt believe how much of a difference the new windows made- my home looks newer than 40 years and we dont have the draftiness that we had in the winters before. I have recommended Pella to many of my friends. One more thing to note is the overall outstanding reputation of Pella. The home had 40 year old Andersen windows so I didnt want to go with a cheaper quality replacement. I know these will hold their value and help the home. Absolutely recommend!
From our experience, Pella has a great product. Our Pella representative has been extraordinarily helpful and responsive. We would recommend Pella to everyone.
The experience working with Aaron at Pella was evident that he is knowledgeable and professional. Essentially painless. Thanks for ‘tis quality experience.
I would highly recommend working with Dan Beaudoin to anyone who is looking for an upgrade! The whole Pella team did a great job with our project (which was anything but standard!) They made the process so easy!
My wife and I are exceedingly happy with our new Pella windows. When we moved in, our house had newer vinyl replacement windows on one side. They looked and performed better than the aluminum windows that were original with our 1950s era house. However, the installation was terrible, and we finally decided to replace those cheaper, poorly installed replacements with Pella. After seeing the new windows installed properly, we are so happy we made that decision.Jake and his crew of installers were very professional, and made sure we were happy with everything as they proceeded through the installation. From start to finish, this has been one of the most stress-free experiences we have ever had. Thank you Joe Feldewerth. Thank you Jake (& crew). Thank you Pella for making such a big decision so much easier.
Very professional and courteous sales person. The installers were very skilled technicians.I will highly recommend the 350 series patio door product to any one.
Im glad social media exists! I was looking for replacing my windows and using different companies quote and I want to thank H B for the bad treatment review from Pella Windows and Doors! Will NOT even think to call them! Beware guys the way you treat customers, theyll bite back and it hurts your business!
I would recommend this company to everyone, from the sales representative to the installation crew which did an exceptional job.
The workers showed up on time, worked quickly and cleaned up any mess and disposed of the old door. Love the look of our new door. The dead bolt difficult to lock without pushing in door but they did say they would ease as seal is broken in more.My only complaint was that nothing was done to fill the holes left by the staples from the cardboard used to protect the door for delivery.
We purchased two doors from Chris. He was very patient with us because we couldnt decide on colors. We were very happy with every step of the process and love our doors!
Aug 18 - Can not deliver on time. Horrible communication between sales and production. They told me they had over sold across the country. I told them I will do my best to alleviate that problem. If you order plan on 6 months, less hair and more BS answers. They also require a rep to do measurements but will stick it to the contractor when something goes wrong.1/4/19 update. Still missing a screen after a documented 40 calls and 10 months. I was told 12/20 just in time for Christmas. I should have asked what year.....Also if you look at the 5 star ratings they are around the same time frame and left no comment.
They were very helpful.
Pella Windows & Doors did an excellent job on our kitchen window......from sales consultant, to the tech who measured our new install, to the team that completed the installation they were all exceptional......our new window is beautiful, Thanks Pella!!!!! rob & sue c.
Pella, Joe, and the installers did an amazing job helping us pick our windows, stay on budget, and install Windows for the whole house. They look great and just after 1 day we can hear a difference, no more road traffic or rattling windows.
We were very pleased with our salesman and our installation team we give them a 100% excellent
Sometimes trailers not loaded. Even when told they are. Lot open. Easy to move in. Hard to ask for information at shipping and receiving. No one around.
If I could give Pella a thousand stars, I would. Very happy from salesperson thru installation. Doors are beautiful!
Beware of bullies and bad treatment .....In spite of my extensive discussion with the salesman about the installation method prior to signing the contract, they installed the window to sit 3-4 inches inside from where the former window sat, on the interior window sill. The exterior area, where the former window sat, was left exposed except for a strip of plastic held in place by caulk. This resulted in a loss of 3 inches of window sill depth, loss of 4 inches in each direction of viewing area, up/down and side to side, and left me with an increased maintenance issue (having to ensure the caulk was intact after storms and St Louis summers). Pellas warranty doesnt cover maintenance issues, so Pella accepts no responsibility for water or insect damage resulting from their installation method.I discussed the problem with Pella and they sent 2 big men, a good cop, bad cop, who threaten me with the removal of the window, which would leave me with a big hole in my wall, as previous window was destroyed when it was removed.I tried to resolve this issue through the BBB and Pella lied about our discussions, even to the point where in spite of the fact that I have the cancelled checks to prove I paid in full prior to filing the complaint, they told the BBB that I hadnt paid.Hire them if you are okay with:● Their cheap and fast installation practices becoming your maintenance problem.● What was discussed and promised by the salesman is not honored by the company.● Any disagreement is met with Pella sending bullies to quiet you.● You are okay with them disparaging your name and reputation.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! Extremely overpriced, I received a bid from here and found out shortly after that ABC Supply also sells Pella. ABC Supply was 15% less for the same exact window.
Very helpful. Courteous. Great products.
Would not recommend Pella. After spending $8,000, now I cant get service of internal blind failure unless I pay $150 whether its fixed or not. Bad service and no one cares.
Nice looking showroom and friendly staff to go along with a quality product.
My energy usage has gone down by 30% since the installation of Pella windows a little over a year ago.
Great service very good windows and doors
Great windows and doors affordable
If you have Pella windows or doors, this place has everything you need to replace, change, or fix your Pella windows or built in shades.
Could not be happier from start to finish!
Called to get a broken window replaced. Very unhelpful and rude. Ill never buy from Pella again. .
Great company
Awesome
Great service
