Over priced, cheap hardware and expensive service. Not worth the effort or money, would highly recommend you go elsewhere for doors. Salesman will take advantage of new homeowners with tons of paperwork and numbers, have backup.

The technician who came out was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. In addition to fixing my garage door sensors, he performed routine maintenance to ensure I would not have any other problems with my garage door. We had our doors installed last week. Everything went smoothly from all our questions answered about different door options and the selections, the day before prep with our installation, and the final reveal. More reasonable than other company we checked with. So many compliments.

We used Berry Door & Window to replace our entire garage door, motor and openers. They did an amazing job for a fair price. The door is super quiet and looks fabulous. Im hoping not to need another door but if I do I would definitely use them again.

The quality of the product is excellent. But the installers, they were amazing, the team work was amazing. I highly recommend this company.

We had Berry Door & Window install our garage door about ten years ago, and they did a fine and professional job. There have been no problems with the garage door until this morning. The cables broke so the door was unable to open via electronic means. I spoke on the phone with a young man that was professional and polite. I explained that it was early morning and both my wifes car and mine were now stuck in the garage and we needed to get to work. I was told that all technicians were on other jobs and couldnt be spared and we would have to wait until Monday,leaving us with two useless cars stuck in the garage. No suggestion was made for a solution. He did warn that the door was very heavy- we knew that. With some help we were able to get the cars out of the garage and the door shut. An appointment was made for Monday to fix the problem. You may ask why write this when your cars are out and the appointment has been made to fix the problem. Well, I have recommended this company for many many years, even to members of business groups and the service aspect was disappointing. Not that I didnt get special treatment but the lack of caring and offering of possible solutions to remedy the solution. What if we are elderly, sick, on our way to a hospital appointment or have a disability. None of this was addressed or even thought of by the young man answering the phone. We needed help and were left twisting in the wind, with no other solutions. Even if they had suggested calling a competitor to help us out, we would have still used Berry for the repair. In conclusion, this was not a crime against humanity but a real disappointment in a business I have recommended for years. It will make me think twice before recommending them again- trust abraded.

I have never posted a review ever but this has been such an awful experience. We had them install a $15,000 large wood door last year. We have had problems since the installation. They have come out twice to repin the door although it has never been right. They now claim that it is on us because we do not have a warranty. This is not a warranty issue as it is only a year old and hasnt been right since installation. Please proceed with caution as the service has been poor and accountability is lacking. All we have asked for is that they make it right which they say they cannot do.

After getting several bids we decided to go with berry door and window for a new patio door with blinds between the glass. The salesman said 4 hour install time and they had a open next week. This was in October of 2018. I went against my better judgement and did not take off work. My wife was there alone with our kids during the install. After the install the guys said all done took our check and on their way. I get home from work and notice right away that the door was not right. The top frame rail was bowed about a 1/2 in center. Thus making the door very hard to open as it was compressing the door. Both side rails are bowed as well about 3/8 of an inch. The door was obviously out of square because of this. I immediately called the salesman. No answer. From this day forward he would not return my phone calls. I told him the issues via text and sent him photos. He replies only by text. He did apologize and said the install manager would call me tomorrow. He did. He said I apologize my installers told me how bad that door was. They said it was so twisted from the factory that they had to use more screws than normal to get it as good as it was. I asked him why would they take out my perfectly working French door if they knew this one was bad. He had no answer. He said we will bring out a new door next Monday. I said ok. I took vacation off work and waited for their arrival. Guess what they pull up to my house and unload the new door as I’m standing there with my level and square. The new door they brought was worse than the door they put in my house already. After numerous phone calls to the install manager he says it will be 2-4 weeks for new door. In December I call the owner. Who is more forgetful and lack of concern for customer service as the rest of his staff tells me the door manufacturer in Ohio found that all of their machines are out of calibration and that no body caught it until I did. I was pretty unhappy. He asked me to be patient and they wanted to make this right. I said ok we need to discuss price bc after all the lying and dishonesty I’m not paying much for the door. I’d rather do business with another company. He assured me to not worry about price. The owner said I’ll call you the week before Christmas to give you an update. Guess what. He never did. I called him. He didn’t answer though. I was told in my first phone call with the owner that I would have a new door by end of January. I called him again in January. Guess what he did not answer but he did return my phone call he said everything is still on track for the end of the month. I said ok let’s talk price. He said no need I just want to get this door in for you and we can worry about that later. He said I’ll call you in a week to set up appointment. February 6th 2019 he finally calls and said I want your authorization to order the door prior to ordering (voicemail). Are you kidding me!!! I called him back and left him a voicemail and said we need to discuss price first this has been going on 4.5 months now. He did not return my phone call until 4 weeks later. Now we are in March 2019 and we finally have a install date and the owner said we will install the door and cut you a check for xx dollars. I figured this was because of the repeated lies and failed communication and the fact that this has been going on for almost 5 months. So I take another days vacation for day of Install. 30 minutes before arrival of install crew the owner calls me and says we won’t be issuing a check to you. Instead you owe us a check for a thousand bucks. I said are you kidding me. I said if you would have told me this at the beginning I could have found another company to do business with. Now I wasted another day vacation thanks for calling 30 minutes prior to the appointment. I said you asked me 3 different times to be patient you wanted to make this right. His only response was sorry we couldn’t resolve this issue have a good day. WOW. I wouldn’t do or recommend using this company for any services. Do your homework is all I can say.

Terrible follow-up after the sale.. warranty issues. This door was custom sold and installed by Berry Door. Glass was defective after instalation and trim is now defective on exterior door. Their statement is the door is facing west. This is a $6, 000.00 door and we cannot get them to call us back. Matt Zaner is the owner. I would at least like a courtesy call back!
