We had our snorkeling lesson with Jessica today and we are thrilled. My husband and I were concerned that our 12-year-old daughter might have difficulty learning to snorkel. She was very apprehensive at first but Jessica gained her trust. Little by little she became more comfortable with Jessicas calm way of teaching as well as her knowledge of snorkeling. We are all ready to head off to vacation with snorkeling as the highlight. I highly recommend Jessica as your snorkel instructor. Shes super nice and provides you with all the tips you need for your equipment as well as how to deal with surprise foot cramps!! I recommend Y-kiki and Jessica!!

We just had the BEST service at the Olive location. We initially bought snorkeling sets at DSG and went to Y-Kiki for some accessories. Valerie and her team ended up putting together better quality sets for us for the same price as DSG and also ensured that everything fit properly, etc. We would never have gotten this level of service at DSG and definitely not Amazon. Thank goodness there are still a few specialty stores around with people who actually know what they’re talking about! We feel so much better about our upcoming trip after getting geared up at Y-Kiki!

Have not been in the water in 5 years. Had all my tanks hydrod and all my regs rebuilt. All other equipment tested and had everything back in new condition in only a couple of days. Best part is that hydro is done by 1 of the staff! That is SO convenient. Everybody is super friendly, they give you space to shop around but are immediately available for questions. Cant wait to plan a trip through them in the future

All of the staff and instructors are extremely helpful. I needed one on one instruction since I was not as brave as other people! Joey was very patient and walked me through the training at my own pace. Now I go diving every year on trips through the shop because I love it so much!

The owner of the shop, Valerie allowed me to come in by appointment due to the present circumstances. Very helpful with all of my questions.I live in the St. Charles area, but called around and decided to make the drive over to the Chesterfield location based on my phone conversations with Valerie and the other local Scuba Diving stores. She offered me a elearning option that worked well for my schedule.
Great place for dive equipment and great knowledgeable staff
The staff is great and the shop is well recommend but what will always kill me being able to choose it over everyone else is how inconsistent their pricing is. Just tonight I went in to purchase regulators and was asked to pay a totally different price from what I was quoted by a margin of over $50, other times they will give you 10% off or not just depending on if the person who checks you out likes you that day. To me that is either ignorance or dishonesty and I cant fully support a shop that does either.
Ken and Valerie and the rest of the staff are great to work with. They go out of their way to make sure a customer is happy with their gear and offer expert advice on everything. I am fortunate and blessed to work with this shop and people working there in giving me a wonderful diving experience in not only providing me with top equipment but also taking great advancement classes and scheduling me for amazing diving trips through the shop. I look forward to a great relationship with them for anything in the future
First did business for the kids course - no issues. Then paid for myself and my son to get certified. At the time, the shop offered a $100 discount on buying gear with the purchase of classes. At the end of the course, we asked for the discount on some gear and the owner Valarie refused to honor it, saying I had to purchase before the pool work (which was not stated anywhere). Then, she changed the terms on the website and later said I was the first person to ever misunderstand them.She admitted the discount doesnt cost them any more or less depending on when we took it. So why not just give us the discount, change the terms and move on? Right? That was my thought too - she didnt do the right thing and I have never been back since. Consequently, never finished open water either. Turned out to be a waste.Just be aware of the business philosophy of the ownership. Substantive reviews are rooted in the handling of a challenge. Fail.
Ive done two classes with this shop and have had an amazing time during both. Cavern with Bill and Zombie with Peggy! Their knowledge of caverns and zombies was exceptional! I dont like taking classes, but these guys are changing my opinion on that. So much fun!
I have found such a great group of people on every trip, who are inclusive and not cliquish. The people that Val attracts to her company are fun and friendly and will make you instantly feel like you belong. Not to mention very well organized trips with great dive masters like Steve and Scotty as well as Val. They come prepared, they love to have fun, and you will highly enjoy the experience. Ive been impressed with their ability to help me buy the things I need without overselling me.

The Y-kiki Staff is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond for their customers. Their instructors and dive masters are all extremely knowledgeable making for a pleasant experience in class. They offer numerous classes, even freediver! I can continue to go on and on, but really, you should go in and meet the friendly staff & talk scuba!
I was in the shop a week ago to get my airgun tank filled (4500psi). The young guy who was going to fill it told me he could get it to 4200 psi but he had to recharge his tank bank. I had to leave it for 1 1/2 hours and came back. When I got home my tank was charged to 3000 psi and was charged $8 for a fill.So what is it, incompetence or dishonesty?

We love the staff at Y-kiki. They are very helpful and friendly. We have been diving with them several times and enjoyed every trip. We bought our equipment there and have had it serviced there . They are a full service shop, from equipment to repair to travel and advice. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Had an issue prior to arrival, got a call from the owner, she apologized and made sure to make it right. Cant give enough praise for how she handled it, we all make mistakes, its how we handle them that makes the difference and they went above and beyond to fix the issue. Very friendly and accomodating shop, well stocked and very neat. Valerie was there both times and couldnt have been friendlier and genuinely seemed to care about how our trip went. Thanks!

Our Boy Scout Troop is taking two crews down to Florida Sea Base and Y-Kiki was recommended to us by almost everyone we talked to. The office staff is extremely helpful and will answer a thousand questions. The OW class instructors carry that attitude into the classroom, the pool and eventually the waters of Mermet Springs. Valerie and Bill have been nothing but extraordinary in making the process very easy and fun. They even sponsor a Venture Crew that has its meetings underwater! This is a classy operation that makes everyone feel welcome.
Average experience with folks in store. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Mike, however, our pool instructor, was awesome.

I have never had such a bad experiance with customer sevice in my life. I had bought a wet suit, mask, and snorkle from this place. The people at the teson fery location where really nice and helpful. But than i had some financial trouble and was glad to see that they had a 7 day return policy. So i took the stuff back and they said they would have to mail me a check because the only person that could give me my money back was the OWNER. They said that they would mail is right away and it would be there my wednesday AT THE LATEST. Wednesday comes no check. Thursday comes no check. Friday i call them and they say they will have the general manager call me in 20mins. They never called back. I than called them Saturday and they said the owner the general manager and the book keeper where all out and to just give it till monday. Monday came and no check so i went to the shop where i got the stuff and they said the owner was at the creave core location and would give me a check for the amount. When i finally got there she took me into the back and started saying that they think theat the financial situation that i had told her about was bullshit and that i was just basically an impatiant child. Im almost 22 years old... she than said that she would not give me the return and told me to drive home ( an hour and 30mins away ) and to wait for it. After a heated argument she than said she would refund it as long as i payed for the cost of canceling HER check. I told her no. After another 10 mins of argueing she finally wrote a check for the amount i needed. While she insulted me and told me i was a lier and that she would sue me if the other check got cashed along with the one she just gave me. I gave her my drivers liceance and told her to go for it. Moral of the story here is that if you buy somthing from this place you better hope you like it and it does not break the moment you leave this place because they will give you hell to get that money back.
