I had a very good experience updating my kitchen with quartz countertops and backsplashes with Stone Trends I worked with Rebecca Gaehle. I was able to initially send some pictures to get preliminary information. I made an appointment to view the different examples of quartz. It is so nice they have a warehouse with large samples to choose from. Fairly quickly, they were out to measure my kitchen for the countertops. Yes, it does take time to make them, but worth it. Install went great and then measurement for the backspashes. Now those are installed and I love the way it turned out. A few glitches along the way, but taken care of quickly. Great sales experience and install very professional.
Very pleased with the laminate countertop . Communication with Jamie . And the work of the installers who also measured. Thank you
I want to start this review by saying that I have beautiful counter tops in my brand new kitchen and I will love them for as long as I am in this house. However, I must question whether the stressful and disappointing journey we went through to get to this point was worth it - especially when there are other Cambria dealers in town (though stone trends will tell you they are the only one). First of all, when they templated our counter tops they missed a section, which was easily fixed. Next, our install date, which they advertise is 10 - 14 days from template date, was pushed two additional weeks because of a scheduling error (there was another customer with our same last name). This delay essentially halted our renovation and pushed our completion date back. Finally, we approved our template, our delayed install date came, and the seams were cut completely wrong. Our contractor rejected the slabs on the spot because the cuts and veining were so egregiously messed up and did not match the approved template. It then took 4 additional weeks, another personal trip to their showroom (40 minutes away from where I live and work) to rectify the situation. It was explained to me during this last trip that Cambria Brittanica veining never matches up perfectly and that I needed to have realistic expectations based on the quartz I chose. The manager on our project, who I must say did work very hard to help us, had not been there the day we originally picked out the counter top, and apologized that no one had explained that to me initially. Either way, I find it interesting that their stance is we can never get the seams to match when other vendors strive to match every seam. Our entire experience with Stone Trends was that we kept falling through the cracks of their system. I do want to emphasize, once again, that in the end, our counter tops are incredibly beautiful and the veining does for the most part match up because ultimately they put seams where there were no veins --- but I do think that others may find similarly fantastic countertops without all of the obstacles we experienced. The first two photos below are the rejected original (late) counter tops. The second two are the rectified counter tops. Note how they matched the white for the seam on the first piece and the second piece is not lined up perfectly, but in the grand scheme of our kitchen it is not noticeable.
Great place, loved the people and the service, renovated my kitchen and bath, looks beautiful now!
I love my new counter top and Brandon and DJ did a fabulous job installing it. They were very professional & capable, but also friendly and courteous. Kudos to them for a job well done!
I absolutely love Rebecca at StoneTrends; she took such care of me and was always available to answer questions that I had. I couldn’t be more pleased with my beautiful quartz counter and one bowl sink. I highly recommend StoneTrends and Rebecca G! Thank you for breathing new life into my kitchen!
Chris was very helpful narrowing down counter options. Ten days from our appointment Kyle and Brian did an exceptional install and were right on time. We will absolutely send our clients your way. Thanks for owning all the small details. It turned out great!!!
During a pandemic, you would think the crew coming into your house would be masked. Completely rude and disrespectful for not entering the house with one at all. It’s different if the home owner says you don’t need to wear one. After 5 months of quarantine, and not knowing where the workers have been, my family and I could all be infected.
This place is maddening. While they have interesting slabs available, they refused to give us a price per square foot... We were unable to make a decision because they refused to give us the information we needed. They demanded to know how much we were going to buy before they would tell us the cost per square foot... We were at the very beginning of planning the renovation so we did not have measurements on hand. Obviously, the less you buy the more they are going to charge you. Whats more, despite having 3 people standing up front when you walk in, only 1 of them seemed to have any semblance of a clue as I what they were doing. Out of curiosity, I asked how long they had been open. I was shocked to hear they had been open for many years. The place operates like they just got into the solid surface market a few months ago and are still getting the kinks worked out. If youre interested in getting frustrated and taken advantage of, this place is probably for you. If that doesnt sound like a good time, there are a ton of reputable companies around the St. Louis area ready and willing to help you quickly, efficiently, and to deal with you fairly and transparently. My advice is to steer far and clear of this business.
Product was good, but the construction practice wasnt top notch. The backsplash was cut into separate pieces, and the veins did not match up. There was a 1 offset (see picture). They trimmed the wrong end of the piece. Completely preventable.....They resolved it with a nominal discount
Thank you to Shelli and the staff, we are thrilled with how our countertops turned out. Everyone there were extremely helpful. Fantastic.
I got Cambria countertops from StoneTrends today they look great! We have used them for multiple projects and they have definitely exceeded my expectations. My experience with the process from scheduling, measuring and installation have been good.
I needed two small pieces of stone for my basement shower that Im finishing myself. (Bench seat top and side) Called them and they had me come down and finalize what i needed. After the run around i got a $435 dollar quote. Went to Express Granite in St. peters $190.
We had cambria quartz installed in our kitchen. Worked with Dayl. Could not be happier. The initial quote was done spur of the moment. Dayl took time out to meet with me as a walk in. She gave me an instant quote, took me out to the work area to show me actual big slabs of the quartz I was looking at and answered all my questions. She even then repeated herself when my husband showed up. The measuring process was quick and easy. We even asked for a seam location that is not typical and had no push back. Install of the quartz and haul away of our old granite was a lot faster than expected. The guys that showed up for that were efficient and professional. The new counters are spectacular. all seams and patterns match up beautifully. The veining is right in line with the next piece, making it seem like the big L shaped counter is one large piece instead of 3 pieces. You can hardly even feel the seams, much less see them. We love our new kitchen! thank you Dayl and StoneTrends.
Nothing but good remarks for StoneTrends and their salesperson, Matt Nicks! We were referred to this company from a family member. Matt got us an appointment right away to see their showroom & warehouse. Even though we had a budget, Matt was still able to show us dozens of options out of the hundreds they had available. We are not interior designers so his knowledge and insight was also much appreciated. The installers were very quick and professional. We are so happy with our new countertops! From start to finish the process was way easier than we anticipated.
Beautiful Countertops, love the Work! Great job Guys Two thumbs 👍👍
Is it possible to give less than one star? Horrible, horrible, horrible. They lost one piece to be installed. How can that happen. Second time, they brought the vanity top with the incorrect edge. Third time, the vanity top had a rough cut, not polished. Come on. Fourth time, the vanity top has an edge that is not all away around. Why you ask. StoneTrends installer incorrectly wrote down one FOOT and not one INCH.When will the nightmare end? Rhetorical question. the Answer is clear; when StoneTrends is out of our lives.
Stone trends did an excellent job on all of you counters in our new house! We love them!
Dale was so helpful. Great experience!
We couldnt be happier with our Cambria Countertops from StoneTrends. The toughest part is picking from the huge selection in their showroom, but theyve got great color match samples in their customer center. The installers were great, taking the time to get it right and explaining how to care for it. Great company!
Just had Cambria kitchen countertops put in by StoneTrends. It was a frustrating experience to say the least. The miscommunication, lack of communication and poor customer service we experienced from StoneTrends was atrocious. Steer clear of this company. If you want Cambria, find a different company to work with. We love the Cambria in our kitchen and highly recommend it. StoneTrends, however is a different story.
Our Cambrian countertops came out great. Loved working with these guys.
They have nice quartz countertops there to look at with a big selection
Great selection, great people. It all worked out as I was told.
