This game shop is absolutely fantastic. The folks in there were super friendly. The owner made me feel very welcomed and was able to provide a really great atmosphere to hang out and purchase products, provide tips and tricks, and play some cards. I’m not a native to the area, but this place is quite exceptional. I played MTG with several of the folks there and I’ve never had such a great experience, considering that I’m a newbie and I’ve never met any of the players before. I would strongly encourage anyone, experienced or new players, to go to this shop to support them. The people there are awesome and the owner is a really cool dude. I cannot recommend this place enough and I wish this store existed where I normally live. Please support them!

Great local store. I showed up to play Magic the Gathering, and both the staff and local players were friendly. Theyre a small-ish location, but their selection of comics and trading cards was impressive.

Edit: Checked back today for the new modern horizon set. Seems the gift card bonus is card and their price are back to be the best in the area. I’ve adjusted my rating and sent in a pre order.This used to be one of the best places in St. Louis to get Magic The Gathering products. However, the store has raised their prices and started offering gift cards rather than discounts. There are better places to go unfortunately.

Love this store, great atmosphere, not pressured to buy anything but reasonable prices so you want to, just because they are so friendly.

Went last night and i looked around for about 15 minutes. It was not busy at all and they had 2 workers but not one of them greeted me or offer help. Cursing alot was all i heard from one of them. Go somewhere else where you can get better customer service.

This is the best comic and MTG shop in the area. Rob really knows his stuff and will make sure he gets the right answers if he doesn’t know something. He will order what you want if he doesn’t have it in stock and doesn’t gouge prices for high demand product like other shops in the area.

Big fan of darkside, the owner Scott is nice and always happy to help with anything. The other employee Rob is also awesome and always willing to help you with any questions or products. They have a good selection of magic the gathering products as well as x wing the miniatures game, board games, star wars destiny, Pokemon cards and comics. Great place​ to bring friends and play games. Plenty of tables for a variety of different things. Great store highly recommend.

Just getting into comics and The Dark Side is the perfect place to begin! Has a ton of the familiar DC and Marvel super hero comics but also has a ton of more obscure comics, including ones with badass female characters. As a woman I felt very comfortable shopping and discovered some gems. The owner was very helpful and personally showed me comics he thought I might enjoy. Definitely recommend, cant wait to return!

Its about time a store like this came to West County! The selection is good and growing every day, and the proprietor is friendly, knowledgeable, and a real enthusiast about everything he sells. The atmosphere and service are top-notch and the floor plan is spacious enough for some really good community events. If you have any interest in comics, board games, or especially Magic: The Gathering, you NEED to check this place out ASAP.

Comics, Magic the Gathering, and X-Wing Starfighter seem to be the meat and potatoes of Dark Side Comics & Games. There is a smattering of board games, Role Playing manuals and a few other odds and ends located here.While I am much more into the Board Games and Role Playing, the owner of the store was very welcoming and let me print off a character sheet. The store atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable.I am very thankful that they host an D&D Adventure League near my house and I plan to purchase card sleeves for my board games (and other odds and ends) here to help support this wonderful gaming center.

My new go-to place for comics! Great service, the store is very bright and the staff are so friendly. Finding a good comic books/trading card store has been a hassle for me over the years, and Im lucky to find such a great place in the Chesterfield area. Also, perfectly placed next to a variety of restaurants (and cake store!!)

First off let me say such great service, I love the atmosphere of the place, every one is just really positive. its a great place to check out some new comic books, or look at some of the cool roleplay games they have available, like dungeons and dragons! they also have quite a good selection of Magic The Gathering cards on display as well. overall just a wonderful store for a great comminity
