I have always loved this store & all things kitchen they sell. Never be intimidated by a sales person, they are trained to be helpful, much like Trader Joes. If I need their help, Ill gladly take it, otherwise when told Im (OK) they always leave me alone! Ive been in this Chesterfield store MANY times, ever beautiful, clean as a whistle with friendly staff, what more can you want? IMO: I always try to engage the employees in conversation, I feel it acknowledges that I appreciate their being there.
Horrible customer service! Snoody rude staff horrible people skill. You would think working at a mall they would know how to treat people. We all know you make under $20 an hour. Stop acting like your too good to help out your customers. Dont forget that without customers, you dont have an job.
The reason this review has 1 star is because there is no option for 0 stars. My wife, son, and I popped into this store after a movie. We were constantly accosted and harassed by the staff (we were approached every 30-45 seconds). They were quite pushy, but we tried to ignore them.An older, blonde associate approached my 4 year-old son and asked him directly if hed like an Easter cookie. He said yes and she stood up and tried to hand me a bag of $22 iced Easter cookies saying, Were not actually sampling them out, but theyre available for purchase. I was dumbfounded. When we got to the register to purchase an Easter egg coloring kit (we did not buy the cookies), the staff behind the counter started bickering about whose sale it was going to be, eventually settling on some random associate.Williams Sonoma should really do something about this store. It was one of the trashiest retail experiences I have ever had.
