I normally shop here, but after my experience on 10/7/2020, I will NEVER give them another dime of my money. Employee, Becky (according to my receipt, that was her name), was absolutely rude! I noticed well before I checked out she was constantly watching me, rather than paying attention to the customer at her register. I was looking at masks by the register. Once I picked 2, I stood behind the same gentleman she took forever to checkout due to watching me. I noticed he paid with cash and she handed him his change and receipt (she placed it in his hand). Once it was time for me to checkout, I handed her my money, and held out my hand for my change. Becky proceeded to go around my hand, it was very pronounced, to place my change on the counter. After I collected it and put it away. She did the exact same thing with my receipt, at this point I was 100% sure these actions were deliberate. It was almost as if she waited for me to put the money away before even getting the receipt so she could display these tacky actions once more.

The place is cute, there is no doubt about that. They are friendly when you walk in and check out. However, I received a gifted Kendra Scott necklace from a friend for Christmas and I gifted my mom an initial necklace for mothers day. Both necklaces have tarnished and made my neck, and my moms necks turn green. Sad that my friend spent so much money for a knock-off necklace for me and I spent the money for a necklace that my mom cant even wear. If they are going to charge so much for their jewelry they should be testing the products before they decide to sell to the public. I love to support small businesses but two necklaces, different brands, show me that they dont care what they sell as long as they make their money. High priced items and low quality makes me afraid I will have to take my business elsewhere. Ive attached a picture of the tarnish happening on the back of my necklace.I do want to point out that I know that the quality of these products are not in their hand but they do have control over what they sell.

My sister and I went to She to purchase a gift for our mother. Although the shop was a very nice place with nice things and great prices. The customer service was horrible. We were never greeted with a hello by anyone or asked if we needed any assistance. And there was only one customer at the time and several free employees to assist us. I felt very unwanted and unwelcome. Due to that I will never shop here. Being a person who has worked in customer service for over 12 years I would suggest you all. Re train or work on your skills. No customer should be treated that way.

Just happened to pop in for a first time after a visit to the Credit Union and I was pleasantly surprised. Warm greetings, extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff.Very nice quality items definitely worth the price. A overall pleasant first experience, a return visit in the future.

Lovely store and high end products BUT....sales staff did not greet when walking in, nor did they ask if I needed help. Also not sure why customers cannot use store restroom. Holding several items of clothing and asked if could use the bathroom.?..was told I could walk ACROSS the street....BEHIND the bank ...and AROUND the corner to use a restroom. Are you kidding me??Have spent a ton of money in this store when at last location. Staff was much friendlier AND you were allowed to use the restroom. Won’t be getting anymore of my money....back to Penelope’s.

Such a wonderful place to shop! If you need a gift, something for yourself or just want to browse, you will not walk out of here without buying something that you must have! Although the store isnt huge, their displays are well done and you could spend a lot of time in here looking around! Go check them out.

Cute shop, but you definitely will feel judged here if you do not show up looking the part. Considering on a normal day I would be dressed in Lilly or another cute brand that fits in the service you receive is completely different if you show up another day in casual clothing, or perhaps it had to do with my race.Either way, I felt unwanted and honestly hurt at the remarks made and will not be giving my money to a small business who is racist, judgmental, or prejudice because they THINK someone does not have the money to be in there store.
