I rented a book and the rental was due on 12/20. One day after my last final. I am an evening student at Delaware Law and work full time and can get crazy during finals. I did not have time to return the book until I was done with my last final which was one day before the rental was due. Allow students some extra time after finals to return the books, it is not the end of the world. They charge fees right away. I went yesterday to return it and the store was closed, even though it said 6pm on the website. I rent books on amazon, and they allow up to 3 weeks after finals to return them. I am very disappointed, you are supposed to try to make it easier on the students not harder and charge fees, we are already broke. Last time I rent books from this bookstore.

Now that the book store is under new management it has drastically improved. I have purchased my course materials there 7 separate times. The first 6 experiences were horrible and time consuming. This last visit was efficient, the staff was helpful and professional and most importantly I was in and out in minimal time. I would recommend this book store to a fellow student now. I truly have no motive for this review. I simply had a great experience this time and I am recognizing the people that made that happen. Whatever management is doing, keep it up. Good job.

The women who work here are lovely so nice to talk to. As for the inventory it is abundant and very Diversified. Its much nicer than the one that used to be underneath University Center the store located this year to where it is now and it was a great transition its beginning to look like that figure universities such as Westchester or Rowan you can get clothes, books, Gadget, and gifts for the whole family there. You can even pre order online and pick up in store which is what I did for most of my books that I ordered through Widener

Once I placed my online order I received an email saying I would be sent a second email when my order has shipped. Over a week later I still hadn’t received the second email, so I reached out to the store inquiring about an update on my order. I heard nothing from the staff, no apology or explanation. A few days later I finally received the second email informing me that part of my order shipped and the other part was backordered, with another note saying I would be notified again when the last item gets shipped. This didn’t upset me since I was willing to wait and I understood this isn’t Amazon Two day Shipping! Once again it was over a week later when I received an email with an order update. Excited with the hope that I could let my family member know to expect the last item soon, I open the email to discover my order was canceled. Since the order was a gift (and an item that isn’t easily purchased in store), I quickly responded asking why my order was canceled. Two weeks later and I still have not heard from any staff. To keep my wording nice/polite - I’m not happy at all with how they conduct business. I will sooner spend more money on a custom Etsy purchase then deal with the hassle/unreliability of this store.

The place can be expensive however the customer support is great. The person that was helping went above and beyond and was constantly looking and buying the books that I need. When they couldnt get a book for me they made a note so I could show the government and I had to order it online for reimbursement. Overall I am very surprised with the support.

The bookstores new location looks nice. The hours are very inconvenient and so is the process of using funds from your student account to purchase your books. I thought the price match was a great idea but they are picky about what they are willing to match.

The people are nice when you come in the store they greet you and say may we help you let us know thank you they are very polite
