Simply put, she went out of her way to assist me, explain the process, and make me feel very secure in choosing Public. Good service, clean units. They did unexpectedly increase the price of my rent by $25. Never discussed that this was going to happen when I booked the unit.

It is always a pleasure when renting a unit with Public Storage; especially since I use it for both personal and business means. The employees there are attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is also very welcoming. It’s been really hectic renting out several storages for my boss during the pandemic; but I especially love the efficient and professional service we receive at the 1430 S Military Hwy store. I would like to express my appreciation for James. He is very knowledgeable and patient; especially being on three -way with my extremely busy boss and me. He gave her all relevant information and different options for storage units to cater to our growing Agency’s needs. It is so great to know that through all the setbacks due to the pandemic public storage is still at its best providing great customer care and support. Thanks!!

The unit itself was great, it was just the right size for my roommates and I to store all our things. James is an amazing employee, he personally oversaw our whole check in as well as our check out experience and made everything so much easier. This man deserves a raise for providing the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. 10/10

If youre looking to store things on you first try I recommend here! James has an amazing personality and clarifies anything you do not understand. He takes his time with you and ensures that everythings works for you so when you come back its smooth sailing. They also have an app where you can open the gate without getting out of the car (which I think is a great feature for those who have difficulty with mobility) and convenient when its hot! Definitely would recommend! (:

I was desperate in obtaining s storage as I had only 3days to prepare, then Lo & Behold I run into Karen. She was a God Send and got me straight as an arrow. Wow!!! Let me start off by saying that my experience with this location has been simply amazing!! The on-site rep Ms.Tammy was super helpful in making sure my unit was ready almost instantly, followed up to ensure I had everything I needed and helped me download the app so I could access the gate with a simple click! Went there today to rent a unit. I was greeted in the office by Mya who was very professional and courteous. I was very pleased by the professional service at this establishment. She explained everything in detail. I give the Company five stars for the service at the front desk, five stars for the unit size/price and five stars to the Management in there training employees properly.

Tammy is fine. The space is fine. What Im unhappy about it the pricing being subject to change at any time. I just got the unit in july 2019 and just received notice that my 60.00 unit will be 77.00 come December 1, 2019. If the price jumps 17.00 every 4 months I wont be able to afford it.

I have to say that this is the best Public Storage facility! The location is perfect, very clean and very secure. The staff especially Miss Tammy are premier Customer Service. Super happy with Lynn, the person who was in the office. I had made reservations through their call center and the reservation was not exactly what I had thought it would be. She immediately asked me exactly what I was looking for and proceeded to look for it. She found it at a different store! She took her time searching online, even going so far as to figure out which would be the better deal for me which location which promotion! I cannot tell you how impressed I am. She lost my business to send it to another store ... because she wanted to please me. That was excellent customer service. She deserves a high 5! The Public Storage I ended up going to the one on Kempsville .... Sarah was just as nice and helpful! So far I am impressed with the company after my interaction with just two employees.

I really like this Public Storage facility. This location is clean, well maintained and in a good location for convenience and security in the Tidewater area. What I like best about this facility is the staff that work there. The staff is always friendly, willing to help and they make me feel appreciated as a customer. The facility manager, Tammy, has been very helpful to me over the last 7 years with respect to my storage needs and strives to make sure that I am a satisfied customer. A good price for storage, easy access and above all friendly, above and beyond excellent customer service. Tammy is an awesome property manager and has 15 years of experience. My only regret is that if I ever move from Virginia that I wont have this very same storage facility to keep my possessions safe.

What an awesome storage experience. Mrs Tammy was more than helpful and absolutely professional. She knew the insurance and outs and everything we needed was taken care of. The prices here were fair enough and they actually have a direct withdraw feature that comes straight out of your checking account which is perfect so no worries about payments.. all in all a really great time here!

Tammy was amazing with customer service! She always made sure I paid on time and with my life being as busy as it is it was very helpful! But, on the other hand I moved my belongings out of the unit 88A and my couch was WET even though it was covered with the plastic provided by public storage my 3 month old couch is kind of ruined :( I did see them updating somethings but I believe they may need a new roof? I did put in my insurance claim in and they were very helpful and I may update this when that comes through but going to a new house and not having a couch to sit on is going to be a pain. Just make sure the unit is DRY when you get it 😔
