I feel very fortunate to have found Concept Computers. I took my “older” Mac to them hoping that they would be able to make it perform like new again. They did just that and a fair price and faster than I anticipated. I highly recommend them.

I encountered a terribly rude young lady working there. I went elsewhere and had a great experience.

I’ve literally stood in line for 20 minutes plus waiting to be greeted or acknowledged. There was a young man in front of me which is perfectly understandable but the customer rep walked to the back as if i wasn’t next.Common courtesy would have been to inform me that some one would be with me shortly. I had an appointment scheduled but i guess that was irrelevant at this point. Poor customer service!

I took my Apple Watch 5 to Computer Concepts - Chesapeake to see what was wrong with it. I walked it and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The services was fast and friendly. He explained to me what the process was and what would happen next and I should hear back from them in a week. Which I did and he let me know my watch was ready for pick up. When contacting Apple to see where I should take my watch they told me to go here and they made me an appointment. HOWEVER the owner told me that I could have come in anytime. If Apple tells you to make an appointment just go to the store when you are ready and he will take good care of you. Also he gave me good advice on how to deal and treat all my Apple products. I will keep going here for all my Apple needs!!!

Computer Concepts delivered prompt, expert service. They ordered the broken part from Apple for my MacBook, filled out the paperwork, and did the repair. The guys were friendly and professional. Id definitely use them again.

Experienced issues with my iPhone under warranty in December. As Apple stores were closed this was the only option. They verified my issue but insisted on popping off my screen to check for water damage. There was none. The guy cracked my screen all the way across and did not offer to fix it. He said he was ordering me another phone because of the defect but after a month of no contact I called he said it never came, he couldn’t help me and that it was my responsibility to find out what was going on. I took the phone into Apple they verified the defect but said they would not fix it without me paying a $279 screen fix fee. I am more than happy to change my review if someone reaches out to help resolve this.

I got myself and my computer into a rough situation. Marvin and a coworker at Computer Concepts in Chesapeake were supportive and fixed the problem. During a difficult part of the fix, Marvin did not give up but found a solution. For any needs regarding Apple products, I will continue to count on Computer Concepts for their expertise.

Computer Concepts has repaired my laptop twice (different problems). On each occasion, the repair was completed on the date promised and the problems were fixed THE FIRST TIME. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgable.

Horrible customer service came in sat for 30 minutes without being addressed no one even came to talk to me. But it worked out for my good I found Mr fix it in norfolk who charged 115 dollars less and has great customer service.Lost a great customer please hire some more ppl

I went to have a service done on my MacBook. When I first walked in, the only thing to greet me at the door was the owner’s dog. After waiting for five minutes in an empty room with a random dog, a guy finally came out and bluntly denied my issue. All though it wasn’t his fault, he could approached the situation in a much nicer way.

I went there to have battery in my iPhone replaced. Before blindly replacing they advised of the cost and reviewed my options with me before agreeing to proceed. Very transparent.

Great experience. The company is following the covid guidelines so I felt safe. I needed a new battery for my phone. I was told it would be about 2 hours so I left and it was ready when I returned. I was impressed that the woman checked the stock before I left to be sure that the correct battery was there.

Been told they cant fix my screen because the third party screen burned my chip, absulote freaking lies went back to a LEGIT apple store and they replace my screen no problem no burned chip whatsoever. Be careful taking your phone to this location. The manager damaged my sons phone case and claims he knew what he was doing. Then they go on to say that if you dont call back the same day theres nothing they can do to verify you been there. DONT GO THERE YOUVE BEEN WARN!!

I went in the shop, I ask them how much it would be to fix my computer, they gave me a time when they could have it done, and had it done early before I deployed, I felt it could have been done 50 dollars cheaper to just change out the batteries .But I guest thats the cost of business. Screen had to be ordered and was told that if I did not come in 24 hours when screen came in it had to be sent back. I could not come because of Granddaughter’s graduation and that we would have to start the process all over. This was on Wednesday May 26so thinking it had been returned and I had to start over again I did not go back in until June 2 and on that day he told me he had just sent it back on June 1. If I had of known he still had the screen I would have gone on Friday May 29. I had to leave my phone overnight and drive back to Chesapeake at 4:00 the next day to pick it up.I live in Elizabeth City NC. and that made 3 trips I had to make for screen replacement.

So I have a MacBook from 2014, and it got to a point where I could not clear enough storage, or update to newest OS, and since the Genius Bar is closed due to COVID I was MOST excited and pleased to find the responsive service from Computer Concepts. I tried to Google solutions on my own but was getting nowhere. For $222 dollars, and overnight, my computer was fixed and ready to go (I paid extra to have my service expedited) otherwise wait is up to 2 weeks I was told.The service was efficient, and Jeromy was patient and answered all my questions- which makes them invaluable and a gem during these times. Thank you again. Highly recommend them and glad they are there.

It was a confusing experience. I was told it would take 2 weeks and it took 6 weeks. Other than the initial diagnosis I did not receive any update calls or information. After being there a month, I had to call and ask what was going on with my computer, why it was not ready and why nobody had contacted me. Each time I spoke with someone I was given different information which was very confusing and frustrating. I was even told the previous person I spoke with didnt know what they were talking about. They definitely need to work on their communication with customers, instructions on what to expect and some kind of instruction when you pick up other than what you owe.I will not be going back!

Needed to replace the battery in my iphone 6. Despite the challenges of the virus,, the drop-off visit was quick and the staff was helpful. I expected to receive a call when the phone was ready but never got one. About 3 hours later, I called them. The pickup visit was also quick. The technician offered useful advice on battery longevity.

2020-6 I have always been afraid to bring my computer to a repair person. I was trying to bring my computer to the Apple store to get it fixed but with the Coronavirus they were not open. On the list of Mac repair was Computer Concepts so I gave them a call. I brought my computer to them and paid for emergency diagnoses because I could not wait 3-5 days for a diagnoses. I got a diagnosis in the same day and if I would have gotten it to them a few hours before ( I came at lunch) they would have had it the same day. They were amazing and figured out what was wrong very quickly and updated my operating system because I was way behind. I would definitely refer anyone to them to get their computer fixed. It is hard to find people who work on mac computers, so I will definitely be going back if needed in the future.

Service personnel were gracious and infinitely patient with my endless questions. They helped me over the phone and in the store. Due to COVID they were backed up but when I got my computer back it ran perfectly!

I had an old computer that would not boot up but the hard drive was ok. I purchased a new computer and Computer Concepts was able to clone my old drive onto the new computer seamlessly putting me back in business. Data intact. Super good news. Thanks guys.

Great service! My laptop battery completely died - wouldnt turn on with charging - and I dropped it off and they were able to replace it and return it to me the same afternoon! Reasonably priced.

Typical computer repair shop looking to charge for normally warrantied services. Authorized by Apple but they have there own charges and fees you wouldn’t receive from Apple. Would not recommend.

Computer Concepts at Chesapeake recently helped me the desk-top computer they custom built my years ago when I lived near their store in Yorktown. Jeremy and Thomas in Chesapeake were patient and professional with my many questions, and got my computer updated for Windows 10 and other regular maintenance needs. Its been my best computer yet, and I owe it to their attention and detail.

I brought my MacBook into Computer Concepts and as I filled out paperwork to check it in, a gentleman came over to check out what my issues were before I turned it in, even though he was obviously very busy. He was able to point out that my issue had in fact been resolved when I called AppleSupport, and helped me get set up so that I didnt even have to leave it with them. Not everyone would do that - an ethical, helpful business.

Great people. I deliberately waited to give this repair until after 30 days because I wanted a chance to see how everything worked. It works great. When they confirmed my old iMac was D-E-D dead, they were honest and didnt waste time for either of us. Fortunately, I had a full backup. While I didnt buy the used machine they found for me, they cheerfully accepted the used machine I bought from the Apple store and did a full restore. I chose a newer machine with slightly less RAM.The restore was complete. The new operating system is working fine. I would go back to them for another repair in a heartbeat.They have a very few peripheral supplies, no Ethernet cords, etc., but those things are easily obtained and most people who have been through more than one computer have extras lying about. (Ask me how many power cords I have in unopened packages.)The guys are great and never once talked down to me. That is important. The only I didnt raise them 5 stars is because once youre perfect, the only way to go is down. They are great!

These guys wanted to charge me ~$700 to replace my 2016 MacBook Pro screen. Apple’s websites states the price at $199. No thanks!

This is the worst company I have dealt with., I dropped my phone off to get checked out. I was told they would run a diagnostic. Then I called 3 days later and was told they couldn’t and they needed to replace the screen and they would call me when it was in. I called 7 days later and was told they wouldn’t do anything, they hadn’t even ordered the screen and I just had to replace it, then when I voiced my concern I was told they would hang up on me when I wasn’t yelling or cursing. Go to Apple for your repair, at least you will be treated properly.

These guys are unprofessional, rude and completely not very customer service minded.Manager stated that he actually spoke with me on the phone telling me that my hard drive had failed and the data cannot be recovered and that told him I would come by and pick the computer up. He further went on to say that he had a good memory and would not forget the call, implying that I was lying or could not remember an important phone call of this type.He calls many people with similar types of issues seeming to remember everyone. I clearly would remember a call concerning a business computer. Nonetheless, I would not trust these guys with anything of value as they are truly “hacks“.Before throwing away someone’s computer a second call and/or email would’ve been appropriate, wow that would be really difficult!Buyer beware!

Jeremy was super helpful and informative about correctly addressing our computer’s needs (new hard drive). The turn around was less than 24 hours and he completely solved the problem. It runs like new!

I wanted to order a replacement logics board through him so I can install it myself. He said I have to have him install it. If I buy it, then I have every right to install it. Then he asked about my battery (making long story short). He said if I didnt buy it from Apple, then its no good. Guess what? It works perfectly. And he is very expensive. I dont trust him at all. Im shopping elsewhere.

After waiting an hour and a half just to be told that my phone couldnt be repaired and a new one would have to be ordered when I voiced my concerns about having to wait more time because they couldnt figured how to put the ticket in the manager Jeremy got smart out gos mouth and waa as very unprofessional.
