The owner (I think he is anyways - and if he’s not, he should be gone) is very rude and unprofessional. Did not honor the 10% coupon found on the website. Claims the website doesn’t exist and rudely told me “call the website and get your discount and next time tell me you want the discount over the phone before you come here to pay”. Which one is the problem? Anyways. Picked up the car after starter was repaired. Had a check engine light on at pick up. Asked about it and the response was “I replaced the starter, not my problem” I nicely said that the light wasn’t on when I brought the car and the response was “tow truck brought the car”. Thank God for the technician who jumped in and decided to help. Turns out the reason for the light was a plug that they disconnected during the repairs and then reconnected but not good enough. Fixed it. So thanks for the technician who decided to do the right thing and help. The work done was good but pricy; also 4% fee for using a card (which I didn’t know until I was paying - next time would have been nice to tell me over the phone before I got there to pay…). I would be ok with it if I didn’t have such a rude and unprofessional guy at the front desk. I won’t go back there.

Took our Corvette in (well towed it in), as it was burping oil all over the road. Not good. Went on NextDoor app asking for honest mechanics in the area because I was sure it was going to be expensive. The overwelming concensus was go to Taylor Automotive. In and out in a few hours... fixed as good as new. (Oil cooler line). Cost less than a dinner with my family. I highly recommend Taylor Automotive! They are straightforward when it comes to what you need to have done now and what can wait. They dont try to upsell you on things you dont need which is nice. They are very affordable, friendly and the service is quick and done right the first time!

I had 3 lugs on a camper break off. They fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price.

Very impressed with the quality of work - one being the muffler. When my brother drove my car home - my dogs didnt even move whereas in the past they heard it coming from over three blocks away. Even with an additional task I called in later, I received my vehicle back in ONE DAY! Exceptional customer service, friendly, and honest pricing.

I know when I get an estimate from them it’s going to be honest and there isn’t an up-sell for a bunch of service/repair you don’t need. These guys are very professional and honest. They will tell you what’s going on and fix it without overcharging or upselling useless service. Its not often you find friendly, honest and competent folks to work on your vehicle. Im happy to say that this is one of those shops. Their prices are reasonable and they do good work. They were highly recommended by my friends, and now I know why.UPDATE: It has been a few years since my initial review so I figured it was time to update it. Taylors is still the best shop I have found in the area. Theyll let you know what needs to be fixed now versus what can wait. I drive about half an hour to get to them...it is worth the drive. Ive never had a question about their competence or integrity. A great place for repairs, both big and small.

This is a great little shop for getting work done on your car, however the only reason that I am giving it a two star review is that they didn’t re-connect my E-brake after replacing my rear breaks and drums. They are super nice and very professional though. I am sure that my E-break incident does not happen very often.

I have been taking my vehicles to Taylor Automotive for over 2 years. They have always given me honest and complete understanding of what needs to be done and why. Their charges are very reasonable and they are always friendly. It is as close to going to my very talented mechanic friend in a small town as I can get.

Ive taken my car here on multiple occasions and found Taylors to be honest and fairly priced. Ive always had a quick turn around time and the work has been done correctly without the shady up-selling/unnecessary fixes so many other dealerships try to pull.I have, and will continue to, recommend Taylors to my friends.

Visiting family in the Fentress Airfield area this weekend and noticed a nail in the right front tire. I called Taylor Automotive and they said they could work it in this afternoon. The technician checked and found just a short piece of a screw in the tire that hadn’t gone all the way through. I was on my way in no time thanks to the courteous professionals at Taylor Automotive! Great people wonderful service

I walked in this morning with no appointment set to get my truck inspected. The man working at the counter said I am sorry, it is going to take us a few minutes is that alright? I said sure, how long are you thinking? 15 minutes. I was in and out in a half an hour total.

Very fair and reliable. Other places tried to rip me off with expensive work. This place just replaced my rear tiers and the problem was fix! Saved me about $800.00 in repair that would not have fixed my car from vibranting violently. Highly recommend.
