I was hesitant about this place from just general word about it. But I took a chance. This place did some good work. It isn’t a factory quality paint job by any means, but Winston was always keeping me updated. My car did no cure properly the first time around, but because of their warranty and friendly staff they repainted the whole car and even did some extra work just for any inconvenience. I will say the car overall turned out great! When I did receive my car I have noticed some missing pieces and things not reinstalled properly, but when I brought my concerns up to Winston he always made sure to resolve the issue and more! Winston made the experience very good, and they WILL be seeing me again at this Maaco! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Super happy. This location did a great job with a full paint job of my 2003 Toyota Tacoma. Brian and Tracey were super at communicating and very patient as we tried to figure out the best color. They took the time to make sure we were happy with our choices and went above and beyond to make cards with the different colors - super helpful. Not sure about other locations- but this one is professional and friendly. And the cost was worth every penny! Nicely done Brian and Tracey.

I had gotten a repair estimate from another Auto Body Shop and Maaco was just about $1200.00 dollarscheaper they did a nice job. And Jeff at the Maaco near Military Hwy was very informative and easy to get along with. There was a small delay of when my SUV was ready,but that is understandable since it seems nobody can find good workers since the Pandemic. I am overall happy with the job they did and my Exterra looks like it did before it was wrecked. So I want to thank Jeff for making my experience a good one. The rockers underneath my F-150 were replaced and painted. Cables in the right rear passenger door were replaced. MAACO did an outstanding job. Katie did a super job of taking care of everything. She is the best.

When looking for the best company to paint my car, I took my time. I went to several locations to not only get an estimate but to evaluate the quality of service that I would receive. The first person I met was Jeff who took the time to write a detailed estimate, explained the work that would be done, and explain the warranty. While the price was not the cheapest, I left that day knowing that this was the professionalism I wanted. I came back a second time to schedule the paint job and Tracey gave me another copy of the estimate and gave me the time frame in which the job would be completed. I picked up the car today and I am more than satisfied. If you want to get the best quality paint job on your car with HONEST folks, this is the place to go.

This is my 2nd time, and second vehicle, to useMaaco services. Although each service was on different vehicles and several years apart, the quality of trim repair and paint was excellent in both experiences. This speaks well to the training their technicians go through, in my opinion.

Paint doesnt last. Fades horribly and comes off in 3yrs. If your looking for a temporary fix then this will be efficient

I came to maaco with a little fender and front bumper damage to my Jeep, Winston was incredibly professional and understanding and knew I was on a time crunch to have my vehicle back. Winston took my vehicle in immediately and had it in and out in 2 days! The work was excellent, couldnt even tell it was damaged. I will def be back to this Maaco anytime I am in need again.

This place is great. I was there to get quote for scratch on my bumper. They had let me in quickly with one of the quote provider. He came outside and seen the scratch and went back in shop for buffer and some solution to buff it off. To my surprise he did remove the scratch and it cost me nothing. I went other places and they have gave me quote for $600. This place and people work in front office are awesome. Thank you once again for you help.

The customer service is pretty good. I went to look at my truck and found A LOT of flaws. I said that I wouldn’t receive it until it was all fixed. It did take another 10 days but the work turned out good enough for the price paid. There are still things that could be better, for example, less over spray and a few small areas that didn’t get enough attention but all in all I am pleased.

Got our 2004 Gx470 Lexus hood and sides painted.Perfectly matched paint. The people where so nice.I was there in our 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate wagon and ask could they paint the sides and back! I used MAACO to replace the trim on the front of car. I was told the labor would be $60.00. The final cost was $90.57. When I asked why it wasnt $60.00 the young man said he didnt say that. I paid what was required, but I will not be back for anything. When he had no respect for me or my business, that lets me know what he thinks of me. Thank you for the opportunity to tell what happened.

So Ive used Maaco in Chesapeake several times now. I dont do reviews, but though it necessary to do so now. Maaco in Chesapeake is excellent in every way. The staff, the time frame and the work they do. They have repaired cars of mine and even painted RVs of mine. Excellent job on everything I have taken to them. Excellent quality and service. I recommend using them for any kind of vehicle repair needs.

I got the best paint job. There were two spots that had a small scratch. I took it back and Jeff immediately fixed it. I’ve had 4 vehicles painted here and every time the job was awesome.

It took month for them to finish the truck after being told it would take one and half weeks. Further it was not explained to me I had to pay an extra $95 to have the scratches fixed. So I have a truck with new paint over old scratches. It seems that is a gimic to get more money, but I was not afforded that option. Can you imagine charging $4300 and not fixing scratches and not telling me it would cost only $95 more? This is a poorly run company with poor management. I have had two vehicles painted by other MAACO dealers with no problems. A Nissan and a Toyota. My advice is if you need a paint job go to some other MAACO shop. I am discusted and the manager Bobby would not offer any help. He screwed me good.

This place is awesome! I unfortunately had a hit and run incident and discovered my door was scratched up. With being new to the area I wasnt sure where to get this fixed. I found Maaco on google and saw all the amazing reviews it had, and now I understand why! I spoke with Tracey over the phone and he told me that I can just bring my car in an get an estimate. While I was just planning on receiving a quote, he was able to fix it right then and there! He was extremely nice and was able to explain what kind of scratch was on my car. They will definitely be my go to for any work I need done in the future!

First, I would like to thank the entire team at Maaco of Chesapeake, VA for truly creating a masterful paint job on my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder SE. Their attention to detail, and superb paint mixing brought out the ultimate color that I had so long wanted on this vehicle. The original color was the factory silver mist which did not exactly match my personality. As I had recently decided to keep and modify my truck, I knew that a fresh new color would bring out the true personality of my Pathfinder. I had also visited no less than several paint shops all the way from Chesapeake to Northern VA. Upon a visit in late January 2020 I received an estimate from Maaco of Chesapeake, and they promised that their Team would deliver a masterpiece that I would be proud of! I dropped off my Pathfinder prior to some planned travel, and I can attest to the fact that upon my return to retrieve my truck in March 2020 they did not let me down, my Pathfinder has separated from the pack, and she now stands in a league of her own. I also assure you that Katie, the manager of the Maaco Shop in Chesapeake is dedicated to ensuring Customer Satisfaction. The service was nice and quick. The owner and workers were extremely friendly. They fixed what they said they would and even cleaned the exterior. The price was affordable, so no complaints there. I did however notice in the 2 days my car was left, I had an extra 7 miles on my car.. I’m not too excited about that, and I am not sure why that is, but I can not deny that they’ve done an exceptional job on my vehicle.

Refreshingly surprised by the amazing customer service and great paint job. Had to get our 2003 Audi TT repainted because it had sun damage and some surface scratches. We chose the lowest paint job, same color as the rest of the car, and had the whole thing painted blue. It only took 7 days and they called every time they had a question or a problem arose - making sure I was informed every step of the way. I was able to look at the car and examine every inch before paying making sure I was 100% satisfied. If I notice anything after leaving, I have a one year warranty and they stand by their work so they will fix any issue!I like that they gave me free headlight restoration and a 10% military discount. I highly recommended Maaco for a new paint job, especially if youre just looking to fix up a project car like myself.

Whatever you do, do not take your car to be painted here. They serviced my vehicle through a carvana repair and one of the techs left a massive scratch in my paint... I asked for this to be fixed just for them to do a terrible respray job that left my whole door bubbled. Keep in mind this was a new WRX STI that I now have to pay a REAL professional to fix the paint. Never ever would I recommend this place to anyone! Save yourself some time and a headache and find a real paint shop. Learn from my mistake...

Walked around my entire car to show Maaco rep. what I wanted done. Quote was printed for $1000 on my 1989 Honda CIVIC. Before it was completed the rep called me to inform that my windshield dispenser on hood was broken and had to be replaced to complete paint job. Had no problem with it since 1989. So price went up to $1043. During inspection I noticed two areas around windows that werent painted that was requested. The rep indicated that he didnt put that in the initial quote work order but would have to charge me extra to complete my request. Another mistake that was going to raise my price from initial $1000 quote. At no time was an apology given for the incomplete work. In fact I was asked when I would like to schedule the the next appointment. Customer service is dead @ this location in Chesapeake, VA on Smith street. They lost 2 other potential customers from my place of work also when I shared my experience. We all agreed they should have completed the windows for free. Also the rep didnt remember me or the car that I had dropped off. I had to remind him which car was mine!

Jeff and Brian were professional and efficient when dealing with insurance to ensure my car was repaired correctly. My go to shop for any body work.

Truck was promised to be delivered on Friday and no one called to let us know that would be ready just on Monday.When I got the truck, the floor was wet, the door panel and the windshield were dirty. I went back and they cleaned the windshield but not the door.For the price we paid, customer service should be a lot better.

Its got all kinds of bumps in the paint they said they will wear off they took the lettering off and didnt put it back got red on the black didnt paint one side of the mirrors

My dealings with the staff is all positive. Polite and courteous crew, however the end result not so much. They had the vehicle from a Tuesday thru the following Thursday(8 days) and a storm that probably effected scheduling. I can only surmise they rushed the job, because 24 after taking delivery you can see just how bad the paint job is. Pits everywhere and trunk lid emblems replaced with two sided tape affixed in the incorrect location. The cars finish was in ruff shape and anything would be an improvement, and unfortunately anything is what I got. So if you have an old vehicle you just want to look better, this service may suffice. However if a true first rate finish is your desire, fine the extra 1G and the appropriate establishment, this isnt it.

I waited a few months to write this review, because what good is a paint job review the week after its done? But I had this done last August and now I can fairly say Id recommend this Maaco without hesitation.I had a 2004 Grand Caravan with paint flaking off in large chunks, to include down past all the paint with a little bit of surface rust starting. I didnt want to spend a ton on it, but I wanted it painted.The young man who did my estimate was very courteous and professional. Hed worked his way up from painter to a management position and seemed to really take pride in his work.I went with the integrated clearcoat mixed in paint job, came to $800 and change. Looked nice coming out and you could see they did some actual prep work, filling, etc. Several months later it still looks good.Would I take my expensive late model car or classic to be restored here? Well, maybe not. But for what I needed, I got good work at a more than fair price. And Im no longer the embarrassment of the Target parking lot.

Great work at a reasonable cost!Our car roof, rear, and front bumper sealer were peeling and we needed them repainted. We were hesitant to try this location based off some of the reviews, but since MAACO is a larger chain and the other quotes we looked at with higher reviews cost more, we decided to try it out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not pushy at all! Once it was in the shop it was delivered exactly when they stated it would be completed. I couldnt have been happier with the work done. The car paint looked perfect!We are going to be bringing our older car in to have painted and are looking forward to the makeover.

I bought my car in for damage to right door panel. They gave me an estimate, much less than dealer. Explained what would need to be done and approximately how long it would take. They answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with the outcome. They explained how to take care of it and gave me a brochure.

Paint job and repairs are awesome. Great job! Cleanlyness of my car when I picked it up was not good. The windows and weather stripping had overspray and it looked like they just wiped the windows with an oily rag. Very dirty.
