Went for service due to heater not blowing hot air. Was diagnosed with HVAC temp valve & actuator failure not covered by warranty. This is disappointing considering that I paid $$$ for extended warranty. Now things are worse. Immediately after leaving the dealership the heat started working again and I now have a strong odor of antifreeze in the cabin. I am very beside myself and dont know what to do- Not Happy.

Andy in service at Mall Chevy was great! Elkins Chevy had my car for 3 days and couldnt fix my back up camera. Andy and his team had it fixed perfectly in and hour or so. Everyone was pleasant and made my visit a great experience.

Service reps were helpful and responsive. I dropped my car off on a Thursday (I had an appointment) and it was not done until the following Tuesday. I wouldnt have taken the appointment time had I known it would take 5 days to fix it. We had 5 people sharing 2 cars and really needed the car.

I went there over a month ago and meet JUAN, really nice person and I went back because of him. I called he wasn’t there since I want to buy a car that day (06/08/21) I went anyway. Got there was treat well and feel respected until I didn’t agreed on the price they want to give on my trade. Well I got this attitude from the manager basically saying “take it or leave” and the salesman just look at me giving me the vibe as “Get out”. Well my experience was not great with these gentleman making me feel the misrepresent this company. My point is I am not obligated to take or deal was much you not obligated to take my, just respect your customers like you wanted to be respected or treated.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. MY NEW CAR FAILED INSPECTION 3 TIMES!!! I traded in my Chevy Malibu for a 2014 jeep compass at Mall Chevy a weeks ago (May 2021). I worked with salesperson Dan Reilly (decent guy) but he initially tried to super charge me on the new car payment. I negotiated a price I was comfortable with and we moved on with the trade. The Jeep compass was a used car and I was aware of that. However, I noticed that the car did not have an inspection sticker. I asked Dan why didnt it and would that be an issue? He said no, and that when my tags come in I have to take the car through inspection at MVC and it will pass because Mall Chevy Guarantees 100% pass inspection. Well, my car Failed inspection 3 TIMES. Not only did it fail 3 times but, the service men kept trying to make me drive the car around with a failed inspection sticker on it instead of fixing it and doing their job. After finally saying to them that Im not driving this car with a failed inspection sticker they agreed to keep the car and take it through inspection themselves. They did this only because I made it clear that it is THEIR responsibility that my car is not passing inspection + it was under warranty and that help them responsible. The service men kept my car for a week without giving me a temp car to get around while they fixed my car. I missed work and school AND they did nothing to accommodate me for my inconvenience. All they did, after the 3rd time of the car failing inspection, was finally fix it and handed me my car back with the gas on E. Thats all the accommodation I received. I sent an email to the service manager and general manager and they did not respond or help. They basically sold me a lemon and gave horrible customer service. I will NEVER buy a car from them again. They do shady business.

I purchased a 2018 Chevy Silverado ninety days ago from a Delaware Chevy dealer ship but live by mall chevy. Came out of work on Tuesday afternoon and it was completely dead. Called Chevy for help, had it towed to mall Chevy Tuesday night. John from mall chevy service called at 0830 Wednesday morning to evaluate the situation. John called back 1130 that morning and stated the truck was fixed and ready for pick up, no charge. It was a bad starter. This was a awesome service experience.

I purchased a New Tahoe and they pushed and they pushed for the extended warranty. Then 40,000 miles into an 80,000 warranty they would not cover new struts, even know the warranty covers struts. I will never buy another thing from this dealership again.

Great experience at Mall Chevy. I hate car shopping! But Mike Passaro was great... he did all the leg work for me and I spent very little time at the dealership... Told him what I wanted and it worked out. This is the second vehicle I purchased from them and i will continue to only shop Mall Chevy. Your Service dept. was excellent. However, when I went to your Cashier to pay, she appeared busy, so I patiently waited. I was made to wait several minutes, only to discover that I was kept waiting while she finished watching a video on her phone. When I returned & mentioned it to my wife, she related a similar story to me. To be honest, we may be taking our business to another dealer.

So I wasted money also they gave me incorrect information I took my vehicle to another shop and fix the other issue they mentioned along with a sensor for half the price.

Tried to charge me $350 for a battery. The receptionist told me I was covered then When I get there they try to charge me $120 diagnostic fee to tell me my battery needs to be replaced mind your I’ve only had the car a year! They lie and deceive to get you in there and tell you anything to make you pay obsurd amounts of money. Terrible

I called to find out if the vehicle advertised on their website was on the lot. The person on the phone said yes. He also said there is a Chevy lease deal going on right now with this particular vehicle. I looked on the website and sure enough it there was a deal. I called back to make sure the price is what he says it is and he confirmed that yes it is. I drove to the dealer and test drove the vehicle with my wife and young daughter. We loved it. So when we began talking price, the lease price per month tripled. I told him about my phone conversation 15 minutes earlier and the price and he said thats not true. The price is higher. I showed him the Chevy website and lease deal and he said we dont have to honor that and laughed. So basically they lied about the price to get me in there and try and get triple from me. It is disgusting how slimy car dealerships are taking advantage of the unfortunate auto chip shortage and robbing their customers. To top it off, the sales manager and salesman laughed at me, my wife, and daughter as we walked out. Disgusting!!!!

I bought a new Blazer. It was one of the easiest purchases that I have ever made! Both of the managers Dante and Joey were great. I didnt have to haggle and there were no hidden fees. I know there are markups and labor costs and I did expect to pay a little more because it’s the dealership- the folks who work there are nice and the pricing is not their fault but yikes. Both my husband and I bought our cars here 6 years ago and have come here for service frequently in the past, but I can’t recommend coming here for repairs.

I called the sales department to see if they had a vehicle in stock, gave them the stock number listed, was told it was on stock and currently Chevy has current lease deal for this particular model LT with 3600.00 it would be 369.00 a month. So I scheduled a test drive appointment, went I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by a very friendly salesperson Ben, he brought the car around, took it out for a test drive. Came back to discuss numbers. So the final number was 694.00, when we asked about what we were told, he said it wasn’t on that model. Listen, I figured it was going to be more than 369.00 because we were putting zero down, I was thinking it would be in the 500’s which I had no problem with especially since I was at the Chevy dealer on essington Ave which were super friendly and honest, he told me that amount would be for a LT leather, problem was he had none in stock otherwise, I would’ve never had to have this experience. Getting back to my experience so, the salesperson told me there are 3 LT’s and which Chevy clarified to me there’s no such thing, so now I guess it was a sales manager that came over, never introduced himself, we explained what his employee stated over the phone, his response was oh that’s internet sales they gave you wrong information, well if this is true then why would you have this person answer the phone then, and give wrong information to possible potential customers, then basically said the lease amount will be no where near the lease special. At that point I was completely disgusted since we drove somewhat distance, just to be basically lied to, even though we asked the person at this dealership several times about the lease amount and was told that was the special Chevy was running for this particular model LT, which as I stated before had no clue until that person brought that up to me. So I got up and left, because I just can’t believe how a sales person would take advantage of customers especially during this chip shortage and triple prices, how do you even sleep at night doing this to customers during a time like this and slowly coming back from the pandemic, it’s a complete disgrace.If you are looking for a friendly genuine dealership, go to Chevrolet on Essington Ave in Philadelphia, the staff were friendly, sales manager came over and explained everything to us, and most importantly wasn’t out to rob you! I would’ve bought a traverse from that dealer if they had the model in stock. The best part as I was leaving the salesperson, and whatever the unprofessional person that was with him had smirks on their faces. Well you may be robbing customers now by up charging because you can do this right now, but there will come a time that the chip shortage will be over and car sales will go back to normal, and possibly even have problems moving cars, and you won’t make any money, and this is what you deserve for treating people like this, I have a lot of family and friends, I will make sure I spread the word on what thieves your dealership is, and recommend how wonderful, professional, and honest Chevrolet at Essington Ave is and direct their business to that dealership.

I have taken both of my cars here to have serviced and both times I was told a shorter time then the actual time I waited. This third time has been my final time coming here. We took my husbands truck here to get serviced for a recall and something else. He had a 9am appointment today and he dropped it because the service center didn’t give him an option on waiting with his truck. We get a call back at 4pm tell us that they would have to keep his truck there overnight because they did not get a diagnostic test done for it and when asked if they would be giving him a rental car since they made it an inconvenience for us they told him they couldn’t because a test wasn’t done. So they had our truck for almost 8 hours and did nothing to it. They then try to tell my husband the reason was cause there is only two Diesel technicians that work there. Here’s my question, why would you schedule a service for someone if you aren’t going to have a diesel technician be able to work on it? This is poor customer service and we will be taking our business else where from now on.

I also recently bought my car at Mall Chevy and thought that two free oil changes were included only to find out that it only included one free oil change. Every other car I purchased at that dealership included two free oil changes so I was a little upset to learn this.

Brought truck in hoping to have some relief after accident repairs (13k) having problems with gas gauge and transmission explained problem exactly to what the sales person told me after one hour of labor diagnosing exactly what I had told him with the end result of needing another hour to unassemble my gas tank. My insurance is picking up the tab but was noted on receipt from gmc that customer “forgot repair order” I live ten mins down the road if I knew that the repair order would of sped up the process and saved 140 dollars obviously I would of went home and got it, but was told it wasn’t needed. I was under the impression that mall Chevy was a honest dealership and now feel as I have been taking advantage of, also was contacted to sell my truck by a sales person who works there after making my appointment and honestly after the accident was genuinely considering it but now after this event in the repair facility I have changed my mind and am considering writing bad reviews for the dealership all together as I don’t want to see people who are going through the same situation and know they are stressing take their vehicle to a “reputable” place and be taken advantage of for $140 dollars which I will take my truck somewhere else to have it fixed completely which I’m assuming is worth more then that but maybe not

Took my car in for an oil change and always told I have some issue. First time was some gasket that was leaking yet there was no oil marks on my driveway. Turned a $60 oil change to a $495 job. Second oil change came with I needed a new PCV sensor and O2 sensor. Said I would get it done after my trip. Oh, now the check engine light was on. Wasnt on before I got this oil change. Came back from trip. Got ignition system cleaned, supposedly, changed the PVC sensor and believe it or not, didnt need the O2 sensor to be changed. Cost for this? $1430. Fixed it all, right? No. Check engine light comes on again. Come back and get it cleared. Drive home and next day, check engine light on again. I am told it could be a number of things. Might need a smoke test. Bottom line, I have a remote start that doesnt work because I have a check engine light on that wasnt on until an oil change at Mall Chevrolet. I will not come in to be nickeled and dimed for a bunch of test. Your mechanics cant fix it so I will find one who can. If not, I will trade it in and get a new truck. But trust me, it wont be at Mall Chevrolet. Three strikes...check engine...yer out.

I have purchased 3 vehicles in the past 6 years. I currently own a 2017 impala. Previously I owned a 2014 impala. I never had a rim issue with any vehicle I have ever owned. I have already purchased 3 rim for my 2017 impala and now they are telling me I have 3 more rims bent! I feel there must be an issue with your rims. The service Dept representative I felt treated me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I will not purchase another rim or Chevrolet vehicle again!

I went in for a routine maintenance, and specifically requested for a tire rotation and wheel alignment. I mean my requests were listed on the scheduled appointment.I received my SUV back with an oil change and a possible tire rotation. Yes, possible, because I have doubts that was even done. Their response to me inquiring about why the wheel alignment wasnt done - it costs $116. Maybe these guys were trying to save me some money? Im not sure. I mean I did list the alignment as part of the service I wanted. The least you guys couldve done was to double-check with me. Nope. Now I have to schedule another day off work to take my car back in.Aside from the aforementioned issue, Ill say the staffs seemed friendly. Just not enough to make me go back there though.

Today was my last visit and want to share all of my Service related issues and experiences over the last few years.Within 6 months of a brand new purchase, the gas pedal sensor malfunctioned, bringing the car to a stop on the side of the road and would no longer accelerate. I was charged $181.21 for throttle body service that was not covered, however, “required” in order to complete the service on GM’s faulty part.Six months later, the transmission shift control malfunctioned. Service was not able to duplicate the problem right away which was frustrating. When the car was in park, the dash was sending display notifications that the car was not in park. Therefore, I couldn’t turn off the vehicle, lock it up or walk away. The problem was finally resolved 2 weeks later, though a constant issue being on time for work etc.That same service visit, the door lock mechanism stopped working. The car would either completely lock you out or not lock at all and put you in a vulnerable situation. The inside console buttons nor key fob would operate. I did eventually learn how to remove the door handle & manually lock the vehicle, however unlocking was still not an option since the latch was broke. I was charged $149.22 just to have Service diagnose the problem and another $533.00 for parts & labor since the vehicle was just passed 12 months old and no longer covered under warranty.Four months later I received a recall notice regarding an ECM (malfunction) and was charged $224.95 to do the same “required” fuel injector / throttle body service when the car broke down the first time.Now in the car’s 2nd year, I pull up to get gas one day to find out they can’t fit the gas nozzle into the gas tank. Apparently the circular flap that acts as a gas cap broke off the hinge/spring mechanism and now lodged in the way. Service took it all apart to tell me, yeah, that piece popped off, however, it’s going to cost $700. to fix it. They put everything back together, leaving the piece lodged in the way, as I declined and not able to afford the repair. I’m still driving without a gas cap, however, able to use a thin funnel to bypass the lodged flap in order to put gas in the car.Within a month later, the door locks broke again. This time I can get in through the passenger side and reach over to unlock the driver side, every time I get in or leave the vehicle. I reported the problem to Service twice via email and never got a response. I called them on the phone specifically about the fact that it will be the 3rd latch kit within a 2.5 year period. The conversation quickly went nowhere. My only option is to pay the $682.22 like I did the last time. There was no talk of how the same GM part keeps breaking.Since I’m now very frustrated and making outrageous car payments on a broke down piece of junk, I reflect the frustrations & facts right back at Mall Chevrolet. Maybe you guys will learn to listen and work with a repeat customer of 10 years.I was on your sales floor today and my sales person walked by three times, didn’t even say hello. I walked the entire lot, not one person approached me. Even though I have a great job and great credit, I imagine I’m stuck in a bad deal and probably not worth your time.My next vehicle will not be from General Motors and Mall Chevrolet.

This was my first time buying a car and it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend Mall Chevy in Cherry Hill. I did not know much of what I was doing and they walked me through step by step.
