Terrible- I go there and there are more employees than customers, so youd think someone would be helpful, but no! I go up to at least five Home Depot employees asking for help. Not one of them cared or knew about what I asked for. I asked where microfiber cloths were. An employee waved in the general area of the entire basement floor and walked away. I asked where locks were and an employee waved at the wrong aisle. I asked where pipe cleaners were and an employee had no idea what I was asking about. Most employees were just walking around aimlessly or huddled together chatting, and seemed annoyed that I was there and asking them for help. Deeply unhelpful and disturbing. Why even hire these people? And not one of them seemed to know an iota about home improvement. I will avoid going to this store at all costs and will be continuing my online orders from Amazon instead.
A very bad and annoying expereince with Home Depot counter top set-up. My selection was for the Aura Deckton C, picture below. The third party company came to do the measurement and showed my wife the sample as I was not home. She said that was not it, so I called afterward to confirm on the right Selection, Aura Deckton. Then the third compnay did not update the contract I reviewed and submitted. Then they showed up Saturday for installation with the wrong countertop. We said this is not what we picked, they called their weekend suppervisor and told them that we have to wait until Monday for the right person to make the decision, and we can wait have this set and do and exchange later after by setting it up Monday. I went to home depot in Chelsea,MA Sunday and spoke to the person who did set up our contract and mentioned to her that the Aura we go not the Aura we have showed her on the picture and have chosen. I mentioned to her, that id there is 2 different Aura, her job is to make sure she pics the right one as she has put the wrong one in the contract. First, she didnt apologize, then she said we might have to do a new contract and we have to pay more as the other one is more money (pathetic customer service). Then she mentioned that on Monday, she is going to talk to her boss about this issue and get back to me. They didnt call, and I called back and left them a voice mail. Still, no body called. I reached to third party company and reported the issue, and they said they are awaiting from Home Depot decision on the matter. Im reaching directly to customer service about this matter.I did not listen to my contractor as he told me to not go through Home Depot but to go straight to a the Countertop company and directly set up the installation through them. Apparently home depot is the third party and the middle men, but with too mach issues and now Im surfing because of this.
Awful customer service. I verified product availability online before I arrived, and I drove out of my way because this location claimed to have what I needed. An employee laughed at me for expecting to be able to find it.
Well this home depot is always busy busy...so I think in all fairness the staff do a great job in this particular H..D..and the tool rental is great...I run 2 commercial properties...am there all the time....and the guys are always there to help...so keep up the good work ladds /lassies....

Cant find anything and I was needed a mini blind cut cant find anybody to help me to do that I was awake like a half an hour I asked you so many people they say I want to call somebody and I ask another one Im going to call somebody and nobody shows up
Excellent customer service from tall 3 associates I spoke with today.
I love Home Depot, but I cant stand the unwillingness of their associates to help you in any way. Every time I go in there its like Im inconveniencing them if I just want to ask them a quick question. There are certain things you cant get on your own and require the assistance of a home Depot associate, and yet when you call on them to help/assist you, they make you feel like they rather not help you. Ive learned to spend the extra time to try and figure things out myself and only reach out to an associate if Ive exhausted all my options.

The lines were too too long n they had some one at the register who couldnt speak English or knew what he was doing, had to wait for assistance by another worker who also didnt speak English

I bought a grill yesterday I asked if it could be be del I explained it have 4 herniated discs and non Haskins lymphoma. Your rep told me everyone gets sick get over it. My wife works for the usps and she told every employees what happens dont expect much sales. The rep had red hair and tattoos. I would go without before stepping in your store. .horrible cost service the funny part is my wife had a carriage with atleast 700 dollars worth of product witch in was going to have del with grill.

Be careful with drier installation. They did not properly installed my drier . If it was gas I would have been dead. I had to hire a contractor to come and fix the damage. Please be careful. I called the company many times and it was unable to talk to anyone about it

This home depot located in Chelsea, MA, is constantly running out of several items in stock. For people who live or work nearby, I would recommend the Everet or Saugus location. Or by first checking the availability of what you want online before you go

My review is for a associate name Robert who help me in the floor department. Robert help me get the right items for my floor installation and took his time to explain me throughly. He has a lot of knowledge and knew his thing. They should hire more people like Robert with experience. Is hard to find some one at Homedepot to help you choose the right tools more if your a woman with no knowledge in construction. Thank you Robert for your time and help.

About check out staff? come on you cant find better than them . great people there. never had single problem at check out. Sue is there 6 days per week Always professional. Before complaining check out staff, have you at least try putting all the items with bar-code facing up or towards the cashier? have you try to memorize how many items you are purchasing the same to tell them ( 20 hangers) (30 2x4s) that actually helps them be productive and make your life easier .

One of the challenges at Home Depot is that you do not have the help you expect as you navigate the aisles to find what you have in mind, this is a chronic condition at Home Depots in general. However, on 11/06/2020, I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Thomas Banguela (Flooring Specialist) who addressed my needs as nobody ever did before. I purchased several cabinets for my kitchen and Mr. Banguela was amazingly good as he took my order from start to finish. Two thumbs up to Mr. Banguela!!
Went in to get some shelving material for my office. Spoke to Manager Henry and Employee Kevin. These guys knew what they were doing and were extremely professional. We need more people like you guys in the world! Appreciate y’all!

Save your time and go to a different Home Depot (Everett or Somerville). Not sure whos running this circus, but none of the employees or managers know what theyre doing. I purchased a washer & dryer from them, and both are sitting uninstalled in my living room for a month. I also got 11 custom blinds installed through this location and it was a frustrating and confusing process. All the third party installers laugh when I tell them that Im working with the Home Depot-Chelsea location because they know everyones a clown. Youll call them and 3 different employees/managers will tell you 3 completely different stories or things to do. Even if you go into the store itself, no one knows where anything is and theyll have you running around the store. Its truly a joke and a miracle that this location is in business

Nice store good location. The employees are very helpful and always attentive. They come to you and ask if theres anything you need. Their parking area is huge enough so you wont have any problem find in a spot. Thats hard to find in this city.
I called to pick up a order at 10:45am. They told me the order would be all set and when I finally get here its not here and now we are waiting for at least an hour for them to get my order ready.Very disappointed and a waist of my time

They’ve taken away the cashiers and have gone strictly self checkout. I will NOT give them a dime of my money. Lowe’s has the same quality product and have not eliminated jobs.

I was surprised. We went to get a grill and grabbed the wrong one. After all the turmoil (my fault because I read the box wrong). Raffy and Donald got the right one down for us from the overhead. Hard workers and very polite and professional. The front end supervisor and the check out woman were also really great along with the kind lot attendant who helped load into the car. I will go back to Chelsea HD because of their great people. By the way, we were after the Nexgrill 5 burner and got it after my screw-up. It is good for Point Shirley where we live because it lasts 5 years before the salt spray and horrendous wind beat it up too much. The more expensive ones are no better. We are old geezers and have learned from experience.

Unfriendly staff
By far the most disorganized depot in the area. If you call them to check on availability of item they just hangup on you. I live in Revere but i choose to shop at Lowes(Saugus) or travel to Sommerville if i need something from Home Depot. Poor

******ATTENTION******* I am posting this because i will not let few people downgrade this stores reputation. yesterday May 16 2020 at 4 :05 pm i was at the line wating to be allowed inside, the employee in charge of controling how many people goes in was interested in many other personal matters she woulndt stay at her site and look at the couting device aand i was seeing at least 10 people leaving the store at the other end and she wasnt there paying attention and at 4:11 pm she allowed a couple to go inside and they talked to her like they know each other oside and they ddint wait at the line. i follwed them to see if it was emplotees but no at 4:12 pm they were at painting department shopping. we cant allow this i was working on sunday in a water emergency matter . i know thos home depot i know Sonia for years i know akillys from tool rentl and i know this home depot and saugus one are the BEST HOME DEPOT IN THE STATE. Now Put up my phone number or job name Lawyer at pro account and look how much i spent this year and NEVER FINANCED NOTHING ALLWAYS PAID CASH OR DEBIT CARD. SO PLEASE TREAT COSTUMERS WITH RESPECT.

They always have what I need, and seeing different items gets me thinking about changing the medicine cabinet,lights, mirror ect.at a very reasonable price.
Bought a brand new kitchen faucet and turns out it is missing the special installation tool. Looks like maybe the item was returned and the box resealed and sold as new, which would be unacceptable with missing parts. A lot of time wasted going to pickup what ended up being a useless item. Generally, I love the Home Depot, but this is not ok.

I go to Home Depot a lot for picking up supplies I need to renovate my home but half of the employees dont know where anything is when I need help. The store itself is disorganized. Could be better.
I love this place, they have an amazing team.
The folks here are very helpful. I had to get a few pieces of wood for a small project, and I asked an employee if customers could use one of the circular saws onsite. Maybe he didnt want me to eff up? But either way, he was nice to make the cuts for me. Customer service also made a return very easy.Parking isnt fun, but just take your time and keep your eyes peeled for cars backing out and customers crossing the road.
