Best place to get running shoes 👍 we have a very hard to fit daughter and shes a runner. She may win the award for the hardest person to find a shoe for! The sales girl was so patient and creative and didnt give up! Ended up finding a good shoe after at least 20 tried on! Weve been coming here to get her shoes for years and havent ever had a bad experience. Be prepared to spend some money on the shoes but thats every where you go for a good running shoe. And they are local which I love supporting ❤

The person who helped me was very knowledgeable (Alan? Apologies for spelling). He was able to help me find two pairs of shoes that fit me very well. He explained the difference between various shapes and types of shoes and also what and why he chose for me to try.I learned that going to shoe stores and trying on random shoes is the wrong way to do it. Finding the right fit makes a major difference, and theyll help you do exactly that.

Never been fitted for a shoe before... they watched my balance, the way I walk, measured my feet, asked what the shoe was for, and brought out only the kind that suited my need. They double checked everything once the shoes were on, and made sure I was completely satisfied.

This place is so wonderful. The owner was very friendly during my visit, and stacey went above and beyond while finding the perfect shoe for me! She even watched my son as I walked around the store testing my shoes. The other associate there was also funny and friendly. I love my new shoes even after wearing them for 2 weeks!

This is a long overdue review of my favorite shoe store ever! We were visiting Chattanooga over Memorial Day weekend and after day 1 I had the dreaded blisters starting again! (3rd time in the same shoes, I know, DUMB!) I wanted - no, I needed - great shoes for the rest of the trip. I found Fast Break and I am so very glad I did.Alan (: who seems to be some sort of big deal there ;-) took excellent care of me. He didnt just sell me a pair of shoes, he educated me on what type of shoes would be best for my freakishly wide, thick feet! He also endured my incessant rambling style of humor & told us a little of the history of running in the area.Do yourself a favor, stop in & take a look around. It would be great if you bought something too, but even if you dont, they treat you well and help you with whatever you need. Ask for Alan. If hes there, he may regale you with tales of local running lore or maybe even tell you about the short, funny, round guy from Ohio with size 12 4E feet that left with a pair of New Balance 840s and a smile.

I have only been in a few times to buy Swiftwick socks, which are buy 3 get 1 free. Each experience I have had here has been perfection. The staff is so incredibly kind and helpful. They have never pressured me to buy anything. That has always been my biggest pet peeve. Fast beak offers the widest selection of running socks and specialty shoes in Chattanooga. I also like that they have unique North Face items that the other area stores do not carry. If you are looking for some great socks, shoes, or running apparel go here!

Simple the best running specialty store in or around Chattanooga. The staff at Fast Break not only knows running and can fit you in the perfect shoe but they live it also. I have a lot of people ask me what type of running shoe they should get. I send them all to Fast Break because I’m confident they’ll get the right shoe.They also have tons of running apparel, nutrition for those long runs and much more. They’ve helped me prepare for many races throughout the years.

Absolutely fantastic buying experience. Kiersten was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and was great at explaining the rational behind the shoes she was recommending and why they might be good options to help solve my trail running problems. Fast Break approaches their shoes from a logical process, matching the science of specific shoe technology with the physiology and kinesiology of each persons foot, their stride, and their style of running. Its really quite remarkable when you stop to think about how much each one of the staff members knows and how much knowledge is taking up space in their brains. You wont pay any more than the MSRP on any shoes there and its well worth the individual attention and customization of the fit. And its never a bad thing to support a local business.

I cannot recommend this store more highly. The staff was wonderfully helpful and knew their products. Carrie assisted me the first day and had me torn between a couple of shoes, so I waited a few days to ponder over my purchase. When I returned today, she was busy, so Dick helped me out. I was amazed by his knowledge and he knew just what questions to ask. He ended up finding me the perfect shoe, one that Carrie had recommended. I was surprised by the expertise of the staff. Their input wasnt these are great for running and look cool, but more well, youre putting more weight on this side of your foot, so you need a shoe that does this and flexes like this to compensate. They were also pretty affordable-- I honestly wasnt expecting that, especially after the level of service that I received.

Staff is extremely friendly and great help with problem feet or legs. I was having so much trouble with running and hip pain. I had a recommendation to go here. I was not disappointed. They had me do a number of things as far as watching how I walked did measurements on my feet and checked the arch of my foot. They then select the best shoes for you to try on and have a small area for you to go run in the shoes to see which feels best for you. You can find the same look of shoes in stores but these are more of a custom build for for problem areas. I will probably always buy shoes here from now on. The shoes are probably all $100+ nut I would rather spend an extra 10$ or so for something that helps out with pain any day.

Great service! Ive not experienced this level of one-to-one personal service in years. I was a NB customer for 5 years, this is the next level. They evaluated my feet...severe flat foot with almost no arch; had me walk around before measuring, then brought about four companies and two sizes; tried on nearly all and they tied and swapped the Power Step Orthotics they recommended too in each. Ended up with my first pair of Brooks. They made recommendations for socks to help with my plantar. Left happy with new shoes, five hours of walking later....omg, barely any foot or leg pain.All I can say is THANK YOU! Ill be back with my boys before school starts.
