Initial experience was good with friendly people to get us set-up in a unit. We noticed quickly that units seemed warmed and while thermostat says its set on 68 every time we went to the unit it was at least 84. Regrettably on check out we saw that the roof had a tar leak that damaged an antique table. When I sent photos and asked what Signal Mountains Storage policy was for making repairs or restitution, I received a call advising me that my homeowner’s would have to cover. (I had opted to use my homeowner’s instead of purchasing their coverage). Of course, had this been fire or tornado damage, something out of Signal Mountains control, I would except my homeowner’s to cover. But given this damage was caused by their actions, it would seem reasonable they would endeavor to do the right thing and take responsibility. Very disappointing and cause for me to withhold my recommendation of this facility.10.11.21 My account number with you was Account #2048 - 320. feel free to call me at number on file.
The staff have always been excellent and helpful and the storage units are clean and affordable. It would be nice to be able to get a motorcycle in and out, but the automatic door opener doesnt like them. Other than than, couldnt ask for much more.
Dalton called me to go over everything and she was the biggest help! Explained everything politely, thoroughly, and patiently. Highly recommend for great service and excellent pricing!!
I dont know how any other establishment can compete with this storage facility. Just the staff alone sealed my decision to come here because they are super friendly and very customer service oriented. Highly, highly recommend!!!

I NEVER leave bad reviews because you always want to give a business the benefit of the doubt but in this case I’ve also never conducted business with a company that deserved one so badly...Signal Mountain Storage is the most frustrating business that I can ever remember dealing with. Almost nothing can be done without a “manager” being involved and some poor customer service rep is always left to inform you of that fact and that a “manager will call you back”. But this never happens. I bet we’ve been told 6 times that we will get a call back. Now I just laugh when the customer service rep tells us that because we haven’t had one yet.Absolutely terrible.

Did not have a good move in experience. The lady working the desk was as nice as she could be as a person but she did not go over the protocol well at all, wasted about 30-40 minutes of my unpaid lunch break, took a mystery emergency call from her boss and just left me in the lobby for 15 minutes alone. Then I finally have to go back to work because at this point i have been in the office for an hour and gone from work over an hour for what was supposed to be a prearranged reservation since i filled out all the online forms.. So- when my move out day comes the following sunday(this was Friday when i paid for my unit) we search the grounds to find my unit-which is not a huge deal since i had to leave before the lady found time to find the unit because she made it clear she had no idea where it was. Appreciated the honesty though.. i digress.. WE FIND THE UNIT and it has a lock on it. I call the answering service who is beyond useless and claim they will call management.... I have to cut the lock, then move all of our stuff in and never did hear back from management. I actually called the next day to tell the GM about the situation- she had no idea the answering service did not call her she says. I was not charged for the cut lock and given a credit which i felt was due and highly appreciated.. But i feel it is fair to warn others of the circus of a move in i had. The facility is nice and well kept but just know to keep your wits about you and make the attendee FULLY explain any subtleties of the contract. Even if it waste time you could be getting paid.

My 4 digit gate code wouldn’t work. I called office and got answering service who couldn’t help me. I drove back home and unloaded. Answering service then called me, 40 minutes later, to say they had an emergency code. This did inspire me to find a better storage facility- indoor, climate controlled with drive up to the storage room for the same price.

Great new clean secure facility! The new office looks amazing. They used the old bricks from the school and put the plague from the school in the brick wall of the office. Great new staff!
Outstanding customer service, nice, clean and safe property.
Unit leaked and got mattresses wet. Management didn’t seem to care. Called three weeks in advance of my next move to let them know I was cancelling my unit and had moved out. They still sent me a late notice.
!!MOLD!! MOLD !!I lost pretty much every I was storing in my unit to mold and some water damage. I’m out thousands for what I loss and for what I am now having to replace, including family heirlooms and pictures that were priceless. Their insurance is worthless. Steer clear of this place!! I saw standing water in other occupied units as well when I was cleaning out mine.

The manager here was absolutley amazing she seemed to understand that situations arise and these arent just junk catch calls most people have their entire lives in these units and irreplaceable things.A little help goes a long way
