The One Star is representative for the Cub Cadet Mower I purchased from Sequoyah Lawn Equipment and not the business nor their employees. I had a top of the line 42 cut Craftsman for about 9 years with no problem since it came with a 20 hp B&S Pro Series Engine and a electric lift for my deck. Actually the only complaint and issues I had with it was the pressed deck not being sturdy enough, a bolt pulled through the deck for one of the idler pulleys when my belt got in a bind so I convinced myself that I needed a riding mower with a fabricated deck which eliminated most of the name brand mowers at the big box stores. I began looking and found out that a commercial grade riding mower with a fabricated deck was hard to find locally but after calling around decided to check out the Cub Cadets at Sequoyah. The Cubs looked great although they used a lot of plastic in the body surrounding the engine but they had a Kawasaki engine which I appreciated so I went up a deck size to a 46 not because I needed the size for my yard but because with the Cub and a 42 deck it came with an 18.0 hp Kawasaki and the 46 came with the 21.5 hp. Once I got it home I found out that on a slight slope with my yard that the deck would shift enough to scalp the grass on the lower side of the deck which I had never experienced with my Craftsman since it gave me a smooth cut no matter which part of the yard I was mowing. I called Sequoyah and the lady told me that was natural due to gravity and the weight of the fabricated deck would shift on a slope causing the closer very visible cut difference, supposedly she checked with their service guy and he confirmed it also. Ive got to wonder how the commercial guys put up with the scalping from the fabricated decks or maybe their zero turn decks are attached differently, Im not sure but I do know if I had known about the scalping issues with the fabricated decks I would have never bought this Cub Cadet riding mower. If youre looking for a quality mower that gives a smooth cut on all types of terrain you better pass on the Cub Cadets riding mowers or you will be extremely disappointed like I was!

Repeat loyal customer here and on multiple occasions recently been let down by the service of this company. The only thing this place does halfway decent is sell you new equipment. Goodluck getting parts or service 1 month in the shop for a stiff throttle cable on a weedeater I bought from them ( had to buy a new one to use that day ) and again when I had a plasitc piece break on a carburetor for another weedeater I bought from them ( again had to buy a new replacement that day ) ive purchased 6 weedeaters from this store all the same and EVERY TIME I need parts THEY NEVER HAVE THEM. And it takes WEEKS TO GET THEM. Seems like a shady way of not upholding your warranty by making people find different people for parts and labor because your turnaround time on repairs and parts service is non existent. Do better.

I leave my equipment for repairs and repeatedly never get a update on my equipment it’s just pathetic. The customer service is terrible they thought me “ If you don’t like our service go some where else” and I do think they abuse the false comfort of telling us when it’s due I’ve waited for thing that are “Supposed” to take a week and it ends up to be months it’s just awful i really do think they need more employees or better ones!
Sequoyah Lawn Equipment is amazing to do business with. I highly recommend them if youre the market for their sales or services.I was in the market for a ZTR mower. Ive never really had a need for one before now. Justin assisted me through the entire process and helped me pick out the ZTR mower that best suited my needs.I cant say enough great things about these guys. You will just have to go and see them for yourself+
Just had a mower delivered from this dealer. Cant say anything but good things about them. Im bad with names, but the salesman took the time to answer all of my questions and the delivery driver gave me a really good rundown when he brought it here. Ill do business with them again and I highly recommend them!
Great service, had exactly what I was looking for. Went to another place that was arrogant about having the correct parts but didnt pay any attention.I have no problem driving the extra distance for quality service.
I took my mower in and told them what the problem was and also took a weed eater in at same time. 4 weeks later theycalled an ask me if I wanted them to fix it. I said why do you think I took it over there for? After 5 or 6 weeks they said it was ready. Pick it up came home with it started cutting the grass, the deck was not level, it stop on me and would not start until it cool down. Weed eater i was using the head fell off of it. Charge me 325 dollars, so took it back over there and told them i needed it fixed and I needed it that day. They said, well we will have to see how many people are ahead of you. Once I got it back I never went back to them. Found some other dealer, they fix it in two days for 50.00 dollars. Never ever get me to go back. This has been a few years back.
Not understanding the complaints about getting waited on. I went last year and spent at least an hour looking everything over and all my questions answered. Then asked to test drive one, No problem. I live close by so they even delivered it to me. They also had a recall on the gas tank, Came out to my house and did the change. So far, my experience has been great!

Great service and great product selection. After researching echo chainsaws I went in hoping that they would have the one I wanted in stock and was surprised to see they had most every saw from the echo line dislayed on the wall. I asked a few questions and the staff had quick answers - it was clear that they knew their products well.They are a servicing dealer, which is important to me. They assemble and test equipment before it goes out and service and repair it after it has been used. The pricing is in line with what you will find elsewhere, but if there is a problem they fix it in house, which you dont get from a big box store. Highly recommend this store.
They are very competent they care so that you find what you are looking for. I found the two parts looking for me lawn mower Cut Cadet law and it was a relaxation for me.good service
Friendly but to the point, small selection of equipment, but able to order what they dont carry on hand. Its off the beaten path, so pay attention to your GPS.
Never received help or even greeted. Would not recommend when buying expensive equipment that will have to be serviced here.Edit. 2/20/2018. Called Sequoya to give them another chance. I asked about getting a Ferris walk behind serviced and they wont do a simple hydro oil change. They didnt give any recommendations and they didnt seem to care so Ill continue to take my business elsewhere.
Echo and this dealer are worthless. As others have stated, if you didnt purchase from them, you are a third class citizen. New echo saw had an over tightened oilier screw and broke as soon as I tried to loosen it. I contacted echo and they told me to take it to my local dealer. They never even contacted echo to have it warrantied after I told them it was warranty work. $90 later I will never be back or buy Echo trash.

If you didnt purchase your mower from Sequoyah Lawn Equipment, you might want to look elsewhere for any repair work that you might need. Sequoyah has a policy that they promise their customers a 2-day turn around on repair work, but if you didnt purchase your mower from them, then you are penalized and your mower is put at the bottom of their repair schedule. I took my SCAG Turf Tiger in for a Hydraulic Pump repair and 4 weeks later - they still havent even looked at it. It has been left out in the weather for 4 weeks now and has started to rust in several places. They make no apologies about putting other mowers ahead of mine on their repair schedule, even though they were brought in weeks after mine was. I finally had to go and pick up my mower and take it to another dealer - who said that they would have it repaired in a week or less. I am a paying Customer and I dont feel that I should be treated in such a discriminatory manner - just because I didnt purchase my SCAG mower from them. I did purchase a Troy-Bilt Tiller from them years ago, but since I didnt purchase my SCAG Turf Tiger from them - I am NOT considered a loyal Customer. As a matter of principle - I will NEVER do business with Sequoyah Lawn Equipment again !

The most pitiful customer service! We will NOT order anything else from this store! We have waited almost two weeks and have been told over and over the parts should be there and still havent received them! If you need parts go to tractor supply or another lawn equipment store do not expect to get them on time from here!
Ordered parts for my tiller two belts an a flywheel fan got the belts in two days. Flywheel fan has been right at two weeks. Ordered one off the Briggs and Stratton web an got it two days later not real happy with the service 😒
