J Crew used to be a favorite of mine, good quality, basics that are always in style and products held up well. I’ve always had ok customer service whether I was shopping or coming in to exchange or return something.I have gained some weight, and am no longer a size 10/12/14. Luckily J. Crew has expanded their sizing in a lot of styles, so I’ve continued to purchase a few things online. But Why bother expanding your sizing if you won’t carry it in stores?I came in today to return an item and even though the sales associate was very chatty and friendly with the person in front of me, I received a completely different experience. No acknowledgement, no can I help you find another style, is there anything wrong with it. Just took the item, and asked if I wanted a printed or emailed receipt for my return.Shopping used to be an enjoyable experience but it’s clear that just like madewell they may make larger sizes but they sure as heck don’t want larger bodies in their stores.
Conservative clothing, where sometimes you find good stuff
Horrible snobby service; the female associates chose to ignore me, talk amongst themselves and not acknowledge my existence. I was searching for work wear for about 10 minutes and upon leaving a male associate tried to salvage the experience by thanking me for coming in. He was working the mens area. I even regret buying their pieces from Nordstrom previously.
J Crew had certainly struggled financially, but you will always find cool classics here for guys. I love how consistent they have been.
Bright, clean and neat store with a good selection of good quality clothes. Store is never full even when they have promotions or sales. Staff is friendly and looks busy sometimes. May not always right in front of you when you need help... just short on staff I would say, but it doesnt bother me at all;)
Super nice. Tiny store though
When i went in there with my daughter, there were no greetings from any of the associates. not even a hi. just a lot of stares and attitude. but right after, a white female comes in and was greeted with a hi and how can i help you today. Unacceptable! can you say RACIST! with that type of attitude and poor customer service, i left without buying anything, no sales from me ever from that store! But then again, i was in Walnut Creek, where most of the people are racist!
Its a store. You browse their wares, and decide to purchase or not. There is nothing more to say.
Very good
The epitome of mens style
