We bought 3 bikes and a carrier and have been very pleased with the bikes and the service! Fist off, when you buy a bike or carrier, they put together the item at no additional charge. The same goes for any other accessories you purchase from them. They even matched the price of the carrier to Amazon prime. They spent the time to answer all our questions and even let us go on a free test drive. We never once felt pressured and the entire experience was fantastic. I would not hesitate to buy from them again, as a matter of fact, I wont buy from any other place. Thanks guys!

Awesome folks. Happened to have a wobbly wheel on a ride here while visiting Chattanooga for work. They threw my bike up on the rack and helped me out despite it being closing time. Excellent job--fixed my bike in no time and got to check out some cool electric bikes while I was there. Come check these folks out...even if they are on some motorized wheels ;-)

Yesterday was my 1st visit to the Electric Bike Specialists and meeting their staff. One thing that was clear from my visit, is that if and when I decide to purchase and electric bike it will be from there guys. Just walked in off the street and they connected with some amazing bikes and routes for a wonderful test drive which become the high light of our trip to Chatt. Prices were reasonable, staff excellent and on the whole topic of E bikes, if I lived in Chatt I would definitively buy a bike from these guys as it is an ideal store in a perfect city for an e-bike. Chandlee spent 3 hours helping me pick out the right bike for me. I dont spend 3 hours picking out an automobile but I know a lot more about cars and I usually already know what I want when I go to the showroom. Chandlee promised to send me a website link which he did the same day. How often does that happen? A promise made during a sale kept after the sale. My impression is that its a family owned and operated business though I dont know that for sure but mom brought lunch when I was there and it smelled great. If you go take some milk bones for their mascot. He will do tricks for you and loves to go for bike rides in his own trailer. Great shopping experience and I love my bike.

My husband and I met the owner on our honeymoon. He rescued our backpack that we left outside. Unfortunately we were not able to make it out to the shop, but his kindness will bring us out there next time we visit!

My wife and I were given a four-hour rental as a gift, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were courteous, the bikes functioned well, and it was a great way to see the city.

Foremost; Chandlee is knowledgeable and friendly. Garnet is a bike wizard. The bike I bought - Superb.But the experience of my most recent repair has left a bad taste in my mouth. Summed up in two words - laborious, unsatisfactory.They had my bike for 11 days BEFORE they would even confirm that the part I needed was ordered. Despite having the part ON HAND (in the form of the same bike I purchased weeks earlier), and my continuous prodding, they ACTIVELY REFUSE to repair my bike. First telling me they are too swamped with work to do the labor; then when I contacted another bike shop across the street who said he could do the work THAT DAY, they refused to provide him with the parts - forcing me to continue waiting for parts they cant even confirm have shipped - and its day fifteen now.To top it off, I was told on day 12 to come in and get a loaner bike for my troubles - Since I commute by bike. When I arrived hours later, the bike was completely discharged, and they had no charger to provide me....and no second options offered. So....a 50 pound powerless e-bike, and no charger. No thanks. As compensation? I was told my bike would be hand delivered the next morning to the bike shop that offered to do the work the previous week with the parts from the shop, to expedite the repair. Not only was this NEVER done - no explanation has been given as to why it did not take place.Today is day 15. Half a month to replace a wheel they have on hand - and they still will not tell me when my parts for the bike will arrive.Am I at fault for expecting greater concern, and better service than this?My general experience with EBS has been positive. They know their stuff, and they have great products. But unless this situation is resolved differently than it has been handled; Ill probably take my repairs elsewhere when possible moving forward.

The Electric Bike Company is the best ever!The staff (especially Chandley and Garnet) sure know what they are talking about, and they always seem to go above and beyond. No need for a car....I love my Motiv, and drive it all over town!

Five star experience at Electric Bike Specialists today. Garnet and Lewis have a depth of knowledge of and experience with electric bikes that is just beyond belief.I came in because I had my Yuba elBoda Boda serviced at a non-electric bike shop. Some of the work was left undone or done improperly, rendering the bike unsafe and unrideable. I decided that it would be best to take it to a shop that specializes in electric bikes.Im so glad I brought my bike to Garnet and Lewis. They were able to figure out immediately what was wrong and get me going in record time, and at an extremely fair price. Every interaction I had with them was positive.Another great thing about them--even though the other shop did some pretty boneheaded and even dangerous things with my bike, they didnt dwell or say anything derogatory. They stayed positive, said yeah, this is a problem and then fixed it. That really says, to me, a lot about who they are as kind, hardworking people.I had to drive two hours from Nashville to get to Electric Bike Specialists. If youre local or in driving distance, you should definitely go buy an eBike and have it serviced here. No question. Happy riding!
