I purchased a living room set from Rooms to Go. I waited a few months to write my review, until I was certain if I was going to be happy with my purchase. I am happy to say that I am. I adore the sectional set I got. It is modern, comfortable, beautiful to look at, and I love it.I woulk like to thank Karen Ayala for helping me find the perfect set for me and encouraging me to get the color I really wanted instead of what was normal for others. I cannot say enough how happy I am with my purchase. I would definitely go back. I love having people over now ☺️.

Great experience at this store! I usually don’t like to spend a lot of time in furniture stores because the employees can become a bit pushy, but this time around our salesman, Derrick, was super knowledgeable, helpful and more than anything patient. We spent more than a few minutes looking at some of the dining rooms options and ultimately, Derrick helped us narrow down our pick. We’re very satisfied with our selection as well as the customer service. I think we’ll definitely be back in the future when we’re on the hunt for new items.

Overall, I had a great experience at this location! Derrick was very helpful and thorough as I decided on items for my new home. Normally I feel rushed and pressured to purchase furniture in these types of stores, however he was very informative and patient. Never ever again! Beware! They talk you into buying the extra protection through an extended warranty, but then you can’t even use it because they deny you. They deny you for instances that Rooms to Go tells you will be covered. Also, Rooms to Go says your furniture is covered under a one year warranty. NOT!!! We didn’t even have our furniture for a couple of months before the fabric started to mess up. I call and get told that it’s not covered because it’s normal wear and tear…. AFTER ONLY A COUPLE MONTHS!!!!! I have tried to get answers and get my couch repaired for MONTHS!!!! I keep getting the run around though. My couch looks like I’ve had it for years, but it’s not even been a whole year yet, and I’m still making payments! There’s clearly a defect or something in the fabric, but they don’t wanna hear that. Even the technician agreed with us… the technician that we had to wait on for 3 months!! I’ve already stopped and deterred several people from purchasing through Rooms to Go, and I will continue my mission to make everyone aware!

I had a great experience today at Rooms To Go! Chris Luiker helped me with my purchase and he was fantastic! He was very patient and gave me plenty of time to make my selection. He wasnt pushy and gave me my space to look around, but checked in periodically to answer and questions. Definitely see him if you go shopping there! 🙂

It was the best experience Ive ever had shopping for furniture. Ashley our salesperson really knows her stuff and she really seemed like she enjoyed helping me find what I wanted as much as I did. Rude. I tagged along with two family members while they were looking to purchase furniture. The employees were sitting near the entrance having casual conversations about politics and stocks. No one greeted us or asked if we needed help. The manager finally come over to greet us and then left us hanging. We didnt know he was a manager and assumed just a regular employee. My family needed help and was looking to purchase multiple pieces that day. We finally went back to the guy who spoke to us to get some assistance. He told us that he was only the manager. Pretty much it was concluded that the employees sitting down would be the people to help. One guy finally got up when the manager told us that he wouldnt be the one to assist us. From there we left. They pretty much missed out on a $7k cash sell and Ashley Furniture was happy to get it that same evening.

Overall, we had a great experience with the sales rep at this location. However, this company is poorly operated. We received a phone call less than 48 hours before our delivery to be told part of our order was not going to arrive for nearly 6 months. We also were told by the representative that called we may be able to borrow the part that was missing from the showroom floor until ours arrived. This shows poor communication and training as the supervisor at the store claims this was not possible. When I asked the supervisor what she could do, she claimed nothing. The biggest issue here is, when spending nearly 6 thousand dollars and waiting several months already for your order, this should not occur, or if it does, those with proficient customer service skills would work with the customer to try to appease them.

Derrick Gladden was extremely helpful in our search for new bedroom furniture. When what we were looking for was not available on the floor, he pulled up inventory online. Many items were delayed in delivery, but he was very resourceful to find items which we loved which were available for set up and delivery within a few weeks. He was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend asking for him if you go to the store on Gunbarrel in Chattanooga.

I just purchased 2 sofas and a chair from Rooms to Go. After reading the reviews, I was a little worried about their delivery and customer service department, but after getting assurances from the manager and sales associate I decided to bite the bullet. So far, I’m glad I did. The sales associate and manager were terrific. My delivery arrived on time yesterday and the delivery guys couldn’t be more helpful and polite. We opted to unbox and set up the furniture ourselves. Once we did, we noticed 2 minor mechanical issues with the sofas. I called the customer service line today and was able to schedule service on them without any issue. We love our purchase and thus far, I am very happy that I decided to buy from rooms to go!

Derrick was the sales associate that helped me. I wasn’t sure if the furniture that I liked would fit in my room so he took out a tape measure and helped me figure out the dimensions and wrote everything down for me. I came back to the store after confirming that the furniture would fit in my room and he helped me order everything. He was very kind and personable but not overbearing like some sales people can be. Overall it was a pleasant buying experience!

I have had a very hard experience thus far with Rooms To Go. Their delivery and logistics department has been absolutely terrible. After reading others reviews with very similar situations to mine, I can’t understand why this has not been addressed.The experience started very pleasant with my interaction with everyone at the actually facility. After purchasing a new home it was time to furnish it. I spent a full day going from place to place speaking with employees and looking at furniture. My goal was to get as much of the big items I could from one place as not to have to deal with multiple companies. I decided Rooms To Go was the best fit for me. They had decent quality furniture, styles that fit my taste, prices that fit my budget, and salespeople whom I liked. While walking around and placing my order they were very upfront about the long delivery times due to material shortages delaying production. I work in an industry where we are experiencing the same issues so this was not a big problem to begin with.Fast forward over a month from my purchase and my first delivery was scheduled to be delivered. The delivery company did not show up in the scheduled delivery time frame. I work seven day a week most times and had taken this day off for this, and to get several other things done. Once they called to say they were almost at my home I had ran out to try to get some errands done. I told them they were well outside of their time frame so I had left, but would be there within 15 min. They said they would not wait. I felt like this was both mine and their fault so I said ok and instructed them just to leave it on my front porch and I would take it from there.Another month and a half later my second delivery was scheduled to be delivered. Time frame was from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. At 12:58 I got a call from the dispatcher stating the delivery truck had been broken into earlier that morning and items were stolen so my delivery would not happen. This was extremely frustrating for several reasons. 1) If this had happened earlier in the day why did I not receive this call sooner, at least I could have moved on with my day. 2) When rescheduling I asked for the following weekend. The soonest they said they could do it was two weeks later. They did state they had the same thing I ordered in their warehouse so if my pieces had been stolen they had them in stock to replace. So why could you not schedule a truck the following weekend for my delivery. In my opinion I purchased a large amount of items from your company and you sun-contracted out the delivery. We had an agreed upon date for this delivery and you did not hold up to your end of the bargain. I did not hire this delivery service, I hired Rooms To Go. Regardless I bit my tongue and scheduled for two weeks later.Today is that date. Same time frame as before 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. I received a phone call at 9:42 stating the truck was not operational and they were trying to figure something out. At least they gave me a heads up this time. All I ask if you make sure my delivery happens today. It is not very difficult to get another delivery vehicle. I am a Production Manager for a tier 1 automotive supplier, we literally have to schedule trucks every single day.At this point I have no confidence that my delivery will come today, nor do I believe the next delivery I have for my last piece of furniture a month from now will happen without issue.As someone who spent between $8-10,000 with Rooms To Go, I will more than likely go elsewhere now. I haven’t even come close to purchasing all I need, so that time will be sooner rather than later.Rooms To Go…. Please address your logistics department and work to correct these issues.

I moved to Chattanooga and got my very first apartment! I always thought rooms to go would be out of my price range but I was shocked when I decided to look anyway! I fell in love with their grey sectional. It gave me the cozy vibe that I’ve always wanted. I ended up buying majority of their set up on the floor. The couch, rug, ottoman, and round love chair. What’s even better is I was able to set up a payment plan for the furniture! I highly recommend to check out rooms to go! I know I will definitely be going back!

Ashley was great, greeted us at the door. Knew exactly where the sectionals I was looking for were. Gave us space. Answered questions. Let us know our buying options, talked pros and cons. Went out of her way to find out through her manager if it would be possible we could pick it up ourselves at a distribution warehouse. We made our purchase and were on our way. She even followed up with a phone call 2 days later to tell us when our sectional would be delivered. Great shopping experience, good selection, and friendly sales people. Rooms to go is an easy shopping experience. Ashley was my sales person and when I went in I was just looking and she wasn’t all over me and just let me look without pressure. She was there to check on me an to answer any questions I had. I found what I wanted but wanted to think about the purchase and told her I would be back and she said that if I wanted she could just email me what I need to make the purchase. We have purchased living room set, Bedroom set, and 2 mattresses along with another dresser. The power recliner in the sofa that is 4 years old went out. I tried calling for 2 days no answer. Finally someone responded to my message. They could not help me since it is no longer in warranty. I told them I would pay for it just needed someone to service it. Nope no help! Over the years, weve bought 3 living room sets, 2 bedrooms sets, and a bunk bed from this Rooms To Go store! I cant imagine going anywhere else. The ease of finding exactly what we need and being able to easily finance it (with no interest!) always makes it a stress-free experience. Salesperson greeted us promptly and led us to furniture category we were interested in. He then gave us our privacy to search through furniture on our own. We did find what we’re interested in and at that time summoned our salesperson to discuss pricing and availability. To be honest, I’m not sure even where to start when my frustration. After waiting months for my bedroom suite, it was finally delivered; only when we began to put the suite together, it was missing vital parts to assemble the bed. I have been sleeping on the floor for over a week now. Customer service is a joke. I was on the phone for over 20 minutes the first time I called, when someone answered and hung up. I was on the phone over an hour over the weekend as when the missing parts were finally sent, they shipped the wrong parts. I received two right legs instead of a right and left leg and the stretcher was not even included. After expressing my frustrations for paying $4,000, I was told they could offer me a $25 dollar credit, which I in return told them was laughable and not acceptable. They reported to me they would expedite my order for Monday, give me a $50 dollar credit (which is the highest they can allegedly give—-again laughable), and would assemble the suite for me. It is Monday, still no parts, and even once I receive the parts will have to call rooms to go to schedule them to assemble the bed.The store itself was great, when I originally purchased my bedroom suite but everything else has been a terrible experience; and I am not happy with the customer care I have received. I would recommend saving yourself the headache and going somewhere else.

UPDATE: our originally delayed delivery has been delayed twice now.They wont contact you directly, they send an email and you have to wait forever (45-60 minutes) on hold with customer care to reschedule. We went in to see if there was another bedroom set that we could choose instead but none are in stock and they are on a delayed delivery as well. We dont know when this one would eventually come in since it is now scheduled to POSSIBLY be 7 months from the original order. Why would we start over in line for the next set. Very upset that they are still running commercials to have your furniture delivered quickly when they dont have the inventory for the customers that already paid nor possible replacements.The couch that we did receive is not wearing well. The cushions are already wearing down and it has only been a few months. The chair had to be redelivered since it didnt come with the feet and the fabric on the bottom was half torn away.Customer Care cannot cancel the order so after waiting on hold for almost an hour again I still had to call the store to cancel the order. The email stated to call customer care and gave their number for any questions though. I would go anywhere else since there are plenty of options nearby. This was a lot of money to tie up for months without anything to show for the effort.All of the items can be purchased as a group with a small discount or individually. Currently with Covid-19 issues some items are delayed, 3 items are being delivered in 4 days they entire bedroom suite in 8 weeks. It is hit or miss on inventory. The salesperson was helpful but left us alone to shop, which we appreciated. Many of the bedrooms have multiple options in variations of headboards, frames and dressers in that style.

From the time we walked in the door and received Karen’s friendly greeting and offer of assistance she was great. We were shopping for a new mattress and with Karen’s great personality and knowledge of rooms to go inventory she helped us navigate today’s mattress options until we purchased a Nector premier king size. She was very attentive to our needs and was able to price match the sale Nector was offering directly from them. We try to purchase from local stores to support local jobs and Karen made it easy to choose doing business with Rooms To Go. Not recommended unless you can get your furniture when you buy. Purchased a couch and tables in November but didn’t receive until months later. Tables were delivered in January, but one was broken. They wouldn’t deliver another until March. Sectional was delivered in March but they didn’t bring the corner piece, and they brought an extra section that wouldn’t even fit on couch. Delivery person would not take back the wrong part. We had to contact RTG and was told that it would be August before they would bring corner section of sectional and pick up wrong part. We offered to go wherever we needed to pick up correct pieces and was told that was not an option. Stuck with partial sectional in living room for 6 months. Worst customer service and experience- will never buy from here again

After recently relocating from Texas, we found ourselves needing to update a few rooms and decided to try out Rooms To Go (for the first time).We were greeted by every associate throughout the store and offered assistance...but thankfully were not followed, pressured or pestered as has been the case in some stores we’ve gone to.We are very happy with our salesperson Chris, who answered every question I asked (and there were many), he was outstanding in his knowledge of the mattress we decided to purchase and made it easy to open up an account and find the furniture we wanted as well. Tech support at the Gunbarrel Rd Chattanooga location of Rooms To Go is terrible!!! The furniture ordered could not be assembled due to a faulty part. When tech support was called we were told appointment for a technician to come out couldn’t be made for 3-4 weeks out. On the day the technician was to come out, I received a text saying they were 5 minutes away and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! I texted the number with no response. Safe to say Rooms To Go lost another customer today. Very unprofessional. One star is a gift😡

Just know they’re really behind. Ordered furniture 3/1. Supposed to be delivered 4/12. Still not here! No one picking up their customer service line or chat, either. 2 stars because we liked the furniture in the store, but takes way too long to actually receive it and it’s late.

Had a previous issue getting furniture scheduled for delivery thought we would give it another chance. Furniture was scheduled to be delivered between 10 and 2.... took time from work to be available, received a message running late ok no problem. Then was notified delivery staring at 1 and will be here by 5.... guess again sorry will be there by 6:30.... still nothing called and they advised don’t worry it will be 2 more hours and it will be there, wrong. Dispatcher called and said there was 3 deliveries that they couldn’t make, ok no problem what time can we do it tomorrow on Saturday Morning? No sorry it will be Sunday... really what time, between 10 and 2. Received a call at 3 driver having issues and will call you, driver says” can you meet me and pick up your chair” ... what no that’s why I requested delivery... well you have a steep hill to get to your house, I provided directs to 2 alternate routes and advised call me if you need more info. 45 minutes later no call back even though they were 5 minutes from my home. Called the store multiple excuses and a delivery manager will call.... we’ll that was 7 hours again. Guess what Room to Go .... no thanks keep the chair your service sucks, excuses are exhausting, no reason to have suck subpar service ..... if you want to avoid frustration steer clear.

Today I purchased a Serta iComfort CF3000 with a Motion Perfect IV base from Ashley Bunch. She was very knowledgeable and spent time with me to determine what I needed and wanted in a mattress/base. She showed me several options and brands, readily explaining each. Ashley was never pushy and made this purchase a pleasant experience. I left feeling totally pleased with my choices and decisions.

Ordered an entire bedroom suit from Gunbarrel Rooms To Go in Chattanooga, TN. When putting together the bed frame, one of the slats would not go in and hook down properly into the headboard like the other side did. When I called and spoke to “costumer service” I told them I was unable to put the bed together. The woman I was speaking to was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was told someone could be out in 3-4 weeks to look at it. During this time, I figured out other sleeping arrangements since the new bed frame was not an option. Today, April 24th was the day someone was supposed to come out to finally look at the issue and hopefully fix it. Received a text that they were 5 minutes away from my house, but no one ever showed. Tried to call to get in touch with someone regarding this, but got nowhere.It is just disappointing that it seems Rooms To Go could care less that their costumer is still not able to use the furniture they bought.. Honestly not sure what to even do at this point.Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend anyone spending their money here, because if something happens to not work with your furniture you are just out of luck...

I will never buy from rooms to go again! I purchased a $3,000 couch from them and it was suppose to be delivered today between 10 am and 2 pm. I been sitting and waiting on my couch and the dispatcher calls me at 5 pm to tell me the truck broke down this morning and won’t be able to make the delivery. I took work off today and sat around all day waiting and that’s all they tell me. As I’m speaking to the dispatcher about why they couldn’t get another truck to make the delivery the guy said have a good day and hung up on me. This is ridiculous. I will never buy from RTG again and I will encourage anyone looking for furniture to never go to RTG. Terrible communication and very unprofessional.

Wonderful staff and great to work with. Everyone one I dealt with (sales, support, management, and delivery guys) took great care of me. The furniture quality versus price is debatable but that can be said about any furniture place now days. I had some pieces deliver broken but this stores customer service is top notch made things right asap. I would but form them again.

I have worked with Matt on 3 separate purchases now. He always is happy to help. And is patient with walking around and looking at everything with me. He answers all my questions and is so nice. I’ve recommended him to other family and friends who have purchased from him too. All around great guy to work with.
