Mine was an awesome experience in selecting a much needed new mattress, or better put, sleep system. At 70 years young :) I have sleep, sciatica, aches and pain issues. I had been researching mattresses for some time, and had concluded TempurPedic would most likely and best respond to these issues.I visited Mattress Firm, N Market Street, Chattanooga, TN on Friday, October 1, 2021, where I was politely and professionally greeted by Samuel. Fortunately (for me anyway) I was the only customer in the store, allowing uninterrupted and complete attention from Samuel. He listened to and HEARD my concerns, and provided superior presentations of several options, thoroughly explaining features and benefits of each.I very confidently selected the system most suited for my concerns and needs. The purchasing process was fast, no pressure, professional, and seamless.Extremely satisfied, and looking forward to delivery and good sleep!

I walked in without much knowledge about what I needed or about mattresses at all. Kristen was MARVELOUS! She asked my sleep style, firmness preferences, encouraged me to try various mattresses that would suit my needs. Then and only then did she work with me on price to find the model that not only felt perfect but that I could afford. It was a wonderful, easy shopping experience.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience purchasing a mattress from here. I was told at the time of the purchase my mattress delivery would be within 2 weeks. When I reached the 2 week mark I contacted the store to get help, there was no tracking information for the order and no one had even contacted me regarding this. I felt I was receiving the runaround treatment and I had to constantly follow up with the store. I was not notified with updates proactively. While a ticket was filed with higher management, there was still no solution or response.A month after placing my order I went to the store to resolve this issue. I was never offered solutions to fix the problem, compensation for inconvenience, and felt the store ultimately did not uphold timely customer service. I am a night shift nurse so it is already difficult enough for me to be available during normal business hours and I am disappointed it took a month to reach a solution and that it required me to go to the store in person for action to be taken. The mattress is being delivered in 3 days with the help of the district manager, although I wish this solution could have been presented earlier. I also feel that if I had not been persistent or went to the store this issue would still not be resolved.I would like to add that Liam at the market street location was a great sales person and Kristen was the only sales associate I felt truly cared about my delivery issue and wanted to help me reach a solution.

I just spoke to Sam on the phone (he told me he is the manager of the Hamilton Place location, which makes sense because he knew exactly what he was doing!) and he helped me with an ordering issue (which, let me just say, was 100% my own fault and was no fault of mattress firm’s,) in an unbelievably fast amount of time. Like the phone call was maybe 2-3 minutes. I didn’t have to turn over a bunch of information to him, there was no wait time, he just fixed MY mistake and coordinated the delivery of a new mattress for me. This was literally the easiest return of any item I have ever purchased & I can’t be thankful enough to Sam! If you call this location or the Hamilton Place location, ask for Sam! I never leave google reviews but I asked him his name just so I could. Thanks again, Sam!

Easy experience salesman was great

This place was amazing. I was moving from Chattanooga to Houston. The first Sam I worked with was so nice, let me test out multiple models, and hooked up my order. He allowed me to hold it for two days before confirming the order. I came back in and dealt with manager Sam and he was extremely helpful and patient with my family. We completed payment with him and he made everything painless.When I got to Houston the apartment the bed was being delivered to for me was not ready and I had to switch apartments. I called and spoke to manager Sam and he was amazing helping me change my delivery date and putting it on hold until I got a new address. Once I figured out where I was moving I called back to set up delivery. This time another guy (I don’t remember his name I’m so sorry, maybe Charlie?) looked up my account and got my mattress back on track.Throughout my whole move the process was beyond stressful. This was the one place where I had zero stress even when I had to switch apartments in a blink of an eye.They are all nice, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional! Thank you!!!

It was so evident that the store manager Sam Wells was passionate about his job. He genuinely cares about the overall customer experience and went above and beyond taking care of our needs. It never seemed like he was trying to make a sale instead he was interested in making a personal connection and lifelong customer. I’d highly recommend this store based on several factors. He made sure we had all the necessary accessories and even went online to search competitors prices to match them. He was patient and took his time answering all our questions never making us feel rushed. Even more than a month later I called with questions about additional accessories and he didn’t hesitate to help. Within minutes he’d sent me a link via email to help me with the online purchase. Like most people, buying a mattress is not on the top of my list of fun things to do, but Clayton at Mattress Firm on Market Street made it very easy. No high pressure, but a knowledge of wealth about the products. We had a small issue with our purchase, and Clayton made sure that we were taken care of to our satisfaction. I am disgusted with this business. I bought two mattresses and payed for them to be delivered. The delivers refused to take away my old mattress because I moved it outside to my garage to make it easier on them. I will never do business here again. Very poor customer service and rude employees. No one told me that my mattress would not be moved if I moved it to an outside. Very disappointed

I recently bought a new BeautyRest Black Diamond mattress from this location, and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience! The salesman, Sam, was fantastic! I went in thinking I needed a really firm mattress for my bad back (as had always been suggested to me), but after he showed me a few medium firmness memory foam (MUCH more comfortable and supportive) and an adjustable power base (you can raise your head up to watch TV or read, and raising the feet up is GREAT for my back!) that was exactly what I wanted! The mattress stays cool, too- I didn’t know this existed! With the cooling Black Diamond pillow to match, I’m in sleep heaven! Even the delivery was amazing- they said it would arrive at 3:00 pm; at 2:58, they were at my door, super polite, efficient, and took away my old mattress, too! I’ve ordered a houseful of new furniture since moving, and my mattress and the base have been the ONLY things that arrived on the day and time they said! Great service, flawless delivery, and a mattress I’m in love with! Thank you, Sam, AND Mattress Firm- I’ll be back for my daughter’s room! (she’ll die over the power base-she can Facebook in bed!)

My sales and buying experience was positive. The delivery experience, however, worst Ive ever had with any company! They supposedly couldnt find my house to do the delivery, and then i was lied to by the driver over the phone who said he wasnt the delivery person, but the warehouse guy and couldnt help me and i would have to reschedule with my sales guy (personally I think he just didnt want to do his job or be bothered) then come to find out he was the driver, and just left my neighborhood and went on about his day. When I contacted the sales person and store manager to try to still get my delivery later in day and express my dissatisfaction, they said no they cant do anything about it, I missed my scheduled delivery time slotted for me today, I would have to wait 2 days for next delivery option. I own 4 businesses and would never treat my customers that way! Even if i had to drive delivery truck myself, i would make sure i worked after hours to make that delivery or the employee would.Needless to say, I told them to cancel my order I will not be doing business with them and will let everyone I know to do business else where. Worst experience ever!!
