My axles went out on my way through the area, and they got me right in, got brand new axles ordered, cheap prices on brand new tires, and got me on my way. Super awesome guys, really kind, and caring. Very clean, professional shop, and highly recommend if you’re in the area.

This company has done amazing things. They will fix your vehicle and then some without even asking. They also love animals. My pet was stuck inside the dash and they saved him. If youre looking for a one stop shop that you can come back to over and over again this is the place. If you do business with them once you will do it with them again that treats you like family they know you by name its amazing.

We were in town with my daughters soccer tournament when I noticed one of the other parents vehicle had a tire going flat. She was leaving for SC as soon as the game was over. At halftime I took her car here and John took care of plugging the tire. His guys were so efficient that I got back to the field before halftime was even over. This place is super clean and very friendly. I wish I lived closer, I would make these guys my regular crew for my vehicles. Barely rolled into the shop with a messed up car. They helped me out immediately and even drove me home! They were very upfront and honest about what needed to be done and potential cost. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

I took in my explorer to get the air line looked at because there were the only one to be under the hood and they had a tech training when they did a Heli coil for a plug and took off the ac line and then did not put it back on the bracket and the fan blade was hitting it and put a hole in it then I called and told me to bring it in and said it was a motor mount did it and you can clearly see the marks on the fan and they were the last to mess with it. Don’t do business with them they are crooked and scam people out of there money they did my mother in law the same way they want 658 dollars to replace the line that they messed up and for the “ supposedly bad motor mount that is not bad at all they are very rude there I’ve worked at 2 automotive business and never heard anyone talk to a customer like they do

Amazing service was provided by Stan and John. My brother and I were on our way to Florida from Kentucky, and we noticed the car started to feel as if it was dragging something. It was such a rainy a day that we got really nervous and decided to pull over at this location. They were ready to help us and greeted us so warmly. Traveling to Kentucky and our check engine light came on, we pulled into a gas station and I was looking around seeing if there were any car stores around and by luck I looked across the street and saw State Line Auto Store, so we went straight to them. They got right to us and ran an extensive diagnostics on our vehicle and explained exactly what the diagnostics was and helped us tremendously. The mechanic there are wonderful and honest. You know its hard to find honest mechanics these days. Their rates were much lower than any other place Ive been to. Their work on cars is A1. I recommend them to everyone.

Im writing a review this time because my experience with Tracy, the owner and Matt, the auto guru, has always been incredibly pleasant and positive! I have been bringing my BMW Roadster to them since they opened and their treatment of me and my car has consistently been above and beyond previous experiences at other places. Theyre all highly knowledgeable, refreshingly trustworthy and always accommodating. You do yourself a disservice if you dont choose their service. And that comes from my heart.

I have had to take my SUV there twice, once for front end work and once for bearing replacement. Matt is friendly, professional and knowledgeable and gave me great service. Since I was less than 5 minutes away, they gave me a ride home when I dropped off my car. Tracy, the owner, is proud of the shop and it shows .. it is clean and the work is top notch and they did both of my repairs in one day.

I sent my Traverse to Stateline over 3 weeks ago to have the timing chain and both axles replaced. I even supplied the parts. I dropped my car off on a Friday with a guarantee it would be done by the following Wednesday at the latest. It wasnt even touched for two weeks. In the meantime, I was lied too, evaded, and given the run around. By the time the work was finally done to my car, it was done wrong. My car is still sitting there, torn apart, while the shop has been locked up for the past week and the owner is avoiding all calls. UPDATE - it is now going on 8 weeks. My car is still there. Havent heard from the owner in 2 weeks. Guy e had now blocked my husband number. My car hasnt been touched in weeks. It is torn apart is the garage. I already paid a down payment to them for this repair. My husband has now lost his job because of the lack of our car. UPDATE: THE BUSINESS SAYS CLOSED BUT ITS NOT!! i just got my car back after 14 weeks of hell. Tracy Matthews still hasnt spoken to us since week 5-6. My car is running worse than when we dropped it off AND is now leaking oil!! He stole $600 then destroyed my car!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND RUIN YOUR CAR!!

This mechanic saved me $1730 in 20 minutes. Absolutely astounding. They fixed a noise in the rear of my car that another dealership misdiagnosed and quoted me $1750 to fix. If you want an honest mechanic, go here first!

Great service, great price. My wife’s Mini Cooper lost engine power on the interstate. We pulled over on the side of the road and googled shops. State line was close so I took the risk of driving it over. The owner immediately pulled it into the bay, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and fixed it good as new in a few hours. Cost me less than $200. They took a possible horrible situation and handled it perfectly. 10/10

Took my car here in June 2018 for a new transmission after breaking down on vacation from Atlanta. Got the car back a week and a half after I was supposed to and took it home. Not even 3 weeks later, the ‘replaced’ transmission fails. Tracy Matthews had someone come pick it up and I haven’t seen it since. That’s right folks, TRACY MATTHEWS STOLE MY VEHICLE. I haven’t seen it since July 2018, 5 months. I trusted Tracy as he said to me he’d “take care of me”. He threw all kinds of BS at me, about how he understood that I was a young lady in need of help and that he had daughters that lived far away when they were younger and he’d want them treated the same way. An obvious former used car salesmen... After weeks and weeks of runaround answers and avoiding my phone calls, tracy told me my car was ready, about two months later! I initially told him I needed it no later than one week, otherwise I’d have it done here in ATL, Which he said would be easy. 3 days after I was told it was ready, 6 weeks into this stupid charade, the phones shut off. These people are immoral, dishonest thieves and crooks. They stole my car, stole almost $2,000.00 from me In what i had paid in repairs and made my life a living hell, not to mention the $1900.00 I spent ubering to and from work, as I have no family or support system in Georgia. This whole thing cost me so much that I will never get back. I have no idea where my car is now. It’s now January 2019 and I’m still picking up the pieces because of what they did to me. Honestly I’m not even sure how they are getting away with this. I have two words for anyone even remotely thinking about going to this awful place- RUN AWAY!!!

They had my car for 2 weeks before I even got a diagnosis to what was going on with my car. My car was doing some hesitation and rattling when trying to accelerate. When I finally got a diagnosis, the owner said that I had a #3 misfire which consist of a full tune up and my AC compressor went out. That was it! I just told them to just do the tune up and Ill worry about the other later. Two days later got a call saying my car was ready and didnt say anything else about my car. In the midst of getting my car, they called me to see when I was picking it up. When I paid and got my car, it was doing the exact same thing as to why I brought it in in the first place. Before I even left the lot, I went right back and ask one of the workers who worked on it why its doing the same thing. His response was that my transmission was slipping. But my transmission hasnt been brought up in any of my conversations with the owner. As I was driving home, the exclamation indicator light came on and my car was worse than it was when I took it to them. Its not even driveable at this point.
