Jason (assistant manager) is awesome at East Brained location. He run store efficiently despite shortage of mechanics. The day I needed new stater he only had one mechanic. He was able to take care of my car without appointment that day in just few hours. Matter in fact he also helped another guy who needed break job without appointment too while taking care of existing clients cars.

This was my first time using Maxi, and found them to be very professional, courteous and went out of their way to make sure my vehicle received the proper care. They were affordable and communicated very well. Would highly recommend.

From my friends reference they used this store over 20 years, I started using this auto as my primary car maintenance shop since 2015. It has been a good experience. In the past, I like the manager Ron, he is always patient and honest, very trustworthy. After he relocated to another Maxi shop, I felt a bit messy and of tension in terms of customer communication and relationship in a short period following that. Like any business, the customer facing manager(s) or representative(s) are the most important for the business in the long term. Top notched technicians are the ultimate asset for them, but not everyone can be a manager or representative to deal with the customers. Obviously they found this issue soon, now they have Lebron and Jason taking care of the store. They are both very honest and friendly, sometimes, I can tell they were overwhelmingly busy with many cars awaiting for repair. I, like my friends, was always given the problem explanation and the solutions, as well as the quotes. I saw a couple a single * rating from a few customers said Maxi went ahead to fix without calling and giving quotes, I am very surprised. Two weeks ago, I brought my BMW 328i there asking for a check or replacing the timing chain if necessary, Lebron told me honestly they cant do that as they do not have such tools for it -- one of a few things they cant work on, instead he gave me another auto repair shop to try. It turned out to be a very good one. I appreciate that. Hope it keep up good work with traditional merit and professionalism, and fair and competitive price!

I took my car for general inspection before taking a long cross country trip. I talked to Jason and they were very thorough with their inspection. They didnt try to upsell me on anything. He was very honest and very personable. I am very grateful for honest people like Maxi personnel. Youve gotta try Maxi for your car care needs. You will be glad you did

Had two separate experiences with this repair shop. One on wifes BMW and other on Honda Ridgeline. Truck had a/c issues. Lebron promised me theyd figure it out, and they did. Had a relay switch problem, not the easiest to diagnose. Will gladly bring any auto issues to them.

Quick and fairly priced, even stayed after hours to wait for us to pick up our vehicle.

Didn’t call me to give me a quote on my vehicle and did the service anyway as well as trying to upsell me on getting a mew motor when that wasn’t the case at all, and also didn’t do a diagnostic reading and give me a quote on that as well. They did what they wanted when they wanted and I did not appreciate that.

Took my car in for the clock spring in my steering wheel. They changed the clock spring and now some buttons and voice command doesnt work. The cruise control light is also on and will bot go out. Jason told me that he would take it to the East Ridge store to hook it on their Volkswagen computer, its been almost two weeks and Jason has not called me back to take my car and fix it. I already paid over $600 to get it fixed and now they dont want to fix it.I was also quoted $250 to fix a valve gasket leak and after having my car for 2 days they pulled out of fixing that.

They are really nice havent gotten the work done yet but I believe Ill be satisfied.

Took my car in 3 months ago for brakes and rotors to be turned. I was charged for that and I paid for that even though it was more than quoted by email. However, less than 3 weeks and I had a shake every time I pressed the brakes. I didnt have that before. I have been by there twice. Each time, I have been treated like it wasnt a big deal and I was told I would have to leave my car with them. Uh, no thanks. I would rather stay and make sure they actually took the time to fix the problem. It has now been 3 months and my brakes are worse than when I took them in. I will never use this place again. Maybe another location but not this one. I guess I am going to take it to NTB, which I was going to do in the beginning but because of time limits, I didnt have the time. Guess it pays just to do business with places that actually can perform the work even if I have to wait a day or so to get in. Horrible customer service and poor service. If you can go somewhere else, I recommend it.

They didnt know I was a mechanic so they lied to me about needing to replace a part on my car that was perfectly fine. Went in needing a simple fix and they tried to charge me 2 grand for problems they found while they were in there. Got opinions from two other mechanics in case I missed something. Nothing was wrong with the car. Several of the parts they wanted to replace had been replaced a few months ago. Will never go back

I had come down from another town to get my exhaust fixed on my car. They pulled my right in & got it fixed. I recommend this shop & will be using them myself in the future!!!

I normally dont do reviews, but this is the only place Ill take my car in Chattanooga. They do a wide range of services at a reasonable price and without all the add-ons that most places give you. I have recommended them to many friends and have never heard a complaint. Would rather take it there than any dealership.

SCAMMERS!!!! NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE. The scummiest car expirience Ive ever had. Paid $1,000+ for a part I found out later I didnt need. They lied constantly and wanted to replace more parts but I figured it out before they could put them in. Would not even think of refunding me or working with me on it at all.Will be pursuing legal action

2 other places diagnosed my truck incorrectly. Wanted to charge me $2,500-$3,500. Went for a third opinion and took my truck to Maxi. They had the issue fixed within a day and all for around $500. Truck drives great now!

Theyve been very helpful for the more complex problems Ive run into with my car. Prices are reasonable and the are very thorough. I recommend giving them a call if you find yourself in a bind.

So let’s start with only thing I wanted was my car to be check because my engine light was on the elderly man at the front who I think shouldn’t work of lack of professionalism he scheduled me to come in Saturday for my appointment but then going to say it was on a Friday which I would’ve known so he starts laughing in my face and say “well I have a lot of cars” I’m like you should’ve gave me a call if I missed my appointment but they don’t care about they customers they let me leave unhappy I will never go back.

Worst car repair expirience Ive ever had. Lied multiple times about my car. They replaced a brand new part I had installed and told me the plastic had cracked. The part was aluminum.

They charged us $150 to fix the back door of our SUV which is a personal mail truck. When it broke again a week later we took it somewhere else and it had been fixed with a zip tie just 1 zip tie. So today we spent $160 and got it fixed right. Do not go here they are crooks and do not fix anything. I have pics of the parts along with pics from the mechanic shop that did fix it.

Had oil change, 2 tires and an alignment.All ok. Been going here for years.

I was coming into town when my car was breaking down and a trusted local recommended this shop, specifically Ron. These guys knew they couldnt fix my car in the timeline I provided, but they told me the truth, told me what I needed, and were honest in their assessment of next steps. Without hesitation I very highly recommend this shop, these gentlemen, and Rons honest way of conducting business. If I were in the area with a car issue, Id go no where else. Even when I took my car elsewhere (solely because it was a Sunday) they didnt find what Maxi did. Look no further, go nowhere else, these guys are the best. THANK YOU to Maxi!

Said they were too busy to work on my fisncees car . Im a certified master tech myself she was in Chattanooga. Do I drove down there the shop was empty and there was 2 old junkers on their lot. Look if you cant fix a newer car dont say you cwn. Cost me 150 to go there and back to put a ignition coil on cyl 3. Dont know how they remain in business

Roger and his team are amazing! I couldn’t get to my regular Maxi repair shop, so I decided to go into the East Brainerd store. Maxi’s service is top notch no matter what location!

They do good work and I believe their honest, but theyre expensive. Still, if you want it done right. Theyll get it done

The staff that I talked to were really nice and seemed helpful. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation/alignment. I had them do a free brake check (that was one of their online coupons) and when they called they said I needed to replace all my brakes and all my rotors, which would cost about $600. I was skeptical, so I took my car to another mechanic that I knew personally and found out that there was nothing wrong with any of my rotors or my brakes, and they would still last a long time. He showed me that I had plenty of brake pad left and that the thickness of my rotors were still good and everything.Ive heard good things about the staff and, like I said, they were nice, but honesty is key for me. Dont get hosed by these guys just because they say you need to get something replaced. If you do go here, get a second opinion.

Ive had a lot of work done here and really trusted these machanics, I had my rack and pinion replaced for $802.48, Ive had my serpentine belt replaced for $136.73,Ive had my front brake pads and rotors replaced for $189.85,Ive had an eng mnt solenoid replaced for $71.50,Ive had my battery replaced for$103.40 and more, I went to them on Jan.9thneeding my altenator replaced and I paid $369,you would think Id be a valued customer, they did the work and I picked my car up and drove it and it started smoking, they forgot to put the radiator overflow hose and the overflow reservoir back on which caused water and antifreeze to blow out of the radiator all over the engine compartment, I called the manager Rodger who said he didnt think it was their fault, he was very rude and unprofessional and come to find out they were at fault! I think they owe me some of my hard earned money back but that wont happen!!

Lower price then dealership and other places. I feel they are honest. Have service twice here. Usually after calling around they are $75-$250 less. Will continue to go here as a lot of locales do.

The manager is very organized, very experienced with automobile repairs and will go above and beyond to make sure youre satisfied and your repairs are fixed. The mechanics will work with your vehicle until there is a solid diagnosis and their work is excellent! Highly recommend!

F. -Take your work vehicle or mode of transportation to the dealer for a couple bucks more, routine maintenance? They broke the bolt of of my brake caliper and 1 1/2 weeks later I hear banging, almost go off the road, now my wife has to miss two days of work so I can get to my job.i would rather schedule in advance to sit at the dealership drinking coffee and watching television for 3 hours knowing it’s done right with mechanics that are “ SCREENED” and veted than apes that think it’s better to use a high torque ratchet gun on an aluminum bolt that instead should be done with a hand ratchet to specified torque for a reason, this reason.this has cost hundreds and the aggravation, you don’t get what you pay for and also wind up in the red on this deal. These mom and pop joints will hire any goon.

As always these guys took care of my car repairs. Its hard finding mechanics you can trust because most will tell women anything. Not here. They are honest and trustworthy. Thank you again!

I give no stars. I sent car in for warntey. My transmission was going out and breaks were bad. THERE WORDS WERE BREAKS ARE 80 PERCENT AND TRANSMISSION IS GOOD. Now after few weeks of warntey ending my transmission is out and needs breaks and rotors. These guys are a joke.... I wouldnt take my bicycle there to get fixed...

Worst experience ever!! Took my car in back in January for all new brakes - supposedly replaced the disc brakes and calipers on both the front and rear - I should be good to go right? The total cost was $500. Here I am less than 6 months later with a bad vibration so I brought it back to have them correct it because it should still be under warranty since I had all new brakes less than 6 months go. But instead I find out that I had to have roters replaced - which SHOULD have been done back in January not to mention it should have been covered under warranty. But apparently instead of replacing them before, they just trimmed them down which means they wore out quicker. So now I just paid another $300+ for new roters which werent covered under the warranty because they werent replaced, they were just turned. Geez. What a rip off!! NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!
