My car broke down in a pretty narrow parking garage recently. I thought it’d be a nightmare getting it out. Nope! I called Yates kinda stressed and the lovely operator walked me through everything and ended up joking around with me about taking it apart piece-by-piece. The next day Nubz (Josh) and Tyler had it out in 10 minutes and were incredibly friendly also. Just an all-around 10/10 experience—from the initial call to the final payment. I cannot recommend them enough!

I broke down in my work van. When I called Yates, they answered promptly, politely, and were thorough regarding vehicle description, location, and destination.He also answered my questions efficiently. I was able to call another driver to pick me up around the same time as the tow truck arrived, which was a relief.The tow truck driver called me very soon after I called to tell me how long it would be before he arrived (20 minutes).He arrived within that time interval, explained what he believed the issue was, and actually started the van after a few minutes to maneuver it to the tow truck.The vans battery was bad, he explained, and would have to be replaced.I have heard that they do charge a decent price. However, since I do not foot the bill, I can not vouch for that except that my boss seems pleased with their service!

Our Class A blew a tire that also took out the radiator on Sunday, September 5th about 11:30 am. After our road hazard provider had the tire changed, Doug Yates Towing arrived; this was about 9:30 pm. The truck driver, Brian, was very professional, helpful, and empathic. Brian suggested when to tow us, knowing it would be a safe place, and who to contact for repair. He actually gets a 5 star. Due to the Labor holiday on Monday we spent Tuesday finding a repair site that could handle our rig. Wednesday, ready for a tow to repair location, Yates was approved, sometime around 12. However, only after our roadside assistance provider contacted the company and we called them did we get any information regarding arrival of a tow truck. At 3 - 3:30 we received a call requesting the tow be scheduled for next day, Thursday. Brian, again did a very professional job on Thursday. The company was very hard to communicate with, while insisting we had a storage charge to pay causing us much stress! For this we give them a 1 star rating.

I had Yates tow my car home tonight because it died on me. The operator Eric, was very professional, kind, respectful and hilarious! (And so much more!) He arrived in about an hour. He had to drop my car off at the end of my road (dead end street) due to the steep driveway and even apologized that he couldnt drop it off by closer (to no fault of his own). I have a broken foot and he even helped me limp up my steep driveway to my door. I hope I never have to be towed again but if I do, Im calling Yates! You need more people with such a kind heart working for you! The world needs it! Thanks again for the great service!

Super fast! Insurance said it would take at least an hour for a tow to come get me and car off of interstate but it only took 15 minutes for driver to arrive. He was also kind enough to help me carry my things from my car and give me a ride. I think his name is Bud but it’s been such a stressful day that I’m not 100% sure (I’m sorry!). He was extremely fast with everything and very kind! Thank you!! I wish the rest of my car issues would go as smoothly as the tow did!! 😂

We were driving our 32’ motor home across country and broke down outside of Chattanooga. Yates towing came to the rescue and was great. They communicated with us quickly and often. Our tow truck driver, Adam, made it look easy to hook up and tow our 13,000 lb RV to a service center. He was very friendly and even helped us get to a car rental office. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the service we received.

Very professional, he came at a reasonable time, tire change quickly. He also check my other tires and found that my lugs were loose on another tire. He was very helpful, I was is in a dark area and driver didn’t leave until I started driving. I was very thankful.

The absolute best customer service. I was freaking out because my battery died and my car was completely dead. Although I never caught his name, the driver treated me like family. He could tell I was freaking out and was extremely patient with me. He spoke to me like he genuinely cared! He talked me every step of the way. My insurance would only authorize one service a boost or a tow. He boosted my car, then gave me a few suggestions. I elected to drive my car to an auto zone as it appeared to be the battery. He followed me to the auto zone, hung around to make sure I was OK, and even spoke to the guy at auto zone with me! Based upon their conversation, he gave me more advice! He was so patient, thoughtful, and genuinely concerned. I thought I was getting a tow, but he blessed my soul. I was already overwhelmed due to work, then my car broke down while I was at work. His demeanor helped ease all my frustration and helped make a bad situation tolerable. I cant thank him enough! If I EVER need another tow, Yates will definitely get my business! Our rental car left us stranded in the North Georgia mountains. The closest car rental counter with a replacement car was 2 hours away in Chattan.,TN. Doug Yates towing had to send a truck at 3:30 pm from Chattanooga to pick up our disabled car & get it back to Chattanooga by 8 pm OR the counter closed and we’d be without a vehicle for another night. Their driver, Tyler, called me to tell me when he’d arrive. He flat out busted it to get to the car and get it back to the rental car counter at 7:55pm! I am in Louisiana and I had to get my daughter’s car towed from one shop to another in Chattanooga. I searched specifically for a company with good ratings. Called one company (based on location of tow destination) and got a message that voicemail was not set-up. Decided to call this company and now I know why they have a great rating!!! Immediately was impressed with the woman that answered the call. She took my information, emailed the invoice and I paid online. About an hour later I got a call to let me know they were in route to pick up my vehicle. Very professional and fantastic communication!! I would give you a 10 star rating if I could!! Thank you!!

We had a double tire blowout on out 40ft motorhome in the mountains of Tennessee and we very helpful and informational on what we should do.

When the driver got to the truck he assessed the situation was able to get a hold of his roadside assistance guy they changed out the valve that needs to be changed and I was on my way without a 100 mile tow. Great job guys.

Using this towing company was absolutely incredible! My car had stalled in the middle of an intersection in the middle of rush hour traffic at 7 am and there was a truck there in 10 minutes or less. We were then on our way to an auto shop in less than 5 minutes! Obviously, I don’t want my car to break down again but there is a part of me that wishes it would so i can experience the hospitality and compassion that I received from the company but most importantly the DRIVER! Absolute worst customer service. On hold for ages, call transferred a million times, then kept hanging up on me. I asked if I could pay on the phone they said bill would be sent to email but they didn’t have my email address. The last time I called the lady wanted to get smart because I was upset with the customer service. Save yourself the hassle, there are cheaper services. And also, don’t have a dispatch service for 25 companies, it stresses them out because she was complaining to me about it. Unprofessional.

After waiting almost 4 hours for roadside assistance from several companies via my insurance that never showed Josh with Yates Towing came and changed a tire blowout. He called and let us know he was on his way and was getting there as soon as possible On a dark stretch of Monteagle Mountain he was kind, courteous, professional and quick. We were grateful to be on the road quickly and safely after he shows up thank you Josh

Great company but the dispatcher talks to you like you dont know what you are talking about. Wants to blame you. When I didnt know anything was wrong with the trailer when they brought it back in.They lost money from me had another company come fix everything on trailer so that it could go out. Had Yates still come haul it. All the guy had to say is hey you have a flat tire and one light out I can get my service truck and fix it so we can haul this trailer but he didnt. Its a great company but I will not talk to that dispatcher anymore I will go around him.

Dillon was our tech. We had blown a tire in a dangerous part of the road. Uphill and going into a curve, outside of Chattanooga, and were not comfortable trying g to change it ourselves, especially at 1 am. Dillon was quick to the call and very reassuring that he could get it done safely, which he did.

Man Im so thankful these folks came an got me an towed my 18 wheeler an my loaded trailer then when we got to the yard actually was able to immediately tell me the issue an fix it the following morning in less than an hour for half the price of other companies! I would definitely recommend! Thank you guys so much !

Illegally towed my car, lied about if they had it or not, then took an hour to let me take it home after I paid for it. Predatory and greedy.

For the early time of morning they came to me and repaired me where I was at in a timely manner. If it wasnt for them I would have been sitting at the truckstop stop for at least 5 hours waiting in line.

Got my concrete truck stuck on a job site and within a few minutes Doug Yates had a wrecker on site and within a jiffy I was out and on my way. Highly highly recommend these guys!

I am a transportation broker and had a truck load overweight and get stuck at a scale with a full size container on his truck and no way to offload it. Shannon Yates was absolutely amazing! We called around for hours and no one could help us. This company was johnny on the spot, prompt responses, even let me do it via TEXT and that is amazing because I am on the phone all day long and cant get outbound lines often. They were quick, dispatched a tow truck driver before payment was made, the offload and storage at their facility went as SMOOTH as pie, and then the reload this morning onto a different truck was also smooth. We could not have asked for a better Customer Service Experience. We are in Oregon and this was done in Tennessee... and it went great! Would recommend them to anyone and I was recommended to them by a gal at a Pilot truck stop nearby and she said they are the best tow yard that she knows of!

Needed a tow from Athens, TN to Cleveland. Doug came from Chattanooga and kept me posted as to his time of arrival. Extra diligent making sure my car was secured. Called me after he dropped it off at repair shop.

We were not happy when our brand new motorcoach wouldn’t start and didn’t welcome the ideal of it having to be towed to Frightliner. Our driver Doug called and kept us informed on his arrival status which was a very reasonable time.We were very happy by the equipment and the level of service that we got to tow our brand new 2021 class A motorcoach.The equipment was great and Doug was very experienced and also got us to relax and explained that this does happen at times. He assured me after all of my questions that he had the right equipment and knowledge to properly tow our new class a motorcoach and deliver it to Frightliner. Yates towed my vehicle off the ridge cut less than a mile from there shop and time they opened the next morning they wanted $165. the very next morning they wanted $ 300! now they are closed on the weekend and im prepared too learn its going too be a thousand dollars by monday. i would not suggest this buisness for anyone. lousy service

Honestly, I was super impressed. This is only the 2nd time I’ve had to deal with having a car towed (first time was my own Jeep & this time was my sisters BMW). It was 2:00AM, and we had to get my sister’s car towed home & out of the road. She and myself both have full coverage under State Farm, and I had already had to use my roadside assistance to get my car towed before. Since I knew how to get the tow started, she asked me to just do it for her since she needed to go to bed for school this morning. We drove to her car, and we were going to try to fix whatever was wrong so we could just drive it home. It was way too dark with no street lights at all where she had to pull over due to running hot. I started the roadside assistance process through StateFarm, and we sat there waiting for over an hour for State Farm to assign a towing company to help us. Finally, at 3:20AM, I got the text that a towing company was assigned and fixing to be on the way! Doug Yates Towing was just outstanding in every way possible, especially compared to whatever company it was that towed my Jeep a few months ago. I wish I could remember the man’s name who did the service for us (it just happened last night & I still can’t remember his name🤦🏼‍♀️), because he was super fast, polite, helpful, professional, and patient, despite it being almost 4:00AM! He helped my husband “inspect” my sister’s car (it ran hot after she hit a curb), so they could figure out exactly what my husband needed to work on to fix the issue. He was just all around awesome, and we both think he represents the towing company in the best way possible. I would honestly recommend StateFarm to just stick with Doug Yates Towing for everyone’s roadside assistance needs, because after the experience with this company, I wasn’t even mad about how long it took StateFarm to assign them to help us. My 4 year old daughter even said, “When I grow up I’m gonna be a tow truck helper!” She loved watching the whole thing take place, and she tried her best to make me let her out of our car to go help my husband and the nice man.😂 I would definitely recommend them to anyone & everyone who needs a tow!

They said would be there to get my car in one hour. A hour and a half later I called them to see how much longer. They were unable to tell me how long because the only truck they have apparently was on another call.

This is the 2nd time my husband has used AA not only do we use them to tow our large trucks, But we also use them to work on our vehicles as well. He called them in the middle of the night last night and they had no problem driving 4 hours to go pick up our truck and 4 hours back. They are always professional when we call and their mechanics do a great job. They are the only people we use In chattanoog. I highly recommend Yates

I was originally waiting on Roadside Assistance with my AT&T. I had been waiting for a response just for notification for 1:30. Bill was able to pick in 20 minutes even though dispatch said it could take 60. He dropped my car off and took me to my place of residence.

I have to say they got me and family off the highway timely and brought me to a mechanic to get my alternator replaced in less than an hour at more than half price I got quoted from the 3 places I called. On my way on Christmas vacation to Tennessee from Florida!!!!!!. Roy treated us like family. Cant say enough about him. He even called me later to see if I was on my way and was okay, who does that? Contacted through my insurance. Not only were they very timely in the transportation of my vehicle, the driver even took a look to see if it was a simple fix. Turned out it was a simple fix of a simple tightening, so we not only got our car back, it came back working better than when we left it.
