For a little store competing with the big stores, they do great. Offer the best meats in town.

This is a great local grocery store. There is these little deli meals you can get. There is lots of options to get in them. I usually have the chicken strip with jo Jos and Mac and cheese. Great meal for kids, but each meal box is good for two meals. And its only 5 dollars. You get much more than you would get at McDonalds and the food tastes homemade. Its great for if youre having people over and need to have something quick. There is the 1 person meal the 2 person meal and there is a big meal but I cant recall what All the sizes are. I needed a nice place to stop at and get some groceries. Also the salt for your water softener is great. I think that its amazing here. I love how there is pictures of like the history and how its family owned. I like shopping at family owned businesses. They also have balloons and flowers. I think its a nice place to get meals at. The meals are great for senior citizens. Also the donuts are amazing too. I feel very safe going there and getting food and groceries. Amazing prices too. I recently went there to get some stuff for vacation and the workers were amazing. Always shop at family owned businesses instead of like target or Walmart because family owned business are smaller and more people to help you and all the workers are nice. They do not have pet food or pet goods here, but they have everything your small town grocery store would have. Nice people. Friendly people. I think that we should all go here as much as we can. So so, doesnt have the greatest selection, but what they do have is good. Staff make the place fun to visit as they always are positive, upbeat, and helpful.

Small old fashion seasonal grocery store

Gary and Sandy Cooper are the ultimate community supporters and they are the only locally owned grocery store in eastern Carver County. Gary has some really great smoked fish and his bacon selection is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and get to know the Coopers.

For a mom and pop shop and locally owned, amazing. Prices may be high but great option to support your local grocery store as to your chain options. Sandwiches and other hot items prepared in store by the locals.

I really like the motif. They carry some unique items that are hard to find. The lady cashiering was very friendly.

Local market with great produce and good prices

Tonight I was refused service, after doing my shopping the cashier refused to ring up my groceries and told me to leave because I was not wearing a mask even after I told her I have a medical reason that makes me exempt from the mandate and also that it is a felony for me to cover my face. She was very loud about it and it was embarrassing. I have been shopping there for 5 years and never had a problem, I will not be back

I walked in this grocery store to grab something quick and got to the check out line and even after the mandated mask ordinance, there was a patron at the check in line without a mask. I said something and he argued about it. I would advise Cooper foods takes a stronger stance on mandated policys that protect their customers health, as I will not be going there because of things like this anymore.

I enjoy shopping at Coopers. Its well stocked, has a really good selection for a smaller-sized store, and the fresh produce is good. Prices are reasonable (I shop when they have sales). I recommend giving it a try!

Family owned grocery store that prides itself on quick checkout. In 30 years of shopping there never had to wait long for checkout. When the big chains had to limit meat sales Coopers never had limits. Has a bakery and deli.

Wife stopped by there today and witnessed a remarkably generous act by the store management. Won’t get into details but only to say, helped a family in need when they had no obligation to do so. Coopers may not have been our regular location as we are newer to area but if folks like this are running this operation, we highly encourage patronage of Coopers — helping community is what it is about.

I loved it when they were a 24 hour place. Theyre only open until midnight now. For a place smaller than Cub they have a great variety, a fair representation of international foods (Mexican and Asian mostly). Theyve got a good deli selection. The produce is usually good, but sometimes it looks like they have second quality available. The price will reflect that though. I think they make an effort to bring some lower cost options for those on a fixed income. They also have a good meat selection. The staff is always friendly and there is the down home feel.

Ive recently moved to Chaska and have been shopping at Coopers because its so convenient. I love their selection of Amish goods and they carry other local items that you cant find at other grocery stores (like smoked whitefish). Prices are decent too. I highly recommend checking this market out.

The cute little small town grocery store it doesnt have a ton of variety like some of the larger places but it seems like they make do just fine and the town appears to be happy with the small shop vibe. Could use a little updating but I guess its can be said that it adds to its charm

Ive been shopping here since I was a kid. Coopers still gives me that small town feel like Chaska used to be. I dont buy any meat from anywhere but meat markets and Coopers. The big grocery stores beef will stay pink for weeks. That doesnt mean its fresh, that means its full of additives to stay on the shelf longer. Coopers is definitely fresh without additives, more like a meat market but for less money. Ill always be a costumer.

It is a nice small town grocery store and the staff is always friendly! The selection may not be as wide as some of the larger stores, but they do have everything you need and sometimes I find the larger stores overwhelming. Plus it is nice shop locally and support our hometown businesses.

Coopers is a great, small town grocery store, extremely convenient to all of downtown Chaska. We frequently stop in for purchases, and everyone is typically friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for something specific they will help you find it, or even get it in the store for you regularly, if needed. They have recently worked on getting the store cleaned up and putting effort into the feel of the store. I love Coopers and chose them over the big chains whenever I can.

If you are looking for carpeted floors and fresh halibut this isnt your place. If you are looking for friendly, socially responsible, community focused... best grocer ever. I shop here for the vast majority of my needs and Im never disappointed.

In a rare throwback to a bygone era, this is one of the few grocery stores which is still owned and operated by someone living in the town and which it resides. Unfortunately, it most likely hasnt been updated since that bygone era. Aesthetics aside, the grocery store offers everything one needs in a pinch. Pricing is a little high, but it is perfect for when you run out of milk, or need to stock up on snacks. The store has a great small town feel, and the owners support the community, it is too bad that larger chain stores are making small town stores like this obsolete.

Come in every now and again the employees are really nice and caring but the store manager is horrible and how he yells at his employees is very bad management. Not a good look on the store, treat your employees better and I’m sure they will do better!

Cooper is an old fashioned family owned store. The deli has daily lunch specials that are affordable filling and good. They carry some of the older type products that are not available in the big box stores. The owners are working to make it better. Several employees have been with the store for well over 20 years. Whim I need to find something I can get the help I need. Its a good place to shop.

Old grocery stores like Coopers are hard to find. I like the aroma of donuts from their bakery everytime I walk in. Yes their $ is a bit higher than anywhere else, their selection somewhat less, and the store looks worn... but their people are friendly and the deli has great food.

Prices are tad high. The convenience factor of 24/7 is nice. Interesting specialties. But I echo what others have said produce can be hit or miss.

I like the setup and convenience but the white guy with the long beard and glasses has no customer service skills, I gathered racist! No greeting or a word from him the whole time my daughter was being kind and still no word! But as we walked away he said hello to the lady behind us who didnt even respond to him, I guess she also noticed his lack of customer service!
