Kind of same with other retailers, now not many sales staffs are moving or helping customers. I wanted some help but all staffs were busy folding clothes...And why do I get impression from them, that Im just bothering them.This store is recommended no more.

Clean. Well designed/organized store. Friendly and helpful employees. High quality clothing, accessories, and camping gear. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I wish they had a better selection of tall sizes.

Stopped in for a pair of hiking boots. Didnt end up finding a pair unfortunately, but the employee was very nice and double checked in the back for my size even though it was unlikely. Ended up buying a hiking backpack, which we were also in the market for. Not the biggest store, but still enough variety. Employees are always the nicest.

Have shopped @ll in one Bean capacity or another for 40 years. While quality has deteriorated over time it has less than most places and they still stand by their product. This a.m. I attempted for over twenty minutes to make a payment over the phone. DISASTER! doubt I will be using their card again. 20 minutes an I still have not been able to make a payment. Gave my debit card info 3 times, was told it would cost me$5 to make payment WHAT! Then was told they would send me back to automated sys. where I started, I declined. But there i could make a payment using the routing #from my checking account! I cant help feeling like my account info is being needlessly exposed. And the payment still hasnt been made.

Got me some pants here, and theyre pretty great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will buy pants from here again... Eventually. Im good on pants right now.

Friendly staff and clean place. Prices are a bit high in general, but you dont really go here for the best prices. They do have good sales you can find. Overall a good experience well worth visiting.

Bean always offers the highest quality but tends to run a little more expensive than I commonly spend, but when I do I always feel good about everything. Ive always felt their return policy is very fair and makes me comfortable ordering online from them knowing I can return things to the store.

L. L. Bean has always been my go to store for items that I need to be quality. They have never disappointed, and if they ever did, their guarantee is second to none. Yesterday, as an added surprise, I found an item that I had wanted to buy for some time, on sale! Thanks Beans!

Great products. Clean store. Was approached by friendly sales staff. Things were going great until I hit checkout. I was asked for my last name just to complete my purchase. Apparently, it helps keep your receipt on file and extends the return period. Nice benefit, on paper. I declined to give my name and asked for the old fashioned paper receipt. The cashier seemed frustrated and tried again to ask for my name. I declined. She explained the benefits again. Again, I declined. Then, she proceeded with the sale and was visibly agitated, short with me, and seemed frustrated. The thing is... Why do we have to feel obligated to give our zip codes, phone numbers, names, email addresses, etc just to give a company some business these days? I always decline to provide my information so freely for the companys marketing database. If they want me to contribute to their marketing efforts, they can pay me for it. Plus... Data breeches are happening like crazy! End rant. Not LL Beans fault, most stores do it. But seriously though, back to the poor experience checking out... please allow customers to decline to participate while still providing customer service. I was having a great shopping experience until the end and that is the part I will remember most.

I want a womens long fleece robe. I have repeatedly attempted to get someone on the phone unsuccessfully. After a very long wait yesterday, I got a male rep in their chat app. He was fairly useless. I am extremely frustrated that I can not speak to a customer service rep to ask questions about this robe.

Very neat and well organized store. They have a little of everything. Always good quality. Some items seem high price, like some winter coats, but they do look well-made.

Great store, very clean as usual with any Bean location. We were in a rush and asked a staffer for help. He led us to two different areas that had our items. The store was well organized (although sizes were put of order in a few places). There was plenty of options, and the staffer even offered to look for our sizes in the storage area and online. Wed definitely come back. Bean is still #1 for customer service!

Nothing wrong with this location: Clean store, helpful staff. Still, I used to recommend l.l.bean to everyone because of their amazing return policy. Sadly, that is gone now, and theres no longer any reason to pay such high mark-ups. Youre better off buying from Amazon.

L.L. Bean in Garden City is small but great store. The flagship is in Freeport, Maine and that store is huge but like thre flagship location, the Garden City location has a staff that is able and equal to the task. I went in to make a purchase and even though the line was long, the staff made short order.

Very impressed with this location. The associates and friendly and helpful. I had bought the wrong size of an item online and they made the exchange in person as smooth as possible.

Purchased a jacket that had a manufacturing defect (burn/melt marks on the fabric in rear of jacket). Unfortunately I only discovered it (well my wife did) the first time I wore it. Shed thrown the receipt away already (because we were keeping jacket). Despite jacket obviously being a current LL Bean jacket (still on rack), with a clear defect, they wouldnt exchange it because I didnt have a receipt. I purchased it two weeks prior. They dont have the technology to look up card purchases nor does it appear they guarantee product quality without a paper receipt. I guess Ill go back to buying REI where I have never had an issue.

As always, a great store to just browse or to destination shop in. Well layed out, clean and neat. The staff was extremely helpful without being smothering, and the cashiers were very nice and accommodating also. All around a great visit!

While the staff is friendly, this location carries such a narrow range of mens clothing sizes that the many people outside that range are forced to shop online. I currently have multiple gift cards, having been forced to buy clothing from the online shop, without being able to try anything on, and so having to return the items for store credit. I have not once been able to find something in my size in this store, and I realize that it, much like all of the Stonefield shopping center, caters to a specific clientele. Shame on you LL Bean.

Friendly and helpful staff. This store has a good selection of Bean’s clothing and gear, though I was disappointed not to find the Union Suit-but who wears those anymore but me anyway? I got a great pair of pants on sale and as usual the quality is high and I’m satisfied.

Excellent service. Size XL really is a Size 16. No shoes in a wide width, not even their own brand. Lovely clothes etc in sizes for young thin narrow footed girls only.

This store has saved our necks twice within a week due to their awesome staff! One- my 14 months was particular about his hard-to-replace binky and he lost it in the store somewhere. Staff helped searching for it and one found it in a snow boot on a display, lol. Secondly, my husband dropped his wallet outside and someone made an effort to call out of state to contact his father to let him know whereabout was his wallet! What a week! Thanks to great staff there!!!
