Came here for the first time a couple weeks ago to get my eyebrows waxed and was really happy with the service I received. I struggled to find a place to get my eyebrows done since the benefit brow bar is no long in the barracks ulta. At European wax center the staff were very informative and kind. The rooms are very clean and I felt super comfortable! I can’t wait to return in the future!

My waxer Maddie B was absolutely amazing! She was personable, knowledgeable, and very informative before, during, and after my very first wax. It was minimal pain and Maddie fixed me right up, beautifully. Got my wax pass and cant wait to see Maddie on the regular for all my waxing needs.

They have great workers, do a wonderful job, and are reasonably priced!

I had Renee. She was really nice and patient. I was a little nervous for my first wax but she was very reassuring and kind.

Could do a better job in removing hair. They miss spots each time I go. Wax pass is almost up (hence no refunds) thank goodness and so is my money going into services here.

Kayla did my Brazilian and I’ve had this wax many other times by several experienced different service providers and this was the FASTEST and MOST PAINLESS wax I’ve ever received by a long shot. After my service with her I will never get waxed by anyone else, I walked in at 4:00 and by the time I left it was 4:11 (after paying, buying a product, and talking to the front desk about there wax packages), Kayla is a gem!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The experience was good but my appointment started 10 minutes late despite me checking in seven minutes early. No apology or discount was given for the tardiness. I was getting this service on my lunch break. I reached out on social media about this issue & they didn’t seem to care either. I’ll go somewhere else next time and stick with a business that values my time & starts on time.

Prompt and precise service. It was a holiday weekend when I visited this center, my first visit there too.. Jerica (sp?) was ready and helpped me schedule a same day appointment over the phone. I was traveling from Harrisonburg, VA so she also informed me of their 9 minute grace window. Once I arrived, I was greater, checked in and in my session within 5 minutes.I was scheduled with Farah (sp?) that day. She is top of the line! She was welcoming and explained the plan for service every step of the way. Not only that, but she also informed me of some tips and trips for home care and if I needed anything or noticed any imperfections. I would highly recommend her! Michelle S has grown to be more than just my wax specialist, shes my therapist, my best friend, she cracks me up everytime, she makes the whole experience that much easier and dare I say...... comfortable? She will ease your mind as she talks you through the whole process if its your first time and then strikes up a conversation to keep your mind busy. I booked my first time wax with Darian and I’m so glad I did. She was so sweet and very thorough in her work. She is funny and down to earth and she makes waxing as comfortable (as getting hair pulled out can be lol) she was great. I highly recommend her! People up front were nice too! I’m a little sad because she’s about to go on maternity leave. But I’m excited for her and she recommended another specialist until she comes back. Thank you Darian!! Arrived ahead of my appt. time. Waited 14 minutes past my appt. time and was then told that my technician was just finishing up a brow appt. and apologies for the wait. Was offered another esthetician but when I was told my girl would be just a minute longer, I decided to wait. Waited another 18 minutes and had to leave because I had a tight schedule and could not wait any longer. I suggested that since they have all our contact information, it would be nice to receive a text or call that things are backed up and that Ill experience a delay. (OR even tell me when I walk in the door!) New receptionists EVERY time I go there. Was not impressed. Not sure Ill be going back, even tho I have a package there. Pretty disappointed, as I was on my lunch hour and drove 20 minutes to get there for the appt.

It was my first experience with paying for body waxing. I walked in with no reservations and was right in no problems. The person doing waxing was super knowledgeable about the the company and the waxs and services they offered. I would recommend this location at least.

Extremely satisfied and I love the products I’ve purchased.Darian’s work is very thorough, she made me feel extremely comfortable. She really does an amazing job and also provides great, helpful tips on how to keep away red bumps and how to care for my skin. Also, she is very easy to talk to! I always look forward to going back! If you’ve never had a Brazilian and have mixed feelings, don’t! It’s not as bad as you think and totally worth it. Honestly, you’ll never want to shave again.

We go here once a month and get waxed. We absolutely love our waxer Michelle S. She is very professional and friendly which makes the uncomfortableness of being half naked with a stranger so much easier. She is by far our favorite part of getting waxed. The front staff is friendly and helpful too.

I moved to a small town in VA coming from a very large city in NC where it was easy to find good waxing. I had previously tried a local waxer near the town I moved to. It was a horrible! So I found, and decided to try the European wax center. It is more of a drive for me, but worth every bit of it! I am beyond satisfied with my experience. Staff was extremely friendly, I LOVE that they offer a discount for first timers, place was very clean, and they are quick and efficient. I believe my wax specialist name was Michelle, I have made a return appointment with her, one of the best Brazilian waxes I have gotten!

I’ve been going to EWC for a few years now, and the wax pass has been one of the BEST investments I’ve made. It’s saves you money and time when checking out. They have a referral program that offers $10 for every new guest you refer and mentions your name. Darian is the wax specialist I book with and she’s the best! I’ve taken my son with me quite a few times. It’s never been an issue and she’s great with him. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The environment is great and the rest of the staff are awesome as well.

I’ve been going to this location for 3 years now, and I won’t go anywhere else. The hard wax they use is amazing! I recommend purchasing a wax pass if you plan on being a regular client. It saves you time checking out, and money. Book with Antiga, she is the best!

My brows needed attention on a Sunday afternoon. I called and was able to get an appointment that day. The two young Ladies, Alexis and Jada, did an excellent job with their customer service and Charlotte did an amazing job on my brows! I highly recommend coming here.

Worst wax I have ever experienced. I went from having thick glorious brows that just needed to be cleaned up to thin, uneven, cropped brows resembling 90s/early 2000s styles. I always have good things to say about EWC, but this location was a really let down. I will never return to this location again. I still have not heard a resolution from management.

Got a Brazilian wax for the first time, the lady who did mine was rough with me, when she placed the wax on me she didn’t even let it cool and it burned me, plus she didn’t even get all of the hair. The employees were smart and rude. I won’t be returning to this location again and will definitely go somewhere else next time. Not worth the money nor time.

Everyone who works there is really nice, and front desk personnel readily assist w/appointments. I very much recommend EWC in Chville. I love going there.

I tried to contact EWC on October 20, 2018 but never heard back so leaving a review here. On September 25th 2018 at 5:30 pm I went to get my sideburns waxed and the service was fine, but there was some wax near by eye which the technician scratch off in a circle shape very roughly. There is no pigment in that area anymore (after 4 months) and it is very noticeable. I tried to reach out to EWC but no one got back to me, from corporate or the Charlottesville location.Here is a photo of the mark one month after the scratch.

WORST BROW WAX ... EVER !!!! Do NOT EVER GO HERE ... MY BROWS HAVE NEVER LOOKED THIS BAD IN MY LIFE !!! MIS -SHAPENED & LEFT ME W/REDNESS & TENDERNESS ON MY FOREHEAD FOR 3 1/2 WEEKS ... OUCH ... YIKES !!!!! the Mgr, KITTY ; NEVER RESPONDED TO ME after a formal complaint & then the OWNER ; returned my call ; asking me to go back in & have the situation addressed by the mgr . ON 3 different occasions,I personally went in ; the mgr. was NEVER there & on the last attempt; she was there BUT WAS TOO BUSY TRAINING someone to come out address me personally ??!!!! UNBELIEVABLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE !!!!!!!

I have had gone to many wax facilities around Charlottesville and have never encountedone consistent results. I have been to this facility consistently with my tech Michelle. Absolutely my choice for waxing!

I may be a little biased since I work for EWC but I have gotten waxed by every girl in the Charlottesville location and each one of them are beyond phenomenal. I use almost every product from the Strut 365 line and for the price you pay the ingredients are fabulous, and when used correctly give you the desired results! So happy that EWC came to Charlottesville...it has changed my life!!

Worst experience ever at a European wax center will never go here again.Pot was empty even though I had an appointment so guess they turned it up to melt quickly the wax was too hot burnt my skin.Staff walked in during a Brazilian to get stuff for another client.Front desk staff was inappropriate and rude (oddly a manager that believes it is unhealthy to get a Brazilian and felt my practitioners were outdated).Owner only offered me a return visit to get my services redone for free and wouldnt return my money or let me go to another location because 4 days had passed before I was able to make contact.To management and ownership please do not contact me I already attempted to resolve this issue and after three months of phone tag and run around your only resolution was to have me return to have the same staff redo my waxing for free.Thanks but no thank you
