Cosners is one of only two body shops in Charlottesville that my insurance will guaranty the work. The other one is Browns who I used five years ago and wasnt impressed with their work. Last year when I had a small fender bender I used Cosners to fix my car.I went by and Glen did my estimate. He took pictures of all the damage, came back inside to upload the pictures to his computer, called for parts and got me a quote worked up.Glen is friendly and helpful. The other two service writers are also friendly one of which asked if I was being helped while I sat waiting for Glen to finish the quote.Any other body work I need I will def. use Cosners again.I havent any problem with them or see anyone there be rude to a customer.

Took my car here after I was sideswiped by another vehicle. They took care of everything that needed to be fixed and did so in a reasonable time! The paint job, body work, and any hidden damages were all fixed and in spectacular condition. The day after I pulled off the lot, the side that wasn’t hit had a problem. I called Cosner and they said they would fix it. Within 2 days I was called that the part was in and that same day the problem was fixed and I was back on my way. Besides the service, the people are extremely friendly and communicate very well. I highly recommend Cosner Brothers Body Shop and would be glad to give them all my business in the future.

Insurance didnt want to fix my door my window was out . I wish I had the guy name that helped me he ordered one I only paid 98.00 thank I saved over a thousand

First contact was very polite secretary who was very organized & professional. My vehicle was completely repaired after bring rear ended and I have zero complaints!!!!

Great truck restoration & REPAINT!! After deciding new trucks are too expensive we decided to fix up the truck we ALREADY have. Our 24 yr old trucks clear coat had failed on the hood and all the paint was faded. We selected Cosner Brothers after talking with 3 body shops. They were friendly and answered all questions and provided guidance. Billie, Larry & crew patiently took apart, fixed minor dings and repainted and clear coated our 1995 Nissan midsize truck. We were thrilled with the result and would recommend them. Our neighbor just saw it and thought it was a NEW truck.While in the office I overheard that UVA Facilities Management staff brought one of their fleet cars in for repair too. Cosner Brothers is a large shop that appears to have the right people, equipment and skills to restore and repaint cars.

I found these people to be friendly and courteous. They did a fantastic job on my car and stuck to their estimated time frame. I would use them again and recommend.

Had the worst experience I’ve ever had with the body shop. When I first pick the car up the paint did not match. They had to repaint the car for a second time. When I pick the car up for the second time it had orange peel really bad over where they had just repaired. I was told that the more I washed it the smoother it would get. Which is not the case you actually have to wet sand the car now. I took the car back in to have them wet sanded and was Greeted with an attitude. They also lost a plug that covers up the screw hole in the back of the car and refused to replace it. I will never recommend them again or go back to them.

I bought a new car last year and have had to take it to the body shop twice (a concrete pole in a parking garage and a deer). The first time I brought my car here, I had already gone to several body shops for estimates. I only brought it to Cosner Brothers because my insurance company told me I had to. The folks there are very nice and they did an excellent job. After the repairs, my car looked like new again. A few months ago, I hit a deer, and I took my car straight to Cosner Brothers. Again, it came back looking brand new. I could not be more pleased. The folks there were very nice and told me to bring my car back if I had any problems with the repairs and they would stand by their work.

I have a $6,000 car, got in a little fender bender and only needed one part fixed and the estimate is $6,700 . Keep in mind I need 1 door, or for them to pop the door out . So a $6,000 vehicle cost $6,700 to repair a dent in the door ? Outrageous pricing, not very easy to talk to, I was just amazed they have been on business this long with this type of service ! Wow !

The work they do its not great. The work they did on my car was terrible. I dont recommended at all. Take your money somewhere else.

My wife damaged the rear corner of our Honda about two years ago and we took it to Cosners for a repair. They did it quickly but when I went to pick it up, the panel they replaced was much whiter than the rest of the white car. When I pointed this out I was told that the new white section of the body would darken over time. This seemed contrary to the fading effect of the sun that I had observed but they were sure that they had done the very best that they could and I was under a time crunch so I accepted their work. Just a few months ago she damaged the front corner of the car and another panel needed to be replaced. This time we went to Braggs as they have a relationship with the insurance company. Braggs took much longer to do the repair but they were able to match the white color of the car exactly. I asked the technician at Braggs about a panel darkening over time and they dismissed the idea. I expect that I notice the rear panel more than others might - its not a big deal, but I am left with the feeling that I was told a story.

I was referred by Flow VW. Cosner Bros. sent a porter to transfer the car which was Great. They were not on my insurance (State Farm) approved list but One of the Cosners assured me that my insurance couldnt dictate where I have the car fixed. All of the approved shops had poor reviews and Cosner had some good ones so I wanted to work with them. They talked directly to State farm and had the parts orders on the Monday after the Thursday they got the car.The workman ship was a 7 out of 10. I had three issues: one they didnt clean the car before diagnosis or painting; two, I found a couple foam fillers that didnt get replaced.Lastly, there was some overspray and a couple minor bare spots. I returned to the shop before releasing payment and they fixed everything we could find right on the spot related to the overspray and bare spots. I gave them one of the foam pieces but was distract and dint get an answer about it and Ive since found another foam block.I had a good experience and would highly recommend them.

Rude,Rude and rude if more people who had bad experience with this place would write a review they would be out of business. I was in their and five other people were very unhappy, and had a bad experience. The guys were so rude and unprofessional. Wouldnt even let an elderly lady use the restroom, and yes she was paying her bill. Just a bunch of a holes here Period!!!.

Went for a small problem amd met with hostility from employees, like it was my fault for a busy day Id rather have the problem fixed than be slandered all day.
