Im trying to return a TV that arrived broken. Which couldve been FedExs fault in the first place for it arriving broken but who knows. Anyway, I got an email with a return label that said I could print the label off myself or take a bar code to a nearby FedEx location for them to print it off. I found this location through the link that the email had. So when I walked in I had the TV box with me. It took a few minutes for someone to even show up. Then when a lady showed up, she just did some other work for a minute before acknowledging me. Then she greeted the person behind me. I ignored that and told her what I needed. She was eyeing me up and down the entire time. Visibly annoyed and sighing a couple of times. When I was finished she said they dont do emails. Then she said they dont print labels and Id have to do it myself. What? The email I got from FedEx.com isnt from FedEx? And its incorrect when it says they will print off the label at a FedEx location? Finally she said Id have to go to a different location to ship it. She said they dont ship here. Really? They dont ship things at a Ship Center? It was obvious to me that she just didnt want to handle the large TV box. The people behind me in line all brought in boxes and didnt leave with them.
This review is specifically about the FedEx ship center off of wendover and not about FedEx in general. I think we can all agree that FedEx in general gets one or two stars at best. This specific FedEx location is pretty conveniently located, has ample parking, and accepts both express, home delivery, and ground packages. Theyre a little short on staff, so a line sometimes builds up especially if you have people coming into ship things without printing labels at home or work ahead of time. Im not convinced that the scale they used to weigh packages is actually accurate. I asked one time for proof that the scale has been checked by North Carolina weights and measures and the guy had no idea what I was talking about. Technically, anything sold by weight in North carolina, whether its bananas or a package being shipped, the scale has to be checked to prove it is in fact accurate.
FedEx has fell all the way off! Used to be a reliable business..The drivers are extremely careless and nonchalantalso probably stealing your merchandise..since they can loose your stuff with no shame and lie about it being delivered,then when you inquire..they say make a claim..Amazon is better..at least you can track your delivery

They lady was so nice and helpful, a great experience. I was frustrated with FedEx not delivering my package (several days later and it still wasnt here). She helped me get my package and gave me advice on what to do if that ever happened in the future. She was very helpful and turned my day around!
This is the 2nd time I’ve had an issue at this place. But I should’ve said something from the first time. Whoever was supposed deliver my package FALSELY recorded that it was at my door and it was not, nor at my mailbox. Coming to this facility to pick it up after speaking with customer service, who told me it should be there, they SARCASTICALLY told me that it was delivered “if I looked at my email” instead of holding the deliverer accountable for LYING.
This is a business that is failing. First off they are not at all busy. I purchased a box and offer only 2 strips of tape. Cheeeaaap.
A box of rocks has a higher IQ level than the people who work here. Seriously had the worst experience because the guy couldnt communicate appropriately. I asked him what I needed to make a new label to send something out overnight because FedEx didnt pick up when they were supposed to, despite the scheduled time pick up time that I had placed online. He couldnt answer my questions, just kept saying the same answer, despite the different questions I was asking. He couldnt provide any solutions other than calling the 1-800 number.This isnt my first issue with them. A few weeks ago had placed a package in their bin in the front, it sat in there for a week before they checked there bin. (Even though there is a sign that says it is checked daily).
The folks in FedEx center are fantastic. Awesome customer service and very pleasant people working in here. They have the patience to work with you when you have large quantities to ship.
They get absolutely zero stars from me. The delivery driver decided not to deliver my package and stuck two Door tags on my door on the same day and then when I get to FedEx to go get my items they already returned it even though I spoke to someone on the phone and she informed me that I had until Monday to come get it or he would try to redelivered on Monday and then they will be sent back out on Tuesday. Very unprofessional. And I will not order or buy anything sent through FedEx ever again.

Excellent customer service reason I understand and appreciate the customer service at FedEx because I know that the employee that was behind the counter was handling it seemed a completed over seas package and a good effort by the customer service skills was 5 star performance I didnt mind the time it took too satisfie the customers excellent service

Can someone explain why my Fedex Driver thinks it is ok to pry open my dock door and leave it open when there is no one in the building? I have complained about our driver leaving packaged unattended even when instructed not to on multiple occasions. He has set off our alarm on multiple occasions by prying the door open, he has left packages unattended on a Friday that have sat all weekend, he has been told not to drop packages without physically speaking with someone and he continues to drop packages and use the signature on file. This is how fedex operates and even after more then 15 complaints about this driver not one thing has been done.

Ordered 2 packages on the 8th paid for 2 day shipping received 1 on the 10th and the other is showing it has been sitting at the charlotte location since the 10th with no updates and a customer service that cant tell you anything. Here it is the 12th and dont have my parts. Totally unacceptable. 0 star from me.

WE MUST HAVE A NEW DELIVERY PERSON.Items being delivered after business hours and on weekends. Items left in an open non secured area. Delivery hours are posted and we have contacted the local office concerning this matter. Our regular person goes beyond what is expected.
Thy knocked once and they left after that right away, before you can make it to the door.The app shows I can pick the package for FedEx store, when I get there, the doors were close and customer service cant do nothing.VERY BAD BAD SERVICE.
Stayed at home all day to wait on a package to be delivered. I even left a note on my door stating to knock or call because the door bell does not work. At 5:46p while I was home, I get a message saying the package was unable to be delivered bc no one was home, but I could retrieve the package after 6pm at this location. There was not a door tag or anything left. I arrive to fedEx at 6:30p and still no package. After explaining to the blonde lady my situation, she was unable to provide me with a reasonable explanation for this occurrence. She also appeared to be high. While asking her about other ways I could know when the package would arrive to the faculty, She proceeds to cut me off, and ask another lady if she actually had a door tag. The rudeness and apathy was unbelievable. This is not the first time, where I’ve been home all day yet I receive a message saying the package is undeliverable bc no one is home. I honestly expect more from this company, and this particular branch is a poor representation of FedEx. I will be contacting corporate.
Drop off was a cinch (what ever that means). Anyway, I was not exposed to to a Covid--19 situation.
I am at a loss I have no idea how they can do this to customers. I called the store and got a hold of someone i gave them my tracking number and name and was told 3 separate I could go pick up my package. So can someone explain why I drove 30 minutes to get it and am told i can not pick it up today. They were no help and very short in telling me it is too much work to get to. I don’t understand how that’s my fault that it’s too hard to get.
This place is horrible the customer service is not great at all they made me come back two times and I know how to only cash on me and they told me they didnt take it the first time I came I only had a passport and they said they needed something with the address I brought my ID in And then came to skills with the debit card only it is a mess they dont even try how sad can this be.
Terrible service they lost my package said they delivered it to my door. No package contacted them they said the driver was going to stop by again to show me where he placed the package. The driver never showed now all of a sudden no ones answering. The driver never came here in the 1st place, that’s why he didn’t show the second time when he was supposed to he left my package wherever. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE

Then they will blame everything the driver, tell you one thing, the website will say something different, but when you call back its a completely different lie this time. Facility is fine, carriers not so much. They knock once, and before you even make it to the door they take off! No note or anything. No package. I was physically at home, waiting. Ridiculous. If youre not stationed in front of the door the second they knock, youre out of luck.EDIT: And OH, this was an express shipment. Which makes it even worse.

I called to get a package that said on the page was there. Upon arriving the blond lady was very polite but condecending... She said well... Call center doesnt know what happens down here, that package is in a bin and will be available tomorrow...... Then that was it like i was not even there. I was at home when my mom arrived and said FedEx put a note on the door about my package, again I was at home, no door bell rang or door knock. I never had a problem with USPS or UPS when it came to delivering a package. Now I have to get my package tomorrow.

If you have several packages you have to go up kinda steep steps or park near the handicap parking, unload and move your vehicle back to the regular spaces. Clerks are very nice however.

9 out 10 deliveries are one or two days late, with a note on the tracking saying attempt to deliver that never occurs. just a way for them to tell the sender they tried.

One employee in particular was very rude to me and literally yelled at me because they didnt have change for a $20 and that was the only way I had to pay. She toldme I should have known better because customers know they dont have cash even though the website says they take cash.

ONE MINOR ADJUSTMENT COULD RESOLVE RESOLVE IT ALL. On August 5th 2019 I received shipping information from an order and realize the merchant placed my PO Box on the label instead of the physical address. I immediately called fedex because the delivery was already in transit about to leave Concord NC, I stressed to them that the address needed to be corrected but before I could give her the physical address she quoted the correct destination I was satisfied. The package was to be delivered August 06, 2019. At 1:50 I checked my email realizing the delivery had been made I looked outside there was no paackage. I began calling to see where it could be. I soon discovered it was delivered to a retirement home and while waiting on fedex to go through the chain of command I called the retirement home and yes indeed they had the package. I confirmed with fedex that they would retrieve the package and have it delivered to me by August 7th, still satisfied I continue to wait. I made a call throughout the remainder of the day just to see if the automated system had made a status change I felt that I should be hearing that the item is scheduled for pickup even if they couldnt give me a time, no status change. I called 9 oclock this morning going through the entire conversation again because systematically I guess when something happens like this the information is not updated to all parties potentially involved. This makes it tough between the initial staff who takes the call and the customer because you are explaining over again what has happened then your transfered to someone else why doesnt everyone know at the same time what is going on why cant it at least be updated systematically through the automated system. I also made them aware that Im 5 minutes away from that retirement home and once they come out of the property they could bring that package directly to me instead of taking it back to the substation to be re-labeled. I could get it myself if it wasnt for a recent injury why is this so hard it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that a minor adjustment sometimes resolve all the issues and you can still ensure security of the items If you take time and imput proper information. Those taking the phone calls have done all that they can do, they did a great job once you began to go to upper management this is where the mass confusion begins everybody is so high minded that common since sometimes seems to elude them furthermore we do not want to talk to 15 people about one delivery. 8-8-19, during this experience I am totally dealing with the 800 line concerning customer service and fedex and yesterday was supposed to receive a follow up call by the end of the day no call. I got a friend to get me to the address site that the package was delivered received it myself gave fedex a call as I was leaving. The representative taking the call seems somewhat embarrassed, he ask me miss Phillips youve called several times havent you. I said yes sir but I have the package thank you.
I was tracking a package to be delivered to my home today. I got a notification on my phone that package could not be delivered because no one was at my location. I was home. Also there was a door tag in the notification that was supposedly left on my door. No door tag. Went to FedEx location. No driver. No package. No one that showed a reasonable amount of concern about my package delivery. Its obvious to me that the driver went to wrong address or did not come at all. Why should I have to track down my package that should have been delivered to me by FedEx?

I believe in the principle of treating your customers with care. With that being said, after paying an extra $20 for two day shipping FedEx delivered to my home. Unfortunately, because I work a 9-to-5 job like most people do I was not home. They did not leave my box in the office they did not leave my box in the mailbox, they did not leave my box By my door, but instead left a courteous note that said I could pick my box up after five at the FedEx store which was over 30 minutes away from my home. Well, I arrived at FedEx at 5 PM only to be told my box was not there that would be delivered by 530. I waited until 530 when I came back inside I was told I would need to wait until 630. I tried to explain the box contains my livelihood inside, But the workers did not care, instead they were frustrated with me for coming back at the time they told me my box would be delivered back to their office by. This was very unfortunate and I hope a better and new system is created in its place.

I made it known to the clerk that her attitude was most displeasing and she adjusted it. One final thing - FedEx prices are off the chart!!! Wow! You may need to sell a kidnet to afford sending an 8lb box to international Puerto Rico. I guess it must also be international Alaska and International Hawaii. What nonsense! 😒🙁

In the area so I visited to pick up a package for my son. My address is the same & I had the package notice. The clerk refused to allow me to sign & pick up the package. Needless to say my son was on the phone & I provided official ID. That wasnt nice
FEDEX lost my package, for three days I have been calling, and every time they give me the run around. Either they are CLUELESS or they are hiding something.It was not my choice, the sender sent it via FEDEX, I never had this problem with UPS or USPS.It is a very important and time sensitive document, it was delivered to the wrong address, FEDEX recovered the package, yet NO ONE has the slightest idea the whereabouts of this package.Despite the fact that the package was returned to their office on Wendover Rd, I was told that they have to check with Memphis, TN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Every time I call to check on an update, they tell me it take 48 hours, or some one would call me in two hours, it has ben 72 hours and as of this moment the timer started all over again now and had to wait another 48 hours....SO LONG FEDEX...you really suck.
